The location is a perfect choice for a night or two. Close to all of the main attractions but in a less touristy area. We really enjoyed that the hotel provided us with bath robes, that’s something you don’t always get at fancy hotel! Also, breakfast was included in the price and it was very filling and delicious. Very home-like experience. Staff was nice and friendly. They also let us store our luggage at the property because our train was leaving later in the day.

I guess it’s my fault that I chose the “city view” room without thinking about how noisy it can get in there. My friend flew in after a couple of sleepless nights and I really wanted her to rest well, which she did nonetheless, but woke up multiple times during the night due to the noise.

I loved my 2 day stay at Hotel 1887, my first stop in Georgia. It is a lovely old building, nicely renovated to keep its charms like parquetry floors. My room with balcony was huge and comfortable with lovely modern bathroom. The location is great too, easy walk to the centre with an excellent restaurant just across the street. The breakfast was delicious (crepes, cheese, omelette, jams and bread, and good coffee too). The staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you.

the hotel is located in a historical building. The rooms are spacious and very clean with balconies. A small garden with grapes and tangerine trees is a bonus. The owners and staff are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and rich enough that you don't have to feel hungry throughout the day. You can communicate with employees in Russian and English. The hotel is located approx. 600 m from the very noisy city center. distance, which is very good and ensures enough peace and quiet. I highly recommend it. In Georgia, it does not make sense to live in a modern glass building or in hotels in the city center that are purely western-oriented. You cannot find the real Georgian soul in them

This hotel exceeded my expectations- very stylish with a lot of personality, vintage furniture, nice decor. Also an amazing garden with fruit trees and a swing. The bed in a double room is huge and super comfy. Toilet is very good, with a powerful shower. But the best part was breakfast- the most delicious home made crepes with home made strawberry jam, fluffy omelette and a REAL coffee (not an instant one like in other places). They also offered to print our tickets free of charge and arrange transfer to the airport for a good price.

The hotel (a converted grand Georgian house) was run by a lovely mother and son team. Excellent location. 7 minute walk to the centre but away from the pollution, noise and traffic of kutaisi. Superb restaurant opposite the hotel recommended by Buba (the son of the aforementioned family team). All of Buba's restaurant recommendations were great. When I wanted a taxi to take me to a rarely visited place, he called around until he found someone, and also helped me with my SIM card and a medical item I needed. Thank you.

You can still hear some traffic noise in the rooms facing away from the street, although the location is not nearly as busy as that of some 4 star hotels in the city. İf you're very noise sensitive (like me), take earplugs. Otherwise, no complaints.

Excellent small family-run hotel! Perfect quiet location about a 10 minute walk from Colchis Fountain. Lots of free parking nearby. Family couldn’t be kinder or more helpful. Great hot showers. Lovely breakfasts each morning. Pretty garden outside. Terrific restaurant (Story) right across the street. We felt very well-cared for. A perfect stay!

This is a great, small hotel. On Tseretali Street, a 10 min walk into the centre of Kutaisi. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The house-keeper (whose name I did not get) offered me q'ava (coffee) on arrival. She also made a delicious and healthy Georgian breakfast in a separate dining room each morning. The room was spacious clean, with everything needed. The airconditioner was very effective in Kutaisi's warm, humid summer. The manager, Buba, was also friendly and very helpful, with advice on day tours from Kutaisi, and even booked a medical appointment. I would definitely stay here again.

I checked in late and checked out early, so it was just one night's sleep, however it totally met my expectations. I especially loved how the table was pre-laid for each of the early birds who woke up for an early breakfast, and the breakfast itself was good, too. Super friendly English speaking staff.

The bed was a little too soft to my liking, and the water in the shower wouldn't drain, but that's minor, really. The coffee was bad, I think the coffee machine is just one of those cheap ones.

Super nicely located modern hotel in an old Georgian building. The room was clean, spacious and well designed. The hotel provides great fulfilling breakfast and the staff are super welcoming. Location is great as well, in a quiet street but well in the center of the city.

The hotel and rooms are located on the first floor with some stairs from the ground, so if you need an elevator - you might struggle as there is none.

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, but close to the city center ( walking distance). The staff was very helpful and kind. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. I enjoyed my stay in the hotel.
