A truly great hotel in every way, the best place I stayed in my entire monthlong trip at a price cheaper than many other, good hotels. First, the staff is extremely helpful, efficient, and prompt. Great training and great choice of people. The services and facilities offered are stellar. Extremely accommodating to requests for no extra fees. Fantastic rooms, with mini-patios and great views. So comfortable and easy to do work, relax, or be romantic. Excellent noise insulation from other rooms and the bar downstairs, and curtains so you can sleep in if it's bright in the morning. The restaurant/bar is great as well. Almost always busy, which says a lot. Right next to a large park and several subway lines, and just a little bit of a walk to several tourist spots (the Bunker Museum, Potsdam Plaza). Overall, a great place. I can't praise it enough. Next time I visit Berlin, I'm staying here.

It's hard to find anything negative about this place. If I really had to choose something, I'd say that while there are 3 subway stations conveniently nearby, they're all sort of a haul if you're carrying luggage. I recommend taking a taxi or driving if you have luggage.

The location was great! Right next to an U-Bahn and bus station and about a 10 minute walk from Potsdamerplatz. The bed and pillows were comfortable and not like the typical German double bed (which we loved!). Rain forest shower head and heated floor in the bathroom.

I joined my husband and his friends in Berlin for the Berlin Marathon. I came late because of work and only stayed one night. This location was close to where everyone else was staying. While pricey, it was not as pricey as many other locations during this time period. I flew in, was able to take the train in to near the hotel. I then walked, which was a little bit of a walk with a suitcase, but totally manageable and I felt completely safe. I dropped my luggage and crammed in site seeing. I didn't take advantage of many amenities at the hotel - as I was spending time with others located at a nearby hotel. There was a lovely, warm and inviting small lobby with a fireplace. There was a restaurant that also looked inviting. There was a very nice courtyard out in the back with sitting areas. Breakfast buffet the next morning also looked great - see photo. They do include toiletries (but not conditioner), hairdryer. You must put your key in the wall in order to get lights to turn on. Hotel was clean, beds comfy, and the room was super quiet. Area was not right in downtown, but felt safe walking even at night. Staff was nice and helpful. You can keep your key or leave it hanging on wall at hotel when you leave. I was here alone, not sure that I would have wanted to sleep with my 6 foot 2 husband in the bed. But, I slept really well.

I wish it wasn't quite so expensive, but you are paying for the location and nice hotel - probably a bit more expensive when I was there because of the Berlin marathon too.

The staff is friendly. The location is great.

First I made the reservation without logging on to booking. Then when I loogged on, realized the prices are %10 less. Contacted with hotel, they referred to booking. Booking said hotel confirmation is needed to cancel and rebook with %10 less. Grimms didn't approved. 😒. When we arrived I asked for help from the reception, same answer. So that money is everything for them. And Grimms basically doesn't care to ask for more money.

We were very satisfied with everything - the decoration was very unique and cool, the room was clean, the location was very good. And there was a beautiful view from the fitness room!

Great location in the city, within walking distance to most things including the U Bahn. Within a 10 minute walk to two large shopping centers. About a 40 minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof, the walk was nice and we saw a lot of sites on the way to the hotel. Could also easily get a train or bus, we used these to get around the city quicker. The hotel was super clean and we were given a free room upgrade which was nice.The bathroom was nice and big and there was cosy underfloor heating. The room was cleaned daily and the hotel was based on the Grimm fairytale stories. The staff were very friendly and helpful, never got a chance to eat the breakfast or at the restaurant but it looked nice. Would definitely go back again!

Facilities are lovely. I didn't realize it was acutally Grimms Brothers themed. Got to use the gym, it ws fine. The room was nice, clean aand cozy: excellent for the price. The neighbourhood felt safe and lovely, next to the river. Just one bus to the city Center and an S-Bahn at walking distance. Also the walking route to the Brandenburg Tor (etc) was delightable.

I didn't try the breakfast because it seemed pricey beforehand. I aknowledge the cultural differences, but given the facts it's hopsitality, staff could be a little tiny bit more friendly.

Everything was perfect, the room was comfy and had everything needed for a short stay. Bathroom was very clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable. I loved the fairy tale themed decoration of the room and the whole hotel in general :) The staff was very nice. The location is perfect, a short 2 minute walk to metro station. The surrounding area is very nice and quiet.

The only thing i didn't like was that the AC didn't really work. It was a bit hot in the room. Luckily the room had a balcony so I kept the door opened.

There was a mix up with room allocation or arrival as I had asked for a twin room and was allocated a double. The young lady on reception was extremely helpful in changing the room. The hotel is in a good location about a 10 minute walk to Potsdamer platz and there is a U-bahn literally a one minute walk away. Please ensure you visit BRLO Brwhouse only 10 minutes away. The small bar in the hotel is extremely comfortable and the staff friendly. The hotel room was extremely quiet. Tip - make the most of public transport with a day pass.

The gym was a little smaller than expected and I could not figure how to get to the roof terrace although this didn't matter as it was too cool to sit up there!
