The room was clean and comfortable; newly decorated, we would say. It would have been nice to have a stool in addition to the chair (two chairs would not have fitted). It was a short walk from the Denfert Rochereau metro station, and the RER to Charles de Gaulle airport was only a few hundred metres further away. There are plenty of bars and restaurants on Rue Daguerre. We particularly recommend Chez Colette, just on the next corner. It's run by a Franco-Irish couple who are very friendly. The Post Office is next door, with helpful staff.

We would have preferred to have glasses to drink from rather than the paper cups supplied.

Location - good transport links, good selection of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Price - cheaper than many other hotels nearby. If you don’t have much expectation and just want a cheap but comfortable place to stay, this is a good choice.

Not much, I didn’t hear much noise unlike other reviewers said. I would have given it 10/10 if there is a kettle, air conditioner and a mini fridge!

We like the location, easy to reach. From and to CDG with RER B was simple. Many option to Paris sightseeing by Metro or Bus. A lot of nice cafe, Boulangerie and restaurant, and walking distance to Creperie Josselin ❤️ Thank to the review . They clean the room everyday, changes the towels daily (which is not necessary for us) means room always clean when we comeback from exploring Paris. Room 401 facing the garden so it was quite. Overall we had a great experience to stay at Denfert-Montparnasse.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The location was very lively, with loads of restaurants, bakeries and cute, little shops. The hotel had a cat, which was also very sweet. Overall we liked the view and the room.

The bathtub was a bit dirty/used. I wouldn‘t take a bath in it, taking a shower was okay though. The rooms were appropriate for the price, not to small, not too big!

The location is great , near all means of transpo. Restaurants, cafes and shops are just nearby. We truly had relaxing and enjoyed our stay. The lady at the reception is friendly and helpful- I would say it’s a plus.

There’s a creaky noise opening and closing the door but it’s manageable. Maybe just a minor adjustment of the door lock.

Perfect if you need a room for sleeping and showering. On our first day, it was extremely warm but the wide windows and ceiling fan saved us from being baked in the room. Great location with loads of restaurants and pastry shops around. Close to metro stations. Nicely busy and not very crowded area. Cheap enough compared to other hotels given that it's the middle of the Olympics.

Wish there was a kettle for morning cofee/tea.

The hotel is a classical small hotel, no AirBnB no big chain, which is exactly what we wanted. The room and bathroom were not big, but it was clean and all we needed and expected. The hotel has a nice small 1st floor terrace in the courtyard, where we read and chatted in the evening. The location is excellent - the immediate and wider surroundings are wonderful to explore, with small shops, cafés, restaurants, etc. in the small side roads - all the way to Gare Montparnasse, which is not too far away and where we continued the journey next morning by TGV. I would recommend it also for longer stays in Paris.

The hotel was very central, located in a lovely area with nice shops, bakeries and restaurants. Plenty of public transport options at a short distance. The staff at the reception were extremely helpful and kind. We got excellent and very honest room rates for a week stay considering it was beginning of August and the week of the Olympics.

Great location with different underground stops around that allow you to reach the differnt part of the city, super friendly staff always happy to help you, good level of clean. All around the hotel a lot of shops and restaurants for your breakfast and meal.

In general nothing bad to say about the accommodation; the size of room and bathroom was standard; maybe not suitable for long stay.

The room was small but had everything we needed, highly recomended for backpackers and easy travellers, since it is very close to metro nr 4 that takes you almost everywhere. It's also located in a street filled with restaurant, boulangeries and everything you might need.

The roome needs some renewals, and could be a little noisy, but nothing really unfixable.
