This hotel was very impressive at the beginning in terms of price and room size. When I arrived, the receptionist did not say good morning to the guest with a warm welcome. there is a receptionist, maybe that day is her first day at work, I feel she doesn't know anything to do or even say hello to the guest. Receptionists attitudes I rate from 1 to 10; they just deserve 5 scores. With a nice and expensive hotel like that, the receptionist team is not so professional and humble. They should improve their attitude. I just like that the room size is very big and all the facilities are very comfortable, nice, and private. The room has a balcony, like a small studio. The breakfast is really good. The Philippine hostess in the restaurant is friendly and helpful. The location is right in the center, so I saved money on the taxi. 

The receptionist attitude is not so kind. Not deserve 4 Stars. I stayed in many other hotels with 3-4 stars but all the staff and receptionist are really professional, polite and humble to the guests.

The room was very big and clean. Coffee machine was great. The separate changing room was marvelous.

The parking was full and we had to park our car outdoors.

The breakfasts are superb. Excellent choice of good quality food. Breakfast staff very attentive and helpful. Room and bed were excellent. Always enjoy our stay at Hollywood media.

This was our third visit to the hotel. We have previously been given an inside room which is quiet with no street noise. Unfortunately I forgot to ask for an inner room when booking and the one we were given, number 252 was above a bar/club on Knesebeckstrasse which proved to be a bit noisy on Friday and Saturday nights.

The breakfast was the best! There was so much choice! You could have scrambled eggs, bacon, smoked salmon, meatballs, sausages, fresh bread, pancakes, assorted cereals, yoghurt, cold cut meats and cheeses. There was a juicer which you could use to make fresh juice every morning. They even had sparkling wine available! Location was great too! Several buses go past the hotel so it was well connected. The train and tram stations are within walking distance and so is the Berlin zoo. You need public transport to get to the centre of Berlin but it’s about a 15-20 minute journey if that. The street is quite upmarket with lots of luxury shops. There were lots of cafes and restaurants around too. The staff were nice. We forgot to bring a European charger but reception lent us one which was very useful. It saved us having to buy one.

The beds were quite noisy. If you requested for a double bed, two single beds were put together but they were not securely attached so it was uncomfortable. The lack of usb plugs is something that needs to be addressed.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise, we had 2 rooms and then a 3rd as my son also came for the weekend and felt the same way! Location is perfect, there are restaurants close by, excellent variety for breakfast and very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again next time im.in Berlin. Staff friendly and helpful in the hotel, they couldnt do enough for you! I Would have no problem recommending this hotel to friends and family, and we will definitely be back.

Sadly the bar/restaurant attached to the hotel The Capone Bar was a let down, the staff need training in customer service skills, we went most days for a drink before we ventured out, but the staff were rude and unfriendly. No biggie really, but its such a shame when it seems to be part of the hotel.

In today's reality when hotel prices are exorbitant, this hotel's value for money is outstanding. The location is convenient for walking, shopping, transport (to city center and Messe Berlin, from my experience). Everywhere in the hotel is clean, the single room is spacious, necessary amenities are in place, the breakfast is wonderful. Of course if you are looking for hair conditioner or slippers in bathroom, this is not your place. I pack my own and am happy to have coffee, tea and refrigerator in room, plus good coffee, salmon and bubbly at breakfast. And the theme design is fun, despite other comments :) I hope they will keep this price and quality. Will be coming back for sure.

One woman at the reception did not seem to cooperate much: when I asked her on two different occasions, she made my requests look impossible (checking-in even a little before 3 pm and requesting paid late checkout a day before). However, when I approached her male colleagues with the same requests a bit later, they resolved both in a heartbeat.

The location was excellent, with easy access to various forms of public transport, shops, bars, and restaurants. The hotel is clean and tidy. It is very quiet with very good facilities. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was exceptional with a food selection that would suit every pallet and dietary need. The food was continually refreshed, right through to the end of service. All in all, it was a very affordable and comfortable stay. I would definitely return to this hotel and have no problem in recommending it to others. Well done, Hollywood Media Hotel.

There was only one very minor issue, with my room. There were no drawers for the storage of none hanging items.

hotel is very nice with clean and spacious rooms and everything that is needed. Location is also good close to sbahn metro station. lidl and rewe supermarket nearby in 5 min walking distance.

the staff on the reception should be more polite and professional, especially the blonde girl. she was very unkind and arogant. The air conditioning was not working and one day in the room it was very hot 30 degrees. But good side was the window and cold weather outside so the problem was solved in few minutes 😀

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel - amazing staff, everything was very clean and neat, the room was absolutely amazing - more than enough room for two people, equipped with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was absolutely amazing and filling, ready to serve people of different tastes. The location is great - calm neighbourhood with lots of shops arround, close to both U and S bahn and bus stations, close to lots of sightseeings and overall just an amazing place

The wifi was a little slow

I liked the location and the cleaniness of the hotel, of course the special attention to cinema was nice. An extra nice point was the view out of the window with Berlin in advent-time. Very grateful for it

the friendliness of the staff could have been excellent, when I complained, that the housekeeping was knocking at my door (despite I had the "please do not disturb"-sign on my door) around 10 in the morning one was not enthusiastic to inform the whom? ah ja, the housekeeping. Well, did not help. Better inform the people of the housekeeping BEFORE they start their job. On the hallway it was very noisy as well - otherwise the room was very good and clean, the beds a bit too hard for my taste, but ok. What was really disturbing was, that the soap was to push (rather to press) from a bottle at the wall (in the bathroom of course), but with my arthritic fingers hardly possible and hardly soap available. very annoying
