It was our first travel with our baby, so we were quite stressed. Everything went very smoothly - the room was big, with a crib, warm, quiet. The beds were comfortable. We could keep baby milk in the fridge. Internet worked well. The location was a plus - the hotel is located in a neighborhood that looked quiet and safe, the parking had lots of room (12 euro extra). The tram stop to go to the center was in less than 5 minutes by foot, and then it's about 15 minutes by tram. The tram tickets can be bought in the tram itself (there is a ticket machine there), or later I discovered a public transport application in English, with plenty of ticket options, we took a 24-hour option. The breakfast is served during weekends, but we preferred to eat in the center. There is a boulangerie in 50 meters (we didn't go there, for the next time!), and a local restaurant in 200 meters (good traditional food, but closed on Sundays). We liked Dusseldorf a lot and would like to come back.

We liked everything, but a water boiler would be great to drink a hot tea after a long day.

Loved that the property is in a small village, within a short walk of S-Bahn Hamm stop which is a short distance from Düsseldorf main train station (Hbf) and airport. Property is quiet in the evening, perfect for a great night sleep and yet within easy reach of the city center. We stayed in the suite which was nicely organized and decorated. Very comfortable for 3-4 people with a shared, in-suite bath. The kids loved the rustic, beach, surf vibe decor. Felt like a beach holiday. Extremely nice and accommodating staff. (Dennis was super helpful and made sure breakfast was to everyone's liking as we follow a vegetarian diet.) Would certainly return and we highly recommend!

absolutely great breakfast, with such nice personnel. The location was just perfect..very accessible to transportation near the city and yet away enough from the hustle and bustle of it. It reminds me of towns outside of the city of Japan..,

I loved that we were by the balcony but unfortunately when other guests decides to smoke then it feels like being in a smoking rm and one has to endure even if you dont smoke

The Hotel was more than comfortable, the host was very sweet and made us feel good. Lunch was great and unlimited. The staff were utterly helpful and very generous. I would recommend everyone who is visiting Dusseldorf to make themselves booked to this place. High standards are maintained with affordable price its rare to find something like that in an expensive city.

Nothing, It was one great of an experience!

Beautiful hotel, very clean and bright and modern with fabulous decor and lots of personal touches. Great service, wonderful experience. The location is extraordinary, Hamm is a rural village yet its only 10 mins away from dusseldorf centre on tram 706 which runs every ten mins, the stop is a three minute walk from the hotel. The S11 train runs direct from the airport to a stop which again is a three minute walk to the hotel. Everything on your doorstep and you get to stay in a place where you can hear the birds sing and smell the beautiful countryside all around !! Peter and Melanie could not have been more accommodating, allowing us to check in early on first day and to store our bags till evening after checkout on the last day. Overall a great break and we hope to return some day !

It was spacious and had everything we could need except for a microwave.

We ended up with a few people not making it to the trip and we paid for two lodging. We only got one to stay in eventhough we already paid for the two... the beds were also very cheap, i got to sleep in a proper bed, but to friends of mine had to sleep on a pull out couch. If we would have gotten the two lodgings we could all have slept in beds.

A lovely small hotel in a village type location but very close to the centre of Dusseldorf. The decor is light and airy with touches of blue. Room very spacious, comfortable and quiet. A nice change from big chain hotels. The owner Peter was very friendly and helpful and Melanie was so good and patient with the booking adjustments we had to make. Really nice breakfast selection with eggs cooked to order. Proper pot of tea! Only a few minutes by taxi to a range of restaurants and a 10-15 min walk to the river with one or two bars and restaurants.

Unfortunately the small restaurants in the 'village' close on Monday and Tuesday night. Would be nice to have facility in room to make a hot drink.

Clean, spacious apartment located outside the city. The apartment is spacious and clean, located in a quiet residential area outside of Dusseldorf. Two options for train transport into the city center are within 10 minutes walk from apartment. Host was very friendly and available at any time for assistance if needed.

The beds were a bit uncomfortable and very noisy whenever you adjust your position. Also, the shower doors are in need of repair or replacement and a deep cleaning. There were several spots of mold in the shower area.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel, its very cozy and clean. Very spacious rooms and perfectly located. The staff were very friendly. Lovely breakfast with many varieties. We will certainly come back again next time in Düsseldorf.

Lovely hosts, very homely. Train goes from the airport directly to DHamm - local train stop literally less than 5 mins from the hotel. Lovely rural feeling, although you are in a city. Rooms are spacious & spotless.. We would definitely recommend a stay at this wonderful home away from home 🏡
