I had a really great experience staying here. The room was clean, comfortable, and everything was as expected. What stood out the most, though, was the helpfulness of the staff. The owner was kind enough to let me leave my luggage with them after check-out so I could attend my interviews without any stress. They even offered a flexible check-out time, allowing me to stay until 12:00 instead of the usual 11:00, which I really appreciated. Overall, the service was excellent, and the people running the place were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here and would happily return myself!

value for money, an excellent room, safe location, lots of places to eat, excellent location for Messe Berlin one train and 10 mins for 3 Euro, and one easy train for the airport BER for only 5 Euros 50 mins, trains run all night so catching a train for the airport at 04-00 hrs gave excellent peace of mind. Excellent for the single traveler. In all my first business trip to Mess Berlin ITB expo was easy using this hotel.

The location is great, Spandau Oldtown. You can take a direct train from the airport and later travel to any other part of Berlin easily. The room was simple and clean. The hosts provided an air fan on the hot days without asking, which was nice. It's a really convenient place to stay if you're going to an event at Spandauer Zitadelle.

Location suited me. My Airbnb in Spandau was a disaster so I found this place available in short time. It was late August so I had little choice on a modest budget. The young man at reception, a trainee, was particularly helpful and his English was excellent and his manner professional. My German is non existent.

No lift but it's only 3 stories tall. Room is a little small but again for the price and style (probably 1950s) built, lots of carpet, doors everywhere etc) it's normal and perfectly acceptable.

unpretentious small hotel in the heart of Spandau, run by an East-European family.. Doesn't look much from outside but I was pleased when I entered my room which was clean and comfortable and had a fridge and kettle.

no AC but it wasn't a hot day. The breakfast which I didn't book looked rather basic when I walked past the breakfast room to check out.

Very clean rooms and the guy at the reception was very helpful. Excellent location and walkable from the S bahn train station. Very good neighborhood with lot of supermarkets nearby.
