We had a one-day layover in Paris, and Dandy Hotel & Kitchen was the perfect choice. The hotel is located in central Paris, close to one of the city’s largest metro and RER hubs (Les Halles), which also features a large shopping forum with many restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel itself is excellent. The reception staff were very welcoming, and the waiters and bartender at the hotel restaurant were wonderful hosts, offering beautifully presented and delicious food at affordable prices. We were also pleasantly surprised by the spacious rooms — much larger than what you typically expect in Paris. The price was very reasonable compared to other four-star hotels (though, like most of Paris, hotel prices in general can be high). Overall, Dandy Hotel & Kitchen offers great comfort, excellent service, and a perfect location — highly recommended if you are visiting Paris or passing through on a short stay.

The hotel is centrally located, a few steps away from the Louvre, Notre Dame and other major attractions. It is very nice, well-kept in detail, in full Parisian style. The rooms are very clean, well-kept in style and decoration. The staff is very kind and professional. In general, the hotel is run by young staff who know how to make you feel at ease. The food is very good. In addition to breakfast, I had dinner several evenings in the hotel restaurant. In particular, the chef was very kind in making the necessary arrangements for some food allergies. He was available to prepare a special breakfast to meet this need. In general, I had a positive and pleasant experience. I will definitely return when I am again in Paris.

The ambience of the hotel. The location is super convenient. Within walking distance to everywhere! We have enjoyed walking to left bank, Le Marais, the Lourve. Chatlet is just two blocks away, making the transit super convenient.

Nothing really. The chrome cast in our room didn’t work properly but who would want to watch Netflix when you got the whole Paris at your doorsteps to explore.

The location was fantastic, the decor and design were bang on and the staff was absolutely INCREDIBLE!

Our room was much smaller than it looked online. There wasn’t even enough room for 2 suitcases and 2 carry-on luggage. We had to be extremely organized and take out only what we needed each day otherwise we had no room to move around.

I love how the property is tucked between everything. And foot steps away from the Chatelet Les Halles metro station. And very convenient from the CDG airport. Check in is a breeze. The property is very clean, Guest service employees are very nice and helpful. And housekeeping keeps up with the request for room cleaning and your needs. There is a luggage hold for early arrivals, and a bathroom to freshen up. They also give two complimentary bottles of good water upon arrival.

No complaints whatsoever.

Very helpful staff when we checked in and our room was ready earlier so we could go straight up at approx 1:30pm. Lovely rooms and great air con (much needed), lovely decor in the rooms, very tastefully done. Small breakfast selection but very tasty. I would have loved more fruit selection (only one per day) but still very pleasant. And in a super location too, near the train station, great cafes and restaurants, walking distance to The Louvre. Will definitely go back.

It would have been great to have had more fruit options at breakfast. Also given the heat there were a lot of fruit flies buzzing around the food and landing on the raisins, dried apricots and fruit juice

Loved my stay here, staff at the bar were friendly. I enjoyed a few wines there. Location was great. The shower was great, lovely big shower which was much needed after walking the city all day.

The only bad thing was getting there or leaving via Uber, on the day of my departure, you have to walk a little bit with luggage to get to a pick up point.

The breakfast was very good the first day. The second day there was no coffee and the selection was not as fresh or plentiful as the first day. The staff were very accommodating.

The room was much smaller than expected. Advertised as having a small balcony, but there was none accessible. There was no ventilation in the room and it was quite hot and stuffy. We tried to open the window, but it wouldn't stay open without putting something down to keep it open. Consequently it was very hard to sleep.

The hotel is located on Rue Saint Denis, which is an ancient road that runs north to south and bisects Paris into its western and eastern part - this means the location is as central as it gets. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, and the cleanliness was exceptional. The room and the adjoining bathroom were adequately sized. The room is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities which were top-notch. All in all a very pleasant stay.

I can only raise one issue here: the lack of surfaces in the room. Our room had one low shelf which was occupied by the tea and coffee making machine and accessories, and two tiny bedside tables - which meant there were hardly any surfaces on which to lay any of our belongings. Adding some more surfaces (perhaps another shelf or two) would make an enormous difference.

Great location for the hotel. Very nice staff, nice bar and restaurant on the lobby.

Rooms are small, and overpriced for what you get. Some overlook another building/wall so you have a view of pipes. Image attached.
