Christophe is an excellent host and provides a super cozy & nice place. You get your own kitchen that has everything you need and can choose what kind of bread & pastries you'd like for breakfast. They are delivered in front of the apartment door each morning at your preferred time. The place is a walking distance away from everything, and there's a nice road of bars nearby at Rue Royale where you can meet friendly people in the evening.

There's no metro station very close by, so if you have issues with walking a few hundred metres to 1km (my guess), you might need to look for some other place.

Good communication with the host. He was very welcoming and friendly. Even helped with my suitcase up the stairs. The location is really close to the old centre, but in a quiet street. I could walk everywhere. Everything was clean! Good shower. Really quaint old building. The room looks out into the calm and cool little court yard (which you were allowed to use). You had your own little kitchen. I did not use the sauna, but I'm sure it would be nice in wintertime. The price was reasonable.

The mattress wasn't too bad, but not great either. Could do with a topper. The pillows were a bit of lumpy and soft. Also a nice addition would be a fan in the room (the weather was hot when I was there!).

Nice and comfortable room. Christophe the host was very friendly and patient. On arriving at the apartment, he explained the facilities thoroughly and there's even a custom made guide to Lille. The room is well decorated and there's plenty of space. We also tried the sauna, which is super comfy. Overall, a very nice place to spend your holiday.

This apartment and the house it’s in are both really special. I felt totally at home in the beautifully decorated space. The absolute highlight? There's even a sauna! I couldn’t recommend this place more. The location is great, and communication with the host was super easy. I’d love to come back!

Christophere was amazing, gentle and very kind. The room is so woody ;-). Very confortable! The place is quite near to everything and in a very nice neightboardhood. I´ll recommend it very much.

The ambience and position in 'Old Lille'

I had difficulty with the spiral staircase access to the first floor room.
