This hotel is spotlessly clean and the location great for an overnight stopover as it is close to motorway although not a lot of places to eat or drink close by. The aircon was a really blessing as it was a ridiculous 37 degrees when we arrived so we really appreciated the coolness of the room on arrival. The free drinks machine is a great bonus. The bar was a pleasant area to chill out on an evening. The secure carpark which gets locked on a night time was great as we had a car full of luggage as we were returning from a month long road trip. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel

Nothing to dislike but maybe a little pricey for an overnight stop

The hotel is very new as is the whole area. It's in a good location outside Reims but the tram stop is about a 5 minute walk away. The tram takes about 15 minutes to get to the centre of Reims (Opera) and then it's a 2 minutes walk away from the beautiful Notre Damn of Reims. The hotel area is functional and quiet. There are a few restaurants around and all good quality - handy for tired travellers who don't want to go straight to the city. The staff were exceptional - nothing was an issue for them - water and coffee free 24/7 - breakfast was typically French and very nice

Room was fine, comfortable and clean. The car park was well lit up and with many spaces available. The reception staff was welcoming without being intrusive. At check out time they indicated to me the best way to reach the motorway, which was extremely useful as I had come out of the motorway at the wrong exit. I noticed there was a short menu of hot dishes available when I arrived.

A minus: no hot drink facilities in the room, which in itself is disappointing, especially after a long drive and an evening arrival. Although I noticed there was a few hot dishes available on arrival there was no mention of this by the reception staff. Mentioning which motorway exit to use to reach the hotel would have been a bonus, as my internet went dead in the car and I ended up choosing the Reims exit, taking me therefore to what did not seem a pleasant "Zone" within Reims..

We always stay here on our drive from the uk to lake Annecy. It is situated in quite a built up area (convenient as is just a few minutes off the motorway) but feels very leafy and green in the little garden/seating area. It’s very clean and comfortable, with helpful and friendly staff. A limited menu is offered with pizza, cheese and meat platters and some good quality ready meals which are very tasty. There are restaurants nearby but we have always eaten at the Akena. Lovely breakfast with fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals and pastries.

I liked the property's location, it was in a very nice and secure neighborhood and very close to the tram. Very walkable location and lots of breakfast and lunch options. Reims town center is not far by car, so a win win. I also liked the property because it's is fairly new, so it's still pretty clean. Thank you for the endless coffee and drinking water available to the guests, we really appreciated it.

I booked a basic twin room, which, in retrospect, was a mistake. The room was too small for two travellers with luggages for a one-month travel. There was no room for us to spread out our things and extremely inconvenient to access any of our stuff when we need it. Next time I will book this property agin but will choose and pay for a bigger room.

Modern, fresh, very clean and good sized room with air conditioning. Staff were very friendly and helpful including giving useful advice on local transport into town centre. Breakfast offered a good selection and car parking was straight forward and secure. An excellent stop over hotel en route to the Alps.

Would prefer to have had coffee and tea making facilities in the room. Having said that there was a good selection available in the foyer including decaffeinated drinks as well as a bar.

Have never stayed in a hotel with our dog before (12 year old chocolate labrador). Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for our dog’s big bed. Staff were super friendly. Dogs were welcome everywhere and there were other dogs too but no issues at all. Everywhere was clean and fresh - no impression that dogs are regular visitors. Easy access from the motorway. Tram stop two minutes away for getting to centre of town. Large grassy area opposite perfect for walking dogs. Breakfast was delicious - very large choice. Other meals were basic - pizza, cheese boards etc but all you need for a road trip. 100% would stay here again. Really good value.

Exceptional hotel, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean, bright and airy, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast choice and dining area fantastic, coffee/tea and chilled still/sparking water available 24/7. Car parking secure.

Nothing could be done to make our stay better, everything was amazing and we would definitely be returning to more Akena hotels when next visiting France.

Located a short distance from the motorway, this was an ideal stopover on a long journey. Easy to find, free parking on site, bar and restaurant available if required. The room was fine, functional and well equipped.

It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Although there was free coffee available in the lobby, there was no tea, only hot water, and only paper cups.

The staff and everything about this hotel was brilliant. Everything you needed was there. A local tram close to the hotel takes you to the city. Exceptional breakfast. All of the staff went above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and relaxed. Free secure parking. Special thanks to Mohamed, Lena, Euzo & Aida who really took care of us after arriving from really shocking accommodation left prematurely, which was not suitable for us. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.
