The hotel was excellent. All of the staff were helpful and very friendly from the welcome we received to check-out. The food was superb. There was a very nice breakfast buffet which was replenished throughout the morning. The 4 course dinner in the evening was exceptional. There were two speciality evenings which we thoroughly enjoyed. The was plenty of choice on the cheese board. There was the option to change the menu if there was something that did not appeal to you but we never did. The room was very comfortable and we had a fabulous view. The facilities were great and there was a lovely garden area to sit in. The hotel was situated next to the lift to Avoriaz and to the bus stop for the free shuttle bus into Morzine. A perfect holiday.

a fantastic location next to the Prodains gondola so we were only minutes away from the centre of Avoriaz where the skiing was excellent. The hospitality at the hotel was great and the food was delicious, we had amazing meals, although it was a set menu and it would have been good to have a choice for those who may have preferred other options (although alternatives were provided if ordered in advance)

We had a triple room and a little more storage for clothes would have been useful, also an area to dry out wet clothes would have been helpful - but these are just minor points and didn't affect our stay

Wonderful boutique hotel run by a lovely family, warm, cosy, accommodating, great breakfast, fabulous 4 course evening meals, food was delicious, Chef incredible - needs a Michelin star! Perfect location 4min walk to The Prodains cable car to Avoriaz, ski rental shop and bars at bottom of the slopes. Ski-in-ski out also an option depending on snow conditions plus easy bus access into Morzine.

The property was spotless. Great staff and the food was some of the best I have ever tasted. 4 course dinner every night and the cheese board is a highlight. Great location, 2 min walk from the bottom of the gondola lift that takes you straight into the centre of Avoriaz. Already looking to book our trip for next year. Thank you for being such great hosts, your hotel and hospitality is beautiful.

We loved everything. Thank you for making our pre Christmas trip so special. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Always smiling. Made you feel so at home and welcome. Best hotel we’ve ever stayed in which is all down to the staff. Amazing food. Great facilities. 10/10 service. So attentive. We were a group of 8 adults and 1 toddler.

It was my second stay at the Hotel des Prodains and the experience was much the same as the first time. There is a warm welcome and comfortable rooms. The food is excellent. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the bottom station of the Prodains lift, so access to the ski area is easy.

Booking.com charged for two-person occupancy despite my travelling solo. Would have been half the price if I had booked directly with the hotel.

Amazing family run hotel with superb food and where the staff couldn’t do enough to help out. Took account of all our dietary requirements. Next to a ski lift that works in summer and allows ready access to walking and other sporting activities

The WiFi is a bit iffy but not a major issue if you want to get away from it for a while

Although we had 4 days of rain the hotel made our stay close to perfect. the Kitchen is amazing and the staff are superfriendly - would highly recommend this hotel to everyone! We travelled with 2 small children (1 & 4) and every day they checked in with us ahead of time what the preferred menu/dish would be for the 4-yr old - a touch that made us feel so welcome. it was even prepared ahead of kitchen opening hours so it was better aligned for him. amazing!

No WiFi on the room (not a problem as it was a holiday however something to take into account)

We loved the breakfast with the many homemade offers! We also liked a lot the location that is very close to the skiing lift.

We did not like too much the ski rental store (sport 2000) that cooperates with the hotel and where you get 20% discount when you stay at the hotel. We also expected the spa area to be bigger (there is only one small sauna and one jacuzzi) and that it would be open until later in the evening (open only from 5 to 7pm).

Absolutely amazing hotel, and very accommodating. They were overbooked when we stayed, so we were kindly put up in the residences next door which was beautiful. The food was unbelievably good. Chef was incredible - needs a Michelin star! Lovely family run hotel, warm, cosy, accommodating, great breakfast, definitely exceeded our expectations. Ski-in-ski out was fabulous too, great location at the bottom of Les Prodains lift up into Avoriaz ski area, and easy bus access into Morzine.

The only down side would be there wasn't the most varied number of options of food for vegetarians. They were very accommodating and offered alternatives each night, but usually entailed of omelette/egg-based and not matching the standard of the meat options. That said, they did produce some amazing salads and always ensured we were happy with our food. Overall, the food was incredible.
