I stayed for the Lollapalooza festival and it was only a 15 min walk from Savignyplatz S-bahn station which you could get to the Olympic stadium in less than 15mins which was perfect for what I needed. The room was quite spacious and nice. The staff were friendly and helpful and I felt safe in the building. My room was around the corner from the elevator which was really convenient for me and the hotel was peaceful. I found my bed and pillows a bit hard but that could just be personal preference. The breakfast was of a really good quality and was yummy!

The breakfast space was a bit narrow so it was hard to browse and see what you would like on that first day or when there was more than 5 people also getting food.

The multi-lingual staff were welcoming and provided clear information when needed. The breakfast was excellent, with a large choice. The room was comfortable and quiet with good facilities. I had a room overlooking the courtyard. The location is quite good as long as you know you'll need to walk a few minutes to the nearest S-bahn or U-bahn. There's a Lidl very close if you need it. There were a lot of people staying there apparently on business, it would seem like an ideal hotel for that. For some people on holiday, it might feel slightly away from Berlin's bustle - however I was very glad of a place to sleep away from the noisier nightlife areas.

The hotel bar was a bit random, the one evening we did have a beer, the lady disappeared for so long after serving us that we gave up and paid at reception the next day. It wasn't very late and there were lots of customers still in the bar.

Friendly and helpful staff at reception, with a generous welcome surprise in the room as we were staying for a birthday. Very comfortable bed and spacious room with good facilities. Great location, nearby shops and cafes (but far enough away from all the hustle and bustle!) The room was well-stocked with things like tea, a coffee machine, and even a fridge, which made storing snacks and drinks easy. Very enjoyable first visit to Berlin!

While the room itself was clean, the shower tray was stained and the shower curtain had mould/mildew marks. The aircon could only be adjusted by 4 degrees celsius.

Great location, just a 10-minute walk from the station. The staff were very helpful and polite, and we were pleasantly surprised to be allowed to check in 2 hours early. Our room was spacious and bright, with a clean and fresh bathroom. Breakfast was excellent—a generous buffet with options like eggs, rice pudding, fresh bread and pastries, sausages, and more. We especially loved the juicer where you can make your own fresh fruit and vegetable juice. There are fresh fruits and water at the entrance of the hotel that you can enjoy them all the time. If you want to drink coffee or get a cold drink, there is a bar on the right side of the reception. The only downside was a clogged sink in the bathroom, but I’m sure the hotel will take care of it.

The hotel is close to Kurfürstendamm. Shopping occasions and also restaurants are within walking distance. Good choice for breakfast. Room was surprisingly big. Building and rooms are rather modern. Decoration is themed to Andy Warhol - which for me was not so important, but if one is into pop art etc., then one might like it.

Concerning "longer distance local public transport within Berlin", there is a U-Bahn station about 5 minutes walking from the hotel (Uhlandstrasse), but for most destination one has to transfer at least once. Or one has a longer walk to S-Bahn (Savignyplatz), which is more like 10 minutes. Thus: public transport can be done, but includes some walking (or more transfers with buses)

It was great value for money, the rooms were a good size and well appointed. The main bedroom was clean; and we found it a quiet location - very central for public transport. Excellent.

We liked almost everything about the property; particularly the staff, who were most helpful and friendly. The only hitch we had was that the shower didn’t work properly (the handle kept sliding down, so we had to hand hold for a shower), but that was not a game changer for us and we’d definitely stay again

Hotel is in great location, close to both U bahn and S bahn stations for going exploring around Berlin. Staff are very welcoming and happy to help. Breakfast has lots of choice, all fresh and delicious.

The air conditioning in the room didn't work for the period of our stay (3 nights) which we reported, they did offer us a change of room to something else and apologized for any inconvenience, cannot fault the customer service offered by the staff on reception.

The room was quite big, I received a room according to my special request, big thanks to the reception team for this. Finally I slept like a baby after sleepless bombing nights in Kyiv. Bad linen is extremely white and fresh. One of the comfiest bed and pillows have ever I slept. Room has everything you need , even iron and desk already in and nespresso machine. Nice cosmetics Elemis in the bathroom , super puffy towels. All hotel and room are stylish decorated . Banana wardrobe handle is my fav:) Neighborhood is safe , a lot of supermarkets , transport and cafe around. Well done Park Plaza! Thank you

I had a positive experience with the attention to detail at this hotel. It was a pleasant surprise to receive a small treat upon arrival, and the availability of children's games brought great joy to the little one. The staff were extremely friendly, and the room was cleaned quickly and to a high standard upon request, in line with the hotel's eco-friendly approach. The hotel's proximity to train stations is convenient, and the breakfast options were delicious and varied, catering to different tastes. While the rooms may benefit from renovation, I believe this is not a significant issue. The room had a hairdryer, a small refrigerator, a kettle and instant hot drinks. The shower had the necessary care products: gel, shampoo and conditioner, as well as body lotion. Overall, I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The room is super clean and comfy. It is kinda well equipped. I tried the breakfast once, it was so good and has a really good variety of food and very good bakery. The staff at the front desk are really helpful and nice. They received many packages for me during my stay and they were very welcoming. I will def stay again.

Just missing some cutlery or silverware for surviving basic life.
