This is very sweet and authentic hotel, nicely located, very close to Montparnasse but in a calm street without noise. At 50m from the hotel, there is a street with many French bakeries, shops selling French pastry or cheese which is very convenient. The staff is very, very kind and the rooms are very clean. The beds are super confortable.

The only thing I didnt like is the size of the room. I stayed in a single room, which was VERY small. I think I have never in my life been in such a small hotel room. People affalraid of small spaces should look carefully when booking and opt for a bigger room. Also, there was bad smell coming from the bathroom.

Nice and quiet hotel in the 14th district, close to several metro stations. You can get to the hotel by train from/to CDG airport in ~an hour. The rooms are located in the courtyard, so it is quiet and pleasant there. At the entrance to each room there is a table with chairs, where you can sit nicely on a warm evening. Bed linen and towels were changed every day. The bed was comfortable and with several pillows. Breakfast was good and varied enough. The coffee machine offered all the most popular types of coffee. The room is small, but well-planned. It has a small fridge, safe, suitcase rack and electric kettle. The staff was friendly and responsive. The area seemed safe and there was no feeling of insecurity when moving around in the evenings. I definitely recommend this nice hotel!

Definitely 10 out of 10 for the staff at reception. Absolutely great and helpful about anything you need. They even let us check in a bit earlier and leave our luggage ( as we were arriving in Paris from long trip from South France and were exhausted). The room is cozy, just a bit small. But there is a nice open space you can sit in. The 14th area is a new and very nice and safe area. The hotel is close to a lot of nice bakeries, even a night open shop nearby. A bit far from the attractions, but very calm.

The room is cozy, but a bit small, which is fair for Paris considering the tight space in most hotels. You can’t control the room temperature-set to 24 degrees, which was a bit chilly at some point- very strong fan. The hotel is really calm, just one of the mornings the maintenance staff was cutting wooden boards downstairs for the kitchen which woke us up. It wasn’t extremely early in the morning- around 10am, but after all the cross country travel with 6am flights and trains, needed some days to recharge a bit.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hôtel Clairefontaine in Paris!! The location was perfect. Quiet, close to Rue Daquerre, which has great shops and restaurants. Close to transit and the metro making it so easy to get around. The beds were super comfy. Great AC and a window to the street. Not to mention the teraasse where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine! Also very friendly staff to help you with your plans. Merci beaucoup!!!

The room was a bit small with limited space to put things. But we knew this ahead of time and managed to make it work just fine. Pas de probleme.

The location is great if using Gare Montparnasse. The 14th is a new area and I was impressed as to how local it is; quite refreshing especially on rue Daquerre. A real discovery for me after decades of staying in Le Marais of St Germain. Breakfast was slightly disappointing. It had advertised using local artisan bakers et al but apart from a baguette all was standard down to the Bonne Maman jam. Also, while having the courtyard is a plus in terms of light and air, allowing guests to smoke out there meant crossing a Smokey area to access my room.

Duration: Family of 7 with 3 rooms for 8 days. Check In: Check-in was very easy and they recommended some local places to visit. Rooms: We had 2 triple rooms and 1 double room. The double room was a bit on the small side but comfortable. The triple rooms were quite large, beautifully decorated with AC and a large window for fresh air. The bathrooms were also very clean, had good hot water and a hair dryer. Staff: The hotel had a very attentive manager (Benjamin) who took care of all the small details. Reception always greeted you with a smile, a good morning and a good afternoon. The cleaning staff were quiet and were always attending to your room on a daily basis. Breakfast: Fresh and plentiful. They would get fresh baguettes from a local bakery, different types of coffees and teas were available and there was a good selection of pastries, cold cuts, and fresh cheese. Location: The hotel is located in the Montparnasse district on a quiet and Pleasant Street with many local markets in the area. I would 1000% recommend this hotel for anyone looking to travel to Paris.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Clairefontaine. One of the highlights was the exceptional service provided by Radjaa at the concierge. He truly went the extra mile for us—always kind, helpful, and available whenever we needed advice or practical help. Whether it was booking a taxi or helping us carry our luggage down from the second floor (as the hotel doesn’t have a lift), he made our stay much easier and more comfortable. His support really made a difference, and we’re very grateful!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is very clean, well-maintained, and in an excellent location—perfect for exploring Paris. The room was ready upon arrival, already cooled with air conditioning, which was such a relief during the hot summer days. Everything was comfortable and thoughtfully prepared, making my stay both relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay again.

Our 2nd visit & this is still a very comfy, convenient, good value hotel in the pleasant Montparnasse area of Paris. Many restaurants nearby. Attractive tiled inner courtyard. Varied & abundant breakfast (a bit more fruit perhaps?) Friendly helpful staff. Fresh clean linen, comfortable mattress & pillows, decent shower. Our room on 1st floor this time was spacious. Just a few maintenance issues which need attention but otherwise it was all fine.

The facilities are very accommodating for a city like Paris. The staff are all very nice, professional, welcoming and helpful.
