The hotel was well situated and we had a spacious room with a lovely sea view.

The hotel could do with a bit of an update as it was starting to look slightly tired in places. There was no milk in our room and when we asked at reception we were told that they couldn't help us so we had to have our tea black. The continental buffet breakfast selection provided was fine but the lay out was rather disjointed for example the tea bags were on the complete opposite side of the room from the coffee/hot water machine. Also there was no member of staff in the room to speak to or to top up items that were running low although one did appear later on once we had almost finished our breakfast.

Deliberately choosing a hotel away from the city centre, this location was perfect. A pleasant half hour stroll into the city along the seafront with a convenient bar stop on the way. The hotel was comfortable & clean with secure parking.

Our only criticism is the lack of a bar area or food options, even a vending machine, to enjoy in the evening before retiring to your room given the hotel's position out of the city centre. No obvious local conveniences nearby.

Property was clean, reception staff were lovely and friendly and the breakfast was great, with lots of choice.

The rails around the pool needed a clean but that’s me being a bit picky and the hotel hadn’t had an update since the day it was built so very dated but like I say, the location was great and the hotel was clean.

Beach front with pool which was lovely , we walked into the town in the evening ,just 30min for restaurants and sight seeing.

One of the receptionists didn’t think they provided towels for the pool and was a bit abrupt telling us to take our towels from bedroom but another receptionist sorted it out.

Clean modern hotel right on sea front. Great breakfast selection.

Little further from centre of town than I realised (my fault for not checking properly) meaning limited local restaurants.. a good 30 minute walk to centre. Would have happily driven to centre but walked 15 minutes before we realised so ate at local Casino restaurant..food reasonable but limited seafood

Hotel is lovely simple place in a wonderful location. Room was clean & of a nice size with comfortable furnishings. Reception staff were great allowing me to check-in early, giving me loads of time to explore La Rochelle Overall, great experience & delighted with the stay

Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient. Bathroom and shower facilities were excellent. AC was excellent also. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The pool may be a bit small and limited for seating however this was not a problem.

Room was large and comfy. Everything was clean and view from room was nice overlooking the bay. We did not have breakfast as we were leaving early. Receptionist was very knowledgeable and friendly, also speaking English. Advised of places to eat if required.

Only downside would be for the hotel to have a bar onsite. But other than that everything was perfect.

It was clean and tidy in all areas. Huge double bed.

We chose this hotel as it had Spa facilities which on B.Com it stated were being up dated as of 28/12, when we arrived 27/12 we were told it was already closed and we couldn’t use it. Very disappointed!!! Tea and coffee was supplied for our overnight stay but no milk!!

Good location, short walk into main centre of town. Great views from the room which all face the beach. Friendly staff. Underground parking for the bike. Clean, comfortable room. Good breakfast choices. There is a gym but we'd have preferred a bar!

No bar or restaurant on site but we knew that when booking, so had a pleasant walk to the main town with lots of eateries. Probably did us good to walk for beer!
