This place was absolutely great value for money. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast—nothing fancy, but the fact that it was included made a big difference. You could find all kinds of bread, cereals, various types of meats and cheeses, veggies, pancakes with different toppings, and more. The room was clean enough—nothing exceptional, but perfectly fine. Housekeeping came by every day to give us fresh towels and toilet paper, which we appreciated. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. They gave us great recommendations on what to see and do in the city as tourists. Also, there was a water fridge at the front desk where you could refill your bottles for free—which was amazing because let me tell you, water prices in Berlin are wild! 😂 As a group of four outgoing girls, we felt safe at all times, even when coming back late at night. The location was also great. Overall, I would definitely rebook this place if I visit Berlin again.

The check-in process was smooth and pleasant. The room was clean and tidy, and the location is very convenient – public transport is close by, making it easy to get around the city. Breakfast was included in the price, which is a nice bonus, but it was a bit disappointing. It mainly consisted of cereal with milk, a few types of bread rolls, some vegetables, and sliced deli meats. It would have been nice to have at least some eggs or a warm option. Still, if you're just staying overnight and need something quick in the morning, the breakfast was enough to get the day started.

We stayed at Transit Loft in Berlin and had a wonderful experience. The location was super convenient—just a few steps away from a tram stop and very close to Alexanderplatz, which is one of the city’s central and most vibrant areas. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They gave us great recommendations on some must-do tourist spots in Berlin, which really helped us make the most of our trip. Our room had exactly what we had booked: three single beds. Despite that, it was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. There was always hot water available, which is something we really appreciated after long days exploring the city. Breakfast was served daily and was full of fresh goodies—there was a bit of everything to satisfy all tastes. The only thing missing was eggs (dear Transit Loft team, please consider adding them to the menu 😄). We were also told we could refill our water bottles from their water dispenser, which we found incredibly helpful and thoughtful, especially considering how expensive bottled water can be in shops compared to back home in Greece (unless you constantly buy from the supermarket). There was also a vending machine with snacks in the common area, which we really appreciated during our late-night cravings. The atmosphere at the hotel was really nice, partly thanks to the people staying there and also due to the cozy and modern interior design—it all added up to a very cool vibe. If I visit Berlin again, I’ll definitely check Transit Loft first for availability. Highly recommended!

Highly Recommended! This place offers incredible value for the price. It's conveniently located just 20 minutes' walk from Alexanderplatz, making it perfect for exploring Berlin. The reception is open 24/7, which is a big plus, and the staff is always ready to assist with any needs. The room was clean and well-equipped with great facilities. There's a wide variety of breakfast options catering to all tastes, so you'll have plenty to choose from. One standout feature is the friendly and helpful staff who go above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Additionally, large lockers are available near the reception for just 2 euros, offering a secure place for your belongings. I highly recommend this place – it's perfect for both short and long stays in Berlin!

The only thing I felt was missing from the food options was boiled or cooked eggs. Friendly recommendation if it's possible this food to be added in the breakfast. All the rest 10+.

It is in a calm area. The staff were super nice and helpful. The room was spacious. Location was good, 20 minutes walk from Alexanderplatz where the train station is. There is a tram station nearby, too. Yiu can find some restaurants nearby as well. The breakfast was varied and nice.

The pillows weren't very comfortable, and it would have been better if they changed the towels and added more toilet paper in the rooms regularly. We had to ask for them everyday. I think it was the hotel's environment-friendly policy, though.

The staff was lovely. Breakfast is cold food only, but in total a great selection, you can choose everything from sweet to savory things. The location is amazing – tram stops nearby, lots of bars and grocery stores around. The walk to the city centre is beautiful and short. We had no troubles with noise, everything was perfect. The beds are very comfortable and there’s a fan in the room which was very useful for the hot weather we encountered in Berlin.

The rooms had some defects on walls, but it did not really make the stay less brilliant.

Basic and clean. Good value for money. Bathroom was a bit dated but clean. Close to public transport. Beds were very comfortable. Weren't made every day though. Proper German breakfast, with kaiserbrotchen and deutsche brotchen, yoghurt, coffee and waffles.Good enough to get you started in the morning. Cafés for morning coffee are also around the corner. Good place to stay for exploring Berlin.

Haven't had a shower behind a shower curtain for a while, but it was a clean one!!

Great budget hotel, comfortable room and very good breakfast selection. Room big, warm and airy. Staff very helpful. Excellent location and easy to access central Berlin as tram stomach nearby. Loads of shops and restaurants in the area. Would definitely stay again!

The room did not get serviced over the 3 nights we were there, but the bins did get emptied.Main lift was not working, but the service lift was fine to use and did the job. The hotel is absolutely fine, my biggest complaint is that the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. However, we mostly slept well. It was warm, clean, comfortable, staff excellent, good breakfasts, and great value for money.

Very good location, easy connections around the clock with a tram stop almost across the street. Also close to a big grocery store, multiple restaurants and kiosks. Breakfast was included in the price and it was surprisingly good, got our stomachs full every morning. Didn’t hear any noices from the other rooms. Rooms were cleanes every day if you wanted to.

The rooms had no air conditioning, so for the last few days we woke up sweating and had to open all the windows which barely helped. No noise protection from the hallway, could hear everything. The building was old so the air was a bit dry (had us sneezing and coughing all week).

The hotel was very basic but good. Nowadays it's rare to have an included breakfast and I think it was default since no one asked us anything when we came down to eat. The things there were I think what Germans eat for breakfast, which is why the place was full of German people and no tourists whatsoever. The room was big considering we were six people and it was refreshing seeing six single beds instead of bunk beds. The bathroom was very simple and also big because it was also for disabled people, even in the shower.

The only bad thing was that a couple of us had to leave early one day at 7 am and breakfast was served from 7 am so we asked them if they could prepare something for us instead and they said no.
