We normally use the Ibis Budget at Coquelles but the standards there have been deteriorating so much we decided to try Lille. The room was much nicer - especially the shower room. The receptionist was friendly and overall it was a much nicer experience.

The lighting in the room. You could have all the lights on or off. There was no way to isolate reading lights which was really inconvenient. We also found getting out of the hotel back to the motorway a challenge. It's definitely not easy if you're heading towards Brussels.

I found Ibis budget an amazing hotel. The personnel were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was tasty and in typical french style.

In didn’t like that in the bathroom there was a small hole and while we were taking a shower, everything was becoming wet. However, this is not something to change my mind about the hotel.

Everything was good except breakfast

Breakfast should be continental. The bread was hard . There was no cold meats or salad. 8.50 Euro is expensive without.

Good location and price. The staff is friendly. Parking area is an advantage.

It would be great if the soundproofing between rooms was better.

Close to the Stadium, had all you need. Staff was very friendly.

A bit aged, but nothing unexpected. Always have in mind you booked a budget hotel

The staff was amazing, friendly and helpful even though they didn't speak a word of English. There was plenty of place to park our car and the breakfast was quite good for it's price. There's also a grocery store next door.

No elevator, so you have to carry your luggage upstairs yourself. Which is fine by me, but could be an issue for some.

Good place to stopover, Only 1 hour 15mins from Calais, Good breakfast.

Not sure what was happening but there was a lot of young men (20 plus) hanging around in the car park especially in the morning around 7am none of which seemed to be staying at the hotel ???

Friendly staff seems to be a constant at Ibis. Fast check-in. Room perfect for 3. Protected parking

cheap , very clean . free parking. comfortable.

unfortunately no water is provided . no water in vending machine either only fizzy drinks . and the vending machine only accepts euro coins no card so if you don’t have water and you arrived late your going to have a long night

Security was good , car park was gated at night and then entry was by keycode, but in fairness the area did not strike me as a place where there would be any trouble. Good breakfast, fair choice.

The walls were thin, I could here a conversation happening in the next room.
