This hotel was such a great place to call home-base during our stay in Paris. The room was very clean and modern, it was easy to get around (close to train stops, rental bikes, and main roads), and the staff were all so incredibly pleasant and helpful. The elevator was a nice bonus, too, as some people in our tour groups said they had to walk up a few flights to their room in other hotels. We only woke up early enough to have breakfast in the hotel once (we were so tired from all our activities!), but it was very tasty. I would absolutely stay here again next time we visit, and I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great deal!

Not that I "didn't like" it, but I would have loved having even a small refrigerator in the room to store drinks and snacks we bought. I'm not sure if that's common for France/Europe, so maybe none of the hotels have them. The front desk staff was nice enough to store one or two items for us. I also wasn't 100% sure of the laundry situation before arriving - the hotel informed me they have a laundry service available, but it ended up being quite expensive (charged per item) and would have taken 72 hours for clothes to be returned. There was a laundromat nearby, but I didn't want to sit for hours waiting for it to be done, so we had to improvise and purchase a few more items. Next time, I will just pack more clothes!

The staff were fantastic. So welcoming. Homemade biscuits on arrival. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice; continental (cheese is fabulous and parma ham, salami), hot breakfast too, fruits & yoghurt, fabulous coffee and hot chocolate, loose leaf teas of many kinds in little coloured teapots, pancakes and syrup you make yourself, breds, pastries...all set out and maintained with care. Long breakfast from early until mid-morning. Our room (with a bath) was beautiful; Nespresso coffee machine, sparking water wherever you want it, lovely spaces to relax and so quiet. The toiletries smell fabulous too. Handcream and bodywash/shampoo in every room. And the rooms are spotless. Everything is in perfect condition. The location was brilliant. We loved walking out, both day and night, into a lively neighbourhood with lots to look at. We walked to 2eme and 1eme, up to Montmartre. We walked everywhere. But there are buses and Metro too. A fabulous place with fabulous staff and guests from all over the world to chat to.

A lovely and quiet hotel, beautifully designed. We stayed there for a week with our 12-year-old daughter and received a comfortable suite on the fifth floor, with privacy for the child. The hotel is located on a small street in a lively and multicultural area, with a very wide variety of restaurants at reasonable prices.

The alley where the hotel is located is not clean. It’s not the hotel’s fault, but there were times when it didn’t feel pleasant. However, during the week, workers arrived and began closing off the area beneath the arch at one end of the street to prevent homeless people from sleeping and urinating there.

Customer service is the priority at this hotel, and the hotel staff went above and beyond to gracefully accommodate my concerns, needs, and preferences. I'd booked a room on the top floor, and the elevator was out of order. No problem. I can manage stairs. Unfortunately, the heater in my room was also broken, and the hotel supplied me with a portable heater, but other issues soon arose with the booked accommodations. In the end, the staff kindly moved me to another room on the same floor, which exceeded my expectations and ensured that my comfort was their priority. The bed was comfy, the pillows were perfect, and I enjoyed the slippers and robe as well. Thanks to the awareness of the staff and their willingness to accommodate, my stay in Paris was absolutely lovely and very affordable.

I'm coming to Paris regularly and always I have change hotels as wasn't happy with size of the room, service, location and especially with breakfast. After this stay I believe I have found the hotel which is perfect for me. Hotel is relatively small which I see as advantage. Location is great 200m from metro, 200m from nice street with bars and restaurants and delicatessen shops. The best I have enjoyed was the breakfast, not too huge variety but everything was there and quality was excellent for Paris (the best I had so far). Room was ok not too big, but according Paris standard very good, clean and had all you need for multi day visit. Staff was very helpful and pleasant and answered on all our questions. I will definitely come back!

Only had some mild concerns about safety of neighbourhood during late night, but we were not on the streets after 1am. In regards to hotel and generally all no any issue.

It's a very cute hotel and the staffs were great. We also enjoyed the breakfast there.

Sadly, the location wasn't the greatest. Entrance to the hotel is through an ally. It's a decent size ally, but the pissed smell was pretty strong when we checked in. I'm not sure if folks like to pee there at night since it's an ally or could be dogs that have peed when they walk by with their owners. My son and I did bump our heads coming out from the bathroom a few times due to the low slanted roof.....I'm 5'3". Our room was on the very top floor.

The hotel was beautifully designed with attention to detail. Breakfast was a great way to start the day, featuring some delicious local products. The location was convenient, and the staff were helpful.

While the location was quite convenient, at times it felt a bit unsafe. On most of the evenings, we had to walk past a group of suspicious-looking individuals loitering just meters from the hotel—some were throwing trash around, and on one occasion, someone was even urinating nearby

The hotel was lovely. Very clean and pleasant. Bed was comfortable. Our room was small but very nice. The hotel decor and vibe is really cool too. The staff were super nice and helpful.

We did not love the overall area where the hotel is located. The AC was not amazing - not bad but not amazing (just to clarify - we come from a hot country and are used to AC blasting us directly in our faces; AC in the hotel was more subtle). Other than that we liked everything.

The hotel and staff were very accommodating and lovely. They gave us a great introduction into Arthur Rimbaud and the theme of the room perfectly matched this. I would say anyone looking for a lovely clean, and private hotel close to transport links with the added bonus of a bit hostory should go stay.

The room was a little smaller than expected but I think this is somewhat typical for boutique hotels. But the bed and bathroom were both comfortable and very clean respectfully. The elevator was a little unreliable but that was such a minor issue it was easily ignored when you had such a gem of a hotel.

Perfectly located hotel. Few minutes walk to 2ème arr. shopping and restaurants. From there lovely walk to the Notre- Dame and Louvre. Nice and varied breakfast. Reception team is very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for the welcome cookie! My room was on the first floor and was quite quiet while facing the alley street. The room was charming, and tastefully designed with poetic quotes. Drinking water is included in the glass carafe and very thoughtful during hot summer days!
