The position of the Hotel is very strategic, 2 minutes walk from the sanctuary and 5 to 10 from the city where you can find shops and restaurants, supermarket is 12 min walk. The staff is very welcoming and friendly (Filipa was lovely) and the hotel itself is modern and well located, the area is safe as well. The mattress is firm which I adored and the room itself is quite spacious with lots of room for luggage, bags and clothes. The bathroom it’s a nice size too with shower/bath which was a bonus for me. The restaurant is nice with a selection of different dishes meat & fish however I can’t recall seeing any vegetarian or vegan options. I had the ink quid pasta with prawns and selection of cheese which I really liked.

The pillows really need to be upgraded as are made of polyester stuffing and has lots of lumps no fluffiness, for a 4 star hotel I would expect to find a feather pillow. Furthermore, it might be good to implement and have available single use slipper for guests comfort and convenience as there were none available. Last but not least complimentary toiletries was a bit poor with only two small hand soap and two sachets for body wash/shampoo.

Great location, very close to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception (must sees are the crypt (St. Bernadette reliquary) and upper basilica which IMHO, has the most vibrant and beautiful stained glass I have seen in Europe and that includes Paris, Rome, Florence, Milan), the Grotto, the fountains and baths. Super front desk staff, on two occasions they kept our bags with no charge. Very modern hotel, large room with excellent toilet facilities one level down. The breakfast was very good. Dinner was excellent, Yannick was our server, he was very friendly, with excellent English. We had the set menu with the trout and the peach melba it was outstanding. Bathroom was very large with modern small pouches of body and hair shower gels.

The bed was quite tight next to the window in Room 618 and the shower towels very thin. Bathtub was a little narrow.

The location was perfect. It was a 10-min walk to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes and Bernadette’s grotto with many cafes and restaurants nearby. There is free parking available but it is a complicated drive and a 15-min walk back to the hotel. You can drop your luggage first. It was raining so we opted for the parking garage across the street. 12 Euro per night, I think. The front desk staff is fantastic. There is a very nice bar off the lobby. The room was well equipped and very clean with maid service every day. We stayed two nights. Highly recommend.

I liked the area where the hotel was located. It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the stuff were very friendly.

The fan didn't function well and I had to open the window. There was some noise early hours of the morning. I was not informed that the accommodation didn't include breakfast. I would have preferred being told before.

Being on the 6th floor gave us the opportunity to open the doors to the terrace at night as there was no air conditioning. The twin beds were comfortable after long days of walking about. The shower had strong pressure and the tub was deep enough to melt away the achy muscles of the day! The staff was very pleasant. The Saint Joseph entrance to Lourdes sanctuary was mere steps away.

The overnight parking was down the hill and several streets away. You can park in front of the hotel for 15 minutes to unload the baggage. The walk back to the hotel is about 20 minutes, depending on which way you return (up & over the hill or around; next to the gate of St. Joseph). It’s not that we didn’t like it, we just want people to be aware of the parking if mobility is a concern.

The staff Monique was very helpful. Our room was adequate with supplies. With the super hot weather, our room was already cold when we checked in which helped us cool down after a 5 hour drive. The accommodation is 2 minutes walk to Lourdes Sanctuary and shops and eatery. They even gave us a welcome drink. Highly recommended and would stay here again. Parking on the street was free as well.

The location is amazing! So close to the shrine, great if you like to break up the day by going back to your room. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast is very good.

Air conditioning is desperate! Rooms were extremely hot. It is regulated by reception, whom you have to contact to turn on and off. It did not work in two of the three rooms we had booked. We flagged this with reception, and they advised us to open the windows and the door. However, this was not feasible.

Breakfast was perfect and exactly what you need where you are. We had an amazing server for dinner on the first night of our stay and he also served us in the bar the next day and evening. He was very friendly and accommodating. The location is amazing and right beside the main areas.

There is a lack of pillows in the room, the pillows are very thin and you only get one so I would have liked the option of more being available in the wardrobe.

1 Breakfast: not clear guidance in the hall, where is allowed to sit - some tables are reserved with names. Poor choice. Nobody to ask at the entrance 2 Parking - is quite far from hotel. Due to multiple processions that cause sudden and unclear shortages of roads and one-way streets - can be really problematic to get with car back to the hotel
