We booked this hotel very last minute after our airbnb cancellation and for 61€ during summer high season, we are super grateful to find this hotel. It's a very basic hotel, you get what you paid for. I think they've went through several renovation recently so it seems well-built and unlike what I read in review, the hotel was actually quite clean. They are dog friendly and parking wasn't an issue here. Furthermore, if you come by car, it's not too far from Caen city, the beach and there are a lot of restaurants just 5mins drive away! Overall happy with this hotel.

Bathroom was quite small & there's only 1 electrical plug in the closet.

For a 2* hotel, it was fantastically clean, excellent price, 3 miles from the ferry and eurostar tunnel, and an excellent restaurant literally opposite the entrance gate. Ample power points in the room for phones, hearing aids, tablets, and other things you need to charge. Hotel in very quiet area, so lovely peaceful night's sleep.

Towels were a tad small, and no kettle or hair dryer in the rooms. Mind you, not sure I'd drink the water.

Depends on what you're expecting. The hotel is on the southern outskirts of Caen near a lorry park, so not a scenic experience but convenient for main road links. You need GPS to find it, particularly at night. The front desk is manned until 2100, thereafter you put your surname into the machine and it distributes your room key. The hotel offers double, twin and single rooms with or without breakfast. The room was smallish but entirely adequate and clean, ditto for the bathroom. The breakfast was simple but fine. The manager was helpful and pleasant.

Good value for money, the lady at reception was helpful & spoke good english. Clean room

Location on industrial estate, outside of the building could do with a coat of paint. ( The Room was clean, and for the price you can't really complain about anything )

Hotel was easy to find, staff very friendly and room clean and comfortable. Excellent restaurant next door to hotel, with very good value meals.

Entrance door to rooms not practical as when person in adjoining room entered or exited there was lots of noise. Also other guests were very noisy.

Very welcoming and helpful receptionist; the room was very comfortable and breakfast was available very early in the morning (important for travelling a long distance in daylight).

The outside door had a problem with hinges and didn't close or open easily when going in or out. (The inner door was secure and closed/opened correctly.)

The room was spacious, with good lighting. It was good to have the hanging space separately for wet coats. The bed was big and comfortable, as were the pillows.

Nothing. The car park entry sign could be more obvious, it was a little tricky to see in the dark.

Access, easy for travellers like ourselves. The room was quiet , the beds comfortable. And the receptionist was empathetic and helpful. So we’ll B hotels again
