Just wonderful. Possibly the best hotel we've ever stayed in. We had one of the "smaller" rooms in the "annexe" with a street view to the rear of the hotel. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean. Very well equipped. The room was more than sufficient in size for us and very quiet. No need to upgrade, in my opinion. The breakfasts were luxurious, to say the least. We counted 14 different types of tea! We stayed two nights and on the first morning we had views over the Brandenburger gate from our table The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. A special mention of Stefan who looked after us on the second morning in the restaurant. Thank you!

It would've have been nice to have more English TV channels in the room but that is a very very minor point.

My wife and I with our friends had a wonderful, enjoyable stay at the impressive Adlon Kempinski Hotel. The staff were very welcoming and professional, ensuring a smooth check-in although the check-out process did take a bit of time as there was an issue with the printer. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all necessary amenities, shower and shampoo bottles could be a little bigger. The bed and pillow were very comfortable, and the housekeeping service was efficient. Aircon in the room was difficult to get working optimally The location is very convenient, with easy access to local attractions and underground, although concierge, assumed we knew it was just outside the hotel, although the concierge did an excellent job of getting concert tickets and advice for tour busses. Being right next door to Brandenburg Gates, there are numerous demonstrations, but the police present, kept it safe, but for a larger demonstration the Police had blocked vehicle access to the hotel. This did mean getting a taxi was more difficult than normal. The breakfast offered had an excellent variety of options, staff were friendly and dishes prepared well with a reasonable choice for vegetarians The on-site facilities, such as the pool, jacuzzi, gym, were well-kept with helpful staff and a relaxing environment, also the separate elevator saved walking through the Hotel.

For those seeking a blend of historical grandeur and modern luxury in Berlin, Hotel Adlon Kempinski offers an experience that is both lavish and steeped in tradition. While some aspects may require attention, the hotel's prime location including views of the Brandenburg Gate, exceptional service, and storied past make it a compelling choice for travelers desiring a quintessential Berlin experience. Beds were very comfortable, we loved the steam shower and the breakfast options which were numerous and very tasty.

Some service issues were experienced in the Quarre restaurant... food was excellent but overpriced. Power outlets seem to intermittently not work (some outlets could not charge a phone overnight). Charged for breakfast on the last day even though we had to leave earlier than the restaurant opened... the alternative of a takeway breakfast to be provided at the concierge desk did not eventuate!

Everything was fabulous and memorable. The hotel itself is stunning, staff is warm, kind and helpful. The room was superb and particularly comfortable with fluffy bed and pillows, Ferragamo products and elegant furnishings. The breakfast, although rather pricey, is a highlight with its range of high quality fresh products. If you enjoy fresh fruits, caviars, salmon, fancy jams and granola, it really worth it. There are some more British style options too, but then, I am not sure 61€+ would justify it just for that. I would love to return to the Adlon Kempinski if I ever return to Berlin.

The Hotel Adlon did not disappoint, The large bedroom was very comfortable, the bathroon was spacious, there was room to sit comfortably as well. We had a lovely view from our corridor onto rooftop gardens that were well-maintained. At breakfast we had a great view of the Brandenburg gate.

We had very high hopes for the breakfast, and although it was good, it wasn't to the same standard as everything else. We had a disscussion between ourselves about the distinction of shabby vs patina; Some of our furniture was a bit scuffed around the edges, and there was a strange cabinet in our room that looked as if it was for an old CRT television.

Everything was perfect from the arrival to the check out. The staff was professional and really helpful in each department. Upgraded to the Deluxe Room category a few days before the arrival. We were really satisfied with the size and equipment of the room and the cleanliness was above average, not just in the room but in the whole hotel including the wellness/fitness area. Enjoyed the caffee and the cakes in the lobby. The breakfast is wonderful with a huge selection of dishes, and we spent almost 2 hours trying as many products as possible. Luckily the breakfast was held in the Brasserie and we got the table with the best view on the Brandenburger Gate. We are looking forward to visiting the hotel in the near future.

Fantastic location on Unter den Linden, right next to the Brandenburg gate. A gorgeous old building, beautifully maintained and tastefully decorated. Every staff member we encountered was courteous, helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was a daily highlight with the most amazing dining room, super friendly service and a wide range of delectable dishes to choose from. Their Belgian waffles merit a special mention. We will definitely visit again!

It’s very comfortable. The room was excellent. The staff attentive and efficient. Location first class. It’s the hotel I expected from the novels.

The wait at reception for check in. The “you can upgrade for €X” messages (made you feel a bit second class). The instant charge on your credit card (other hotels put a “hold” on it). Small details not noticed (my wife’s 60th birthday), that I walked with a stick (a long way from room to reception, breakfast, entrance). Not major but the sort of thing I’d expect a really top hotel to notice.

We greatly appreciated the hotel's convenient location, with a station right in front for easy transportation. The large lounge area with a piano also added to the inviting and relaxing atmosphere.

The quality and quantity of the toiletries provided could be improved to align more closely with the standards typically seen at five-star hotels. I noticed that there is no turndown service offered during the stay. While not a dealbreaker, this is a nice touch that many guests, especially those staying in five-star properties, look forward to. The housekeeping staff does a good job of cleaning the room, but there is an opportunity to improve the tidiness and presentation of the space.

The staff is really committed, they try hard to make you welcome and comfortable. Valet parking a nice touch. In the room you can get to the toilet two ways, from the entry way and from the bathroom. Meaning that if one person bathes, you don't have to disturb them and are able to get to the "the throne" a different way. The shower is also very nice (two shower heads, one fixed to the ceiling, one hand held). The beds are very comfortable, pillows rather soft though, if you like that kind. There were slippers and robes in the room for each guest.

Some things offered are only available by specific request, like the turndown service in the evening. Or the newspapers. They will tell you "here's a list of newspapers you can get" but how you need to go about it, they aren't volunteering ... Don't look too closely at your room. Some of the wood here and there is scuffed. I do understand how that happens in a hotel over time. However at a hotel in that price range that should be fixed. The mini bar is not free, even though they are offering two bottles of complimentary water per day. You might have to stand in line to be seated for breakfast. It IS a very nice hotel but overall I think you definitely also pay for the famous name and the location.
