The hotel has a 1990s vibe. Rooms are spacious with comfortably arranged furniture. Our room had a little balcony facing the mountain, so it was very quiet and peaceful. The location is excellent, it is a 7-minute walk from the train station, in the tourist part of Bad Ems. There is also a beautiful terrace on the fifth floor where you could sit sipping drinks and looking over the riverside. An on-site restaurant serves good meals and wine.

The hotel is a bit dated. When we took a shower, it flooded the room. Although breakfast was plentiful, things disappeared too fast and were very slowly replenished. Also, I know it is subjective, but the mattress was too soft for me, it aggravated my back pain. Overall, it is a nice hotel, though. The pros outweigh the cons.

Great location and although quite basic, it had everything you needed.

Just a little dated, but fine for 1 or 2 nights. The breakfast wasn't replenished very much. We arrived for breakfast with over an hour still left to spare and there were lots of empty plates and dishes, and no hot options were left. No eggs or bacon and we had finished our breakfast before we saw eggs being brought out and the bacon was never re-filled. We didn't like the fact that the balcony doors were open and people were allowed to smoked out there, so the smoked drifted in through your breakfast.

Nice clean comfortable hotel, helpful friendly staff. The hotel is situated in a very nice area beside the river Lahn, our room had a bath which we both enjoyed after a long drive.

Parking was chaotic. Hard to get a spot at the front but there is a parking garage round the corner. €10 euros per day to park. Breakfast had little choice of warm food.

The hotel has a nice terrace at the last floor when our room was, very pleasant with a glass of Riesling on a sunny day ;) there is also an internal cellar for storing the bikes

It's a bit far from the main part of the city but it's a nice walk

Good location , clean rooms,tasty breakfast , the restaurant on the first floor with an Italian dish, thanks it was a very good journey , and I will stay there next time !

The room was commodious, Bed is inconveniently soft. Window looked to the very close (10 m) cliff. For some extra payment you may have a room with river view, that is really nice. Breakfast was good, with wide selections. The town is small you may get to nearly anywhere on foot.

The room was quite big. Breakfast was a really good. Location was amazing.

Unfortunately, there were only a few parking spaces in front of the hotel. Fortunately, there was a parking garage behind the hotel, around the corner.

Location is nice. Mountain side rooms offer some view. Great thing is you have no traffic sounds there and it is cool. Good food, friendly staff and a good restaurant. Restaurant is quite full every evening so you might consider making a reservation.

Elevator is old, door takes quite some force to open. No problem for us but if your physical condition is very limited this might not be the place for you. The stairs are very wide, so first floor might be an option in that case.
