Comfortable quiet clean room with comfy beds and good shower. Breakfast was varied and of good quality. Coffee was especially excellent. We had an 8 min walk from Düsseldorf Zoo train station after arriving from the airport but we could have also gone 1 more stop south to the next station for a similar walk. Very easy to get about Düsseldorf with a 24 hour up to 5 person ticket but we did walk back to the hotel from the city centre once (about 40 mins). Loved that there was a play area for the kids behind the hotel. Not part of the hotel but was part of the apartment community there. Hotel had everything we needed as we could get a simple dinner and a couple beers there after arriving off the plane and train. Our room was super quiet as we were at the back of the hotel but it would probably be quiet out front too. Staff were superb. All staff. Which is the sign of a good hotel.

Can’t really fault the hotel as everything was fabulous but one niggle was the top bunk beds. Our family room was bunk beds. The adults slept on top as the gap to fall down off the bed was a bit bigger than we were comfortable with for our pre-teen kids. It was probably fine but we were nervous to let kids up there. Beds were comfy so was ok but 3 nights was enough for me going up a ladder. 😁

Hotel staff's behaviors were very good. Cleaning was good. The hotel was not far from the central places. The hotel's room was hot. The staff changed the towels and linens.

Hotel's breakfast was good but we had 2 problems. It was same all days. The children like to eat fries but unfourtunately there was not fries or potatos. Hotel's restaurant was crowded for this reason sometimes we were hard to find a place for sitting. And I had been know that hotel's car park was free but It was not. The staff helped me for payment and they discounted for me.

Great hotel for the price. Family of 4 sharing a room with bunkbeds. More spacious than other hotels offering a room for 4 people (which usually involves a fold out bed squeezed into the room - here we actually had 4 proper beds!). Clean and comfortable. Basic (i.e. no kettle in the room etc) but had everything we needed and happy for the price we paid. Good 'Hub' (i.e. restaurant) which suited our needs for breakfast and an easy dinner one night. Had a few issues (difficulty finding parking space in the underground garage, broken room door lock and had to swap rooms) but the staff were helpful and sorted the issues quickly. Great location, short walk to the tram station into town.

I have stayed in H2 for over 9 nights across multiple bookings. Very well furnished, comfy beds, great sound proofing, excellent air conditioning, one of the best breakfasts (and selection) in Germany! The rooms have good showers and televisions with Satellite. Fantastic for us staying to enjoy Euro 2024. Dusseldorf is a fantastic place to stay and H2 is only 25 mins walk to the middle of the old town.

My only issues are quite small. It takes 20 minutes per booking to check in. When there’s a queue of 6 people, that means you’re waiting close to 1.5 hour to check in. Multiple guests had issues with the room key cards randomly stopping working, due to the door mechanism battery running down. This then took 20 minutes and an argument to get the key cards reset/the door smart lock mechanism to be charged by staff. H2 needs to recognise there’s an issue with the key cards rather than get defensive. Housekeeping tries to come in every hour, even after the room has already been done, which is a bit odd.

The breakfast buffet was very good. Fruit, cereal, cooked breakfast, meat and cheeses, breads, juices and hot drinks. A great choice. Food was served till very late and there was a good buzz in the hotel. The price was very reasonable. Only e400 for 3 nights for 4 people including breakfast.

The breakfast area was very crowded. Although the beds were comfortable and the ensuite and separate toilet lovely, the rooms were very basic with lino on the bedroom floor, not even carpet. We did know this in advance however. We got chicken legs as a snack one evening. They were pink inside and cold. I returned them and was given a replacement.

The hotel was good, rooms were clean, breakfast was really tasty. The reception has an issue but just with one guy: there is a guy who doesn't speak proper english nor does he care if you have a problem ( young guy, a bit chubby with a beard). We arrived late and there was no parking available even though we selected this hotel for having parking and instead of helping us he was literally useless telling us to go to some place we obviously don't know . Luckily we didn't meet him twice during our stay and the rest of the staff were really nice and helpful

The first receptionist we met was totally useless, giving directions to tourists like we know the city . He couldn't even tell us the parking was full, i suppose he likes to waste time.

We stayed here for the sole purpose of attending the Coldplay concert. The hotel was not too far from city centre, Little Tokyo and the train station. We had a quadruple room for our family which was planned really well, albeit a bit tight on space for our bags. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well too. Fabulous breakfast spread was included and was the highlight of our stay. The restaurant downstairs had a good variety and was well priced, though we didn't eat there.

Nothing really, we had a perfectly comfortable stay.

Location and amenities are superb, unfortunately we want an add on when my another friend came to meet me and we asked them for an extra bed and they asked 4 times of normal price, they receptionist was student and they don't have much knowledge or they were not decision makers, if the toom was available and asking for high price, was not a fare deal, rest all was fine.

Reception handling was done by students and experience hands are less, moreover last moment sale they were trying to get high price, when we asked for an add on. Moreover they know we were tourist trying to charge high price than normal with rooms are available well enough, Das ist kaput.

The breakfast was okay, and not impressive for me.

A modern and well-maintained hotel in a pleasant and quiet area, just a 15-minute walk from the city center. The staff is very friendly, and the room was clean. The breakfast offers a variety of options, although there’s no fish. 5 min walk you can find delicious cinnamon rolls at the Copenhagen Coffee Lab. In room 333, the faucet is loose (it works, but wobbles), the pillows are extremely thin, and the bathroom door is hard to close. There was also no kettle in the room. The two elevators are almost always occupied, but the stairs are a much faster alternative. The ladder to the upper bunk bed is slippery and not very convenient, so children need to be supervised. Additionally, not all bedside lamps were working.
