The hotel is very central in Morzine. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. I was able to obtain a single occupancy room, something that is unusual in a ski resort. For those who are interested, there are bookable spa facilities on the lower ground floor and an on-sight bar, named the 19.38, after the year the hotel was first opened. Whilst the breakfast menu was very good, with daily 'specials', the four course evening dinner was excellent and of gourmet standard. In short, Hotel Le Samoyede is a great place to stay.

I have nothing to add as, from my perspective and requirements, the hotel provided everything I needed.

The staff were absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough for me. I really enjoyed my stay the hotel which is perfectly situated in the middle of town with easy access to both the Pleney and Super Morzine lifts. Breakfast is nice with hot options each morning. I didn't dine in each out night as had friends in town though was advised later in the week that I could have invited them to dinner. Will do this the next time as the guests mentioned that dinner was excellent.

I stayed in the single room which was small (as expected) but ok for what I wanted to use it for. Only issue was that the window looked out into a space between the adjoining building and cigarette smoke wafted up into my room from time to time.

We had a truly excellent stay at Hotel Le Samoyede. The service was exceptional. We arrived several hours early prior to check in and the reception staff readily welcomed us to our room early. All the staff were friendly, approachable and truly wanted to see you enjoyed your stay. I injured myself skiing on my last day at the hotel and the reception staff went above and beyond to help book private transfers back to the airport and serve meals in the room while I had limited mobility. The meals at the hotel were excellent, especially the dinners. We weren’t expecting Michelin grade food but we had it each and every night with full board. Dinner was 6 courses every night and without fail excellent food and service. Breakfast has a good selection including custom made specials each morning. The room was large, warm, modern and comfortable with plenty of storage space for longer stays. There was a ski locker with individual lockers for safe and conventions storage of skis. The hotel was very conveniently located to access both the ski slopes to Avoriaz and Les Gets, a short walk to Super Morzine and Plenery lifts and a 10 minute free bus ride to Prodaines. We will be recommending Hotel Le Samoyede to our friends and will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for an excellent stay.

I cannot fault this hotel

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we had an amazing time. The staff are lovely, everyone of them went out of their way to speak to you every day The food is unbelievable, different level, it’s a set menu every day but if you didn’t like something, they would accommodate….the best way to describe it was fine dining Location, centre of the town with a 5 minute walk to two ski lifts The spa was a lovely touch and just what you needed after a day on the slopes! We can’t thank the team enough and we will definitely be back

The most central location possible, staff is super helpful and friendly, clean, air conditioning. I mostly liked staying there even though the negative part might be bigger than positive. Delicious omelette for breakfast

I had the smallest room and IT IS REALLY SMALL approximately 2x5m including bathroom, so check carefully your reservation. The breakfast is very basic, everything is tasty but it might be not the buffet you're used to.

A very comfortable hotel in an ideal location. A delicious selection at breakfast and very helpful staff. The addition of a room to store a bike was also very useful.

The only thing that could be improved was if the cleaners could lock the door after cleaning my room. Everyday I would lock the door before leaving and return to find it unlocked. This is the only thing I would improve!

All the people at the front desk were exceptionally helpful to us. Our baggage was lost at the airport but they gladly made phone calls for us as we do not speak French. They even drove to a tech store 5 km away to purchase a SIM card for our phone. We are truly grateful for such outstanding service. Also, the hotel is beautiful with authentic wood interiors and decorating. Excellent breakfast!

Excellent location, friendly and smiling staff, free public covered parking (summer) 80 m from the hotel, lockable room for bikes.

Quite a small room for three men, but this is common in the French Alps. Bathroom and toilet separate, which is good, however small. Breakfast was fluffy and tasty, scrambled eggs were excellent, but the choice quite narrow. Six days in a row the same thing every day. Too bad there were no vegetables, no pancakes, no famous French pâté... Most of the nights noisy outside on the main square until early morning hours, close your windows :-)

The kitchen…hotel’s restaurant above expectations! Delicious food and perfect staff! Also as an all staff in this hotel! Spa facilities are amazing! By the way, rooms are completely comfortable, location also very nice- close to the cable cabin station and shopping area. Two steps to bus stop to Avoriaz.

Completely beautiful! I was not expecting such a wonderful stay. Every detail was looked after including having your own locker for equipment and hot air dryers for your boots. The food was spectacular and staff were completely lovely. THANK YOU for a wonderful stay.
