The general ambience, cosy space tasteful and bohemian decor, background music in the shared space. Staff were lovely and helpful. Bedroom was beautiful and VERY comfy bed. Toiletries were fantastic, I wish I could have bought some! The courtyard space was gorgeous with bedrooms feeling very peaceful on such a busy road. Overall, fantastic and would come back!

It feels picky to criticise, but more fresh fruit at breakfast would have been good. Breakfast was good but for the price a little disappointing; I had really looked forward to fruit but there was only grapefruit and orange which felt too acidic for my stomach. A kettle/teabags in the room would have been great. Sadly we could not get dinner when we arrived and were too tired to head out, but there were valid reasons.

Overall a really nice vibe! Cosy, cool and friendly, we really enjoyed the design and atmosphere. The people were very friendly and supportive. The rooms had huge ceilings, were clean and we really liked the products in the bathroom. We really liked the fact that you can rent a bike (even one cargo-bike!), free candies and good coffee. The breakfast was good having organic food, and the restaurant was very tasty as well!

Have in mind that the stairs towards the upper beds were a bit tricky, especially for elderly people or younger children.

I had a different hotel booked for this trip - but having recently stayed at another of this hotels branches (Copenhagen), I switched to this hotel and am very happy I did. The weather was cold - but the hotel was warm and cosy inside. I love the bedroom decor - it feels comfortable and plush - unlike some hotels which feel a bit overstarched and cold - there is a warm, worn in feel to these hotels that makes them feel more homely (but they don't feel used or dirty). Our heating worked really well and we overlooked the interior courtyard which, due to the time of year, meant it was very quiet. The staff were welcoming and friendly and I loved the free self service lockers for somewhere to store your bag before check in. I have been to Berlin a few times - an in my experience the best hotels are never right in the centre. I found the location of this hotel to be really handy - a 5-ish minute walk to the U-bahn with great connections - and walking distance to Potsdamer Platz too. I will definitely stay again next time I'm in Berlin.

My only (slight!) complaint is the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the rooms - I appreciate the hotels stance on energy and having no energy-using devices in the rooms - but the Copenhagen brach had a kitchenette on each floor with free hot drinks and an honesty bar - maybe this is something the hotel could consider.

All the staff went out of their way to make us feel as though we were in a sanctuary. They lived and demonstrated the environmental culture. They used MacOS machines on the front desk. Shows they do not settle for second best. The best coffee in Berlin this side of Templehof

Some extra respite from smoking areas would be welcome The swing in the room was just in an odd place. No room to really test it out No light source above the desk.

Very beautiful room (we were staying on the Loft), wonderful cosmetics available in the room, very helpful Staff, wonderfully designed hotel, great location, option to store luggage, even though we didn't eat breakfasts, we could get free coffee and water in the morning, free waterbottles in the room were great help during hot summer days (and tap water really was very nice!).

With open windows the room was a bit loud due to the street outside so od you are a light sleeper, earplugs are recommended in the summer. Mattresses are very soft - in case you prefer hard ones.

The rooms were a good size, and comfortable. Hotel has a great feel. Location fantastic with bus to Central Berlin train station right outside door, leaving every 10 minutes, and the u bahn five minute walk.

For a sustainable hotel more hooks or a towel rack in the bathroom are needed. If you want to encourage visitors to recycle towels you need somewhere to hang the wet towels (especially in a very small bathroom). This includes both bath and hand towels. One very small hook behind bathroom door is not enough (especially for a three person/family room). We stayed early in the week, arriving Monday, for three nights.. The restaurant in the hotel was closed and we found other restaurants in the neighbourhood also closed so it was difficult to find any food (except for a takeaway burger place). Once we got to Wednesday this was no longer a problem. Breakfast at the hotel was also expensive.

The hotel was super cute and it was very well decorated. It's also in a great part of the city. There's a bus stop right in front and it's a short walk to the metro stop. The staff was also really great, especially Caio and Johnny. They made sure we were taken care of and gave us great recommendations on what to do in the city. (side note: Caio makes GREAT drinks at the hotel bar)

The bathroom was a bit small, but that's just me being a picky American. The room was a great size for our party.

Very pleasant hotel, in a modern and trendy style.

There was very limited storage space in the room. There were several levels in the room, up or down a step. There was only a skylight, not a window. The area wasn't particularly pleasant especially after dark and there wasn’t much in the way of bars or restaurants in the vicinity. The presence of a table-dancing bar across the street seemed more representative of the neighbourhood than the hotel. There is however an excellent bakery/coffee shop very nearby.

Really beautiful, relaxing and aesthetic, especially the restaurant/breakfast room. We had dinner in the restaurant on the day of our arrival, and the food was excellent and all organic, which we liked. Bathrooms were beautiful too and very unique in their design. Generally the interior is very stunning and charming.

The bed was too soft and the location is not the nicest in town. If you don't care for a 10 - 15 minutes walk to nearest U-bahn, it's no problem though.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the interior of the room and the building was very beautiful. I also liked very much the eco friendly furniture and bio food approach. Breakfast was ok, and it was also super nice that they had free storage compartments for your luggage. Direct bus to the Central Station, and the bus station is right in front of the hotel.

The location was not as central as I thought, the adjacent streets felt a bit unsafe. The mattresses were too soft for my back, and the bathroom a bit too small, the door did not open all the way through.
