Very friendly staff. Upstairs outdoor bar area is beautiful with great views. The immediate area around it is kinda bohemian with lovely squares and places to eat and I would choose to stay here again if I was in Bordeaux because it is only a 20 minute walk into the heart of the city but you feel more like a local.

The Hotel Indigo Bordeaux Centre Chartrons IHG Hotel is located on the river (one street back) with in a plaza like pedestrian access only area.The accommodation was whisper quiet. The bar/lounge area is very pleasant and the rooms are very tastefully decorated. All listed accommodation amenities were well stocked. There is on site restaurant but we did not have enough time to visit. Secure underground parking with lift access gives you 2 min walking distance access to the accommodation. Easy walking distance ( 6 kms radius) to our Bordeaux Essential Bike Tour,La Cite Vin Museum & Bordeaux Cruise Tours (all highly recommend). A train is also readily available. Communication for check in and city maps is readily available at the reception.

Access to the secure underground car park is marked but the signage is quite small. Fortunately after only 2 trips around the block the local road parking attendants directed us to the correct driveway and securing a carspace was very easy.

The hotel is in the centre of Bordeaux, approximately 15-20 mins walk from downtown. It is 30 secs walk from the riverfront, where there are some excellent restaurants and bars, as well as the river tour boat dock. The hotel was situated in the CIC complex, which includes a massive, subterranean, extremely secure 24/7 car park, which we found extremely useful. The hotel itself is lovely and very clean and everything you’d expect from an IHG hotel. The staff were very helpful and considerate, spoke immaculate English and even treated our dog like another guest! All in all it is a great hotel and well worth consideration.

Nice central place with a lovely rooftop terrace/bar/restaurant. Rooms are styled nicely. Overall they did a really good job refurbishing a dull building into a friendly hotel. Rooms have toilet separate from shower/bathrooms which is a nice plus.

Parking underneath the hotel (public parking) is expensive as you would expect in city center. Although rooms and restaurant are styled nicely, this is a large hotel (not a boutique hotel): long hallways with may rooms. No issue though. I would still recommend this, certainly for 1-3 nights(!)

The staff were excellent - a real credit to the company. They were kind and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. The hotel was in an excellent location close to the train line and in walking distance of the old city without being noisy. The views from the bar/breakfast room were amazing.

The set up with the toilet out by the front door of the hotel room was a bit weird when you got up in the night to go to the loo. But everything worked so it really wasn't a problem.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Indigo Bordeaux. The hotel’s decor is modern, fresh, and inviting, with a pleasant ambiance throughout. Its central location made it convenient for exploring the city. Our room was immaculate, with a perfect mattress that ensured a great night’s sleep. The hotel was peaceful, with thoughtful touches like an ice machine and complimentary water available in the corridor. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. The highlight of our stay was the rooftop breakfast area, offering stunning views of Bordeaux city center—a truly beautiful experience.

The room was much larger than I had expected which was very welcome. The team of young staff was very friendly and helpful. there was a very nice roof terrace with great views. The location was good in walking distance of most of the sights and near the tram.

There were some mix-ups in the restaurant. I twice had to reorder when my order had been forgotten, once for a whole meal. That said, the staff were very professional and suitably apologetic when they were told and I was given free extras in compensation which I appreciated. The food, when it arrived, was also very good.

Warm welcome and smooth check in. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. A modern hotel with some quirky items in the reception area and bedrooms Our standard King Room was spacious and comfortable - it also had a fridge and safe. The bathroom had a walk in shower had hot water when we needed it. Good size and quality towels. Plenty of plugs and charging sockets in our bedroom Breakfast had a good selection of food and drinks. This was served on the top (7th) floor with a view of the city/river. A couple of minutes walk to CAPC Tram B stop - c10 minutes ride to/from Hotel de Ville

Our room (611) was advertised as having a Panoramic view - if I was being very critical, there were lots of roofs to see, more than a view of the river/city.

A nice location next to the river with plenty of restaurants & boulengeries nearby for food. It felt safe & the local streets were lovely to mooch around. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. It took us around 15 minutes to walk into the centre of Bordeaux. There is the option of the tram too. The hotel was above an underground carpark and so was easily accessible & to park (for a charge). The Rooftop restaurant has great views across the city, friendly staff and nice food. We were also able to have our little Chihuahua with us in the room

The Rooftop restaurant service was a little slow & we were told different things by different staff members on e.g whether we could order food on the patio.

Everything was truly exceptional, from the incredibly kind and helpful staff to the beautifully designed and comfortable room. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making our stay both relaxing and memorable. Thank you so much for making us feel genuinely welcome and excited each time we stepped into the lobby.
