Location and breakfast are excellent with nice friendly staff.

I have never expected room 55 is walking stair 2 floors from 3rd floor elevator, it is quite narrow stair which I am scaring to drop down easily, especially once I need to carry my big heavy luggage from room to downstairs 2 floors. Moreover, on Sunday I asked the front desk staff to call Taxi for me but as Marathon, after waiting 18 min. and no taxi coming, he just informed that sorry we cannot get taxi. If he informed me that we cannot get taxi since beginning, I will try to go by subway or others. Finally I missed the tour (no refund money).

Great location, very friendly staff, very comfortable bed, brilliant shower.

The size of the room. Having seen via my searches for a hotel in France I could see a lot of the hotels had the double bed up against the wall, which I do not like. I therefore picked this hotel as the room on show did not have the bed against the wall, booking a superior room. We were given a very small room with the bed against the wall as there was simply no space to have it any other way. I did ask for another room but there were none available, we were given complimentary breakfast as a result, but for booking a superior room it was very disappointing. We did not use the ‘bar’ as it is not really a bar, a few drinks provided as an honesty bar but very limited choice.

Great facilities, very modern, really comfortable bed and for similar prices in Paris, the room had a pretty good size. Good breakfast and very nice staff. Outside my room there was a small internal terrace which I found nice and useful.

They have a good location in theory but it is on a very narrow, dark street and is a 15min walk to the subway (madeleine station). As my room was a duplex it was very uncomfortable to have to go up/down the snail-like stairs to use the bathroom (bed on top flor, bath on low flow). Lighting in the room was very low also, difficult to get ready at night or work.

Safe and great location. Walking distance to the most sights. The staff were really kind and helpful anytime. Everyday cleanliness worth mentioning. The breakfast offers good quality food with good variety, but if you are late for breakfast maybe you will not have many options of food to eat. Regarding the room.. the heating was really nice, the only “problem” was the size. We found superior room a bit small. But, the overall experience was really good.

Great bathroom, with 2 taps. You can choose from 2 pillows (however imho both are too low, but naturally it is a matter of taste). Tea making facility in the room. Really very calm and quiet (while it is in the centre of Paris) - and I am ultra sensitive about this.

No power plug in the bathroom - it is very good that there is hairdryer, but how should you use it without a power plug? Or where there is a power plug, there is no mirror. I can confirm that their cappuccino is really very bad; the worst in our 8 days trip even in France (and the French can't make good cappuccino). It is very rare that I have problem with the breakfast, but in case of this hotel I had: this hotel is very expensive even without breakfast, and the breakfast is another expensive item - so I waited outstanding for this money; but it is average. On a scale of a metropolis it is very close to the centre - but it means that it is a relevant suitcase dragging on the streets.

The hotel was very good, the room I got was spacious and beautiful. Wifi worked well. Staff was very polite and receptive.

They shifted from plastic water bottles to reusable glass bottles during my stay. Although this is good for sustainability purposes, the housekeeping was not refilling by bottles, so I had everyday to take the two (quite heavy) glass bottles downstairs to ask for refil. During my stay some maintenance staff was sent to my room without my authorization or notice to fix the blinds. Not only they didn't fix it at first (when I opened it a tape came down from the ceiling, so another gentleman came back on the following day) but they also moved some of the furniture and didn't put it back in place - when I got back to the room, it looked like someone had broke into it to be honest. Breakfast was very mediocre.

Loved the location, the room was small but cosy! The breakfast was also incredible and the staff were helpful in helping us with public transport.

The main train/metro line close to us was shut for the month of August, during our stay. It made us feel extra out of the way in regards to public transport but this is something out of the hotels hands. Everything else was great!!

Absolutely recommend Hôtel du Ministère for coming tourists! The room is a bit small, but very modern and comfortable. The staff is very kind and the facilities are great. The location is nice, it's close to Champs Elysees and there's a metro station less than 10 min walk away. I would definitely come back here.
