The location was ideal and we used the shuttle that was convenient. Upon arrival we were informed of the available facilities and we dined at the hotel restaurant, which was reasonable.

The shuttle was very good but it was limited by 5-6 persons. Perhaps difficult to know that there is a place guaranteed.

After having our return flight cancelled, with no options but to wait 2 days for a replacement, we were assigned accommodation via easy jet. The accommodation was horrendous. A short search on booking.com revealed the Van Der Valk CDG, and what a God send it was. As a lone parent with twin boys, (both of whom have additional needs), we needed a calm, clean safe space, and the van der Valk was that and more. It was like an oasis, (literally and emotionally) during a highly stressful, frightening and uncertain time. The hotel is truly beautiful, and the staff are the most warm, helpful, empathetic and welcoming people we’d met throughout our trip, especially the ladies on reception. When they heard of our difficulties, they went above and beyond to ensure my boys and I had everything they needed. Nothing was too much trouble. I really can’t praise the staff enough. I’d say they are the pinnacle of the sector, true professionals and I can’t thank them enough. Staff aside, the hotel is truly amazing. With its bamboo enclosed restaurant and koi pond, it’s shared spaces are calm and peaceful. The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was luxurious and spacious. Due to anxiety, the children would not venture out side of the hotel, which was not a problem at all given the high standard of the accommodation. During our stay we made several requests, and all were attended to quickly and without question. In all, although I had not planned the stay, I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. Thank you Van Der Valk CDG, you are a life saver!

The airport location is not what I’d ever choose, but this definitely serves a practical purpose. The fact that several flight crews checked in while we were there says it all!

The facilities are great. The staff was very welcoming and polite. The hotel is very beautiful from the inside! Its location near the airport is perfect for a one night layover. If you’re debating whether you should book your trip with or without breakfast: think no more. The breakfast is absolutely incredible: it’s one of the best breakfast buffet I ever had around the world! There are plenty of high quality products, both sweet & salty. Besides, I have been upgraded to one of their nez rooms: they’re great!

During the day, starting 8am until 7pm, there was a lot of noise. Even if at night it was quiet, it’s not ideal for someone who might suffer from jet lag and want to take a quick nap in the afternoon… I think they are renovating the hotel, that may be why. Also, some people mentioned it in the reviews, be careful about the shuttle service: it works on a first-arrived first-served basis. They will drop you off at terminal 2B, so if you’re going to another one you’ll to walk. I didn’t mind, but it can be quite a lot of walking if you’re carrying lots of luggage.

This was a family party of 5, in three rooms (additional room booked last minute). We had dinner with 2 additional family members. The staff (checking, bar, dinner, breakfast) were exceptionally efficient and friendly. The three rooms (recently refurbished) were above expectations: space, equipment, cleanliness, and silence. The restaurant, situated in the gigantic hotel atrium, has enough space to allow for good privacy. The menu is very interesting because it allows for a wide choice between simple plates and more sophisticated ones. Everybody was happy. Many thanks to the staff.

During Paris Fashion Week, I found myself needing a last-minute place to stay while waiting for my airline to arrange a flight back home. With city-center hotel prices skyrocketing, I looked for a more reasonable option near the airport—and I’m so glad I found this hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Kim and Coralyne at the front desk. Both were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. They immediately made me feel like I had come to the right place. I booked a Deluxe Room—the hotel’s newly renovated category—and according to them, I was among the first guests to experience it. The room was nothing short of amazing: extremely spacious, comfortable, and inviting. The walk-in shower was huge, and everything from the layout to the finishing touches was top quality. Honestly, it was a big (and pleasant) surprise for an airport hotel, which usually caters to quick overnight stays. The comfort and functionality of the room, combined with the outstanding service from the entire team—including the breakfast staff and the bar/lounge—made my unplanned stay feel smooth and enjoyable, even as I waited for my flight home. Another big plus: the hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport terminals. This made transportation incredibly easy and hassle-free, which is a major advantage when dealing with flight changes or tight schedules.

A small note for improvement: the vegan options at the hotel were quite limited. Whether at breakfast, room service, or the bar, I struggled to find something suitable. Although the staff did try to help and were clearly eager to assist, they seemed a bit unprepared to handle vegan dietary needs. In a major city like Paris, and especially in a hotel serving such a diverse international clientele, I believe it’s time to step up in this area and offer more plant-based options.

The staff were amazing! From the free shuttle pick up driver to the check in staff. The shuttle driver was a jolly man who had a positive attitude. The check in staff were friendly and gave my boys food to feed the Koi fish in the lobby. The lobby was beautiful and the restaurant had fantastic food and service.

The rooms were disgusting. At least the sheets were clean, I hope. The carpets were stained, the light switches dirty and dusty. Mold in the bathroom. The door between the shared room looked like it hadn't been opened for years so much dust under the door. If they were able to update their rooms, renovate, change the flooring this would be a 5 star hotel. The lobby is beautiful!! The lobby doesn't match the rooms. The people who worked there were 10 stars!!!!!

We chose this hotel because we have stayed in van der valk hotels before and have been really happy. I have allergy issues which makes the typical French breakfast unsuitable but the van der valk provide a full English breakfast in addition to a very varied continental selection which is rare in Paris . The hotel is near CDG airport which means from central Paris you need to take the B train to park des expositions and then jump on a bus (39, 350) and ask for Park de Nations which is the stop right outside the hotel. Once at the hotel it’s like an oasis of peace after the bustle of Paris.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well looked after. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, thanks especially to Hena at the front desk she greeted us with a warm smile and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Every member of the team we encountered was friendly and professional, but Hena truly stood out for her exceptional service and attention to detail. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting. Special thanks to Hena and the entire staff for making our stay so memorable we look forward to returning!

The value was great and the location to the airport (15 minutes on a free shuttle). The staff was able to communicate in English with us and were very helpful. The hotel restaurant and bar was excellent and easy menu. Breakfast was worth the price as were any meal on the menu.

We had a quirky electrical issue with our lights that probably should be addressed. When the room light in the corner was turned on the power outlet did not work.

It was close to the airport, but we could not hear the planes. The rooms had been newly updated, so they were very clean. The shower was awesome and the bed was large and comfortable. The staff were extremely welcoming and kind. Of course, as all reviews mention, the breakfast was impressive.

The only thing I can even think to say negatively was that because they were renovating the rooms, there was plastic on the carpet hallway and a minor amount of construction evidence. It did not cause any issues for us at all though.
