The hotel is very new as is the whole area. It's in a good location outside Reims but the tram stop is about a 5 minute walk away. The tram takes about 15 minutes to get to the centre of Reims (Opera) and then it's a 2 minutes walk away from the beautiful Notre Damn of Reims. The hotel area is functional and quiet. There are a few restaurants around and all good quality - handy for tired travellers who don't want to go straight to the city. The staff were exceptional - nothing was an issue for them - water and coffee free 24/7 - breakfast was typically French and very nice

Room was fine, comfortable and clean. The car park was well lit up and with many spaces available. The reception staff was welcoming without being intrusive. At check out time they indicated to me the best way to reach the motorway, which was extremely useful as I had come out of the motorway at the wrong exit. I noticed there was a short menu of hot dishes available when I arrived.

A minus: no hot drink facilities in the room, which in itself is disappointing, especially after a long drive and an evening arrival. Although I noticed there was a few hot dishes available on arrival there was no mention of this by the reception staff. Mentioning which motorway exit to use to reach the hotel would have been a bonus, as my internet went dead in the car and I ended up choosing the Reims exit, taking me therefore to what did not seem a pleasant "Zone" within Reims..

I liked the property's location, it was in a very nice and secure neighborhood and very close to the tram. Very walkable location and lots of breakfast and lunch options. Reims town center is not far by car, so a win win. I also liked the property because it's is fairly new, so it's still pretty clean. Thank you for the endless coffee and drinking water available to the guests, we really appreciated it.

I booked a basic twin room, which, in retrospect, was a mistake. The room was too small for two travellers with luggages for a one-month travel. There was no room for us to spread out our things and extremely inconvenient to access any of our stuff when we need it. Next time I will book this property agin but will choose and pay for a bigger room.

Have never stayed in a hotel with our dog before (12 year old chocolate labrador). Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for our dog’s big bed. Staff were super friendly. Dogs were welcome everywhere and there were other dogs too but no issues at all. Everywhere was clean and fresh - no impression that dogs are regular visitors. Easy access from the motorway. Tram stop two minutes away for getting to centre of town. Large grassy area opposite perfect for walking dogs. Breakfast was delicious - very large choice. Other meals were basic - pizza, cheese boards etc but all you need for a road trip. 100% would stay here again. Really good value.

The staff and everything about this hotel was brilliant. Everything you needed was there. A local tram close to the hotel takes you to the city. Exceptional breakfast. All of the staff went above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and relaxed. Free secure parking. Special thanks to Mohamed, Lena, Euzo & Aida who really took care of us after arriving from really shocking accommodation left prematurely, which was not suitable for us. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely nothing

It could not have been better. We arrived after 9pm and still got hot freshly cooked food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Super comfortable beds and room facilities ideal. Everywhere very clean and in top working order. Free hot drinks and a water station to refill water bottles. Lots of free parking and easy access to the main north/south motorway. Very reasonably priced, so excellent value for money. Quiet location and delicious local champagne. What more can one say! Highly recommend.

Nothing but a couple of usb points in the room would have been helpful

It is very conveniently situated off the motorway on a large business/residential estate with its own railway station and tram access into Reims. Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable and room well furnished and quiet. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and we were pleased to find that the advertised “Snacks” available were actually good quality complete meals [starters, mains and desserts] in jars that could be ordered at any time. Free tea and coffee are available at all times in the attractive bar. Breakfast offered a large choice of attractively presented continental and cooked items.

Nothing! We wish there were more Akena hotels on our route through France, Switzerland and Italy.

This was our first hotel on our 9 day tour around Europe's best biking roads, and as such It fulfilled my requirements, the choice of meal options in the evening was the only blight here, so I just gave dinner a miss. Pizza is a really poor option.

Again, no kettle in the room! Why? Location was the worst thing - if you wanted to head off into Reims it was a tram ride away, this being a Sunday it was less frequent and as such we just stayed in the hotel

Very close to highway, very convenient. Room has all you need. Free coffee and water all day which was nice! They offer a Snack Menu if you don't want to go out, the choice is very good! If you are travelling with a dog, a good area for walkies too!

I have stayed a few times and all good, but you definitely need to change the mattress in room 4, I usually sleep on everything, but this mattress was my final enemy of the day :)
