Great location. Fridge in the room was a great bonus

Orange pram as decoration a bit creepy for our taste… skylight and small round window only so could feel a bit claustrophobic… Several espresso cups … Only one cup for tea… First night we are in the restaurant although they lost our reservation. Second night we were refused a table for a drink in the restaurant despite being paying guests - we were told only allowed to have a drink if we were eating. Which seemed a bit strange… Margot was really helpful at all times… esp wen I left my glasses behind

A truly charming property & great location for our party of 4 in the Chartrons neighborhood. Funky decoration in our 2 rooms: Seignouret & Elisée. Seignouret was large & spacious; Elisée had a great 1970s feel to it. Beds were comfortable & bathrooms clean. The landlady allowed us to leave our bags longer in the rooms, which we really appreciated.

Elisée has a small 140 double bed & an oculus window that does not have shutter (thus letting light in). Seignouret is on the 1st floor on the corner of 2 streets & so can be a bit noisy.

Excellent location. The restaurant Chez Dupont associated with the room was directly below plus there were several restaurants around the corner and a short walk along the riverside. A boulangerie was less than a minute walk from the room serving wonderful bread and croissants from 8.00 in the morning.

A trendy looking attic room which strangely had an old fashioned pram taking up valuable space. No hanging rail for our clothes and no clothes hangers. No comfortable chair to sit on, we had to sit on the bed. The kettle and coffee making were in the shower room. The shower waste was blocked causing overflow into the room, this was sorted by the owner once she was aware. No plug in the sink. These are minor issues which can be easily remedied.

The location was great in a very trendy cosy street. The associated restaurant (which was outstanding) was next door. The shower was efficient and roomy. The building was quaint. Tea and coffee making was provided

The breakfast included a nice bottle of orange juice and not much else. We were disappointed. The decor was kooky and on trend, but lacking in practicality. Lots of useless items in the room which were there to sustain the theme. The window didn't give a view.

Spacious, clean and pleasant room in an excellent location. Situated 5 minutes' walk from two different tram lines in a very nice part of town and easily walkable into the centre. Very warm welcome from our host, Margot. The optional breakfast (croissant, bread, butter and jam) was delicious and good value - delivered to our room each morning. Comfortable bed and good shower. Would definitely stay again.

The room description specified a microwave which was not provided, and a dining area which was actually table with a chair and stool that were too low for comfortable eating. Neither were really a problem as we ate out for our main meals, but the description is a little misleading.

Totally gorgeous room in beautiful setting, above a lovely Boulangerie. Very quirky with the circular bed. Room had everything I needed including a kettle and fridge, and it was easy to get everywhere in Bordeaux.

I came with 6 friends, we all had separate rooms but didn’t realise they would be scattered across different buildings. This wasn’t a problem but could be for some people so could perhaps be made more clear.

Beautiful corner room with lots of light, and charm, overlooking the cobbled streets and adjoining old city Bordeaux buildings, and their own restaurant, with delicious daily offerings. Welcoming and accommodating staff. Margeaux was great!

Only possible drawback is no Uber/taxis can enter the area, since it’s a restricted driving area, so it’s a two block walk with your luggage. However the car restrictions contribute to the charm, quiet, and walkability of the area. The work is well worth it, bring luggage on wheels.

A fabulous find set in a wonderful location with cafes and restaurants on your door step. Easy walk to the centre of Bordeaux or take the trams nearby. Chic, spacious, very clean and comfy rooms. Quiet location in a charming and beautifully maintained historic building. Margaux was very helpful and a fabulous host.

We loved the location of the property, it was very close to the center but not in the middle of it, which is exactly what we were looking for. The tram stop was super close by and the restaurants and cafes in the are where perfect. We also loved the fact that the air conditioning was in the hall and not in the middle of the room, so you could keep the room cool without the air blowing into your face while you sleep. Margo was super nice and gave us a late check out for free on Sunday. The rooms were clean and the decor is very original and fun!

Honestly, everything was great.

The location and feel of the neighborhood was just perfect. My room was very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning and everything in the room worked well. Loved the interior stone walls and high ceilings, making the room feel even more spacious. Nice touch providing packaged biscuits, bottled orange juice and water, and coffee or tea in room for self-serve breakfast. Margot was very helpful and easy to reach and communicate with.

There was nothing not to love, except perhaps climbing up and down the stairs with luggage, but I knew there was no elevator when booking.
