The view from the bedroom is just amazing. We had a balcony with a gorgeous view of the lake. The rooms are huge, very spacious, with a big closet, and lots of space to put your bags. The breakfast is very good, and they work as restaurant on evenings, so it's possible to have dinner there as well. The bathroom is large and the shower is good. The staff was very nice, everything was clean.

Nothing that we didn't like. But since we are traveling with kids, it would be great if they had some kind of playground. Also, they have parking, but it's sort of small compared to the number of guests, so it's possible you won't get a spot. There's public parking on the street though, and it's free from around 7 or 8pm to 9am. One thing we didn't like so much is that instead of a double bed, they have two single beds put together, but I noticed that's sort of common around Germany.

This hotel is on the main drag in Füssen, running alongside the lake and overlooking it. We had one of the lodge rooms, with a great lake view. The room was huge, with a large double bed, large sofa/settee and comfy armchair. It was perfect for sharing with two large dogs. They do a very good breakfast, and dinner. They turned round some clothes washing for me in four hours, which is fast by hotel standards. The staff are extraordinarily friendly, and they all make a huge effort with English.

The parking is good but a bit complicated and a bit chaotic. We didn't know about the free parking pass until the day before we left. It would be better to give out a parking leaflet to arriving guests, explaining how it all works, and explaining about the free parking pass.

Location was perfect! 👍 Peaceful and uninterrupted view of the lake and Alps! Just a short drive to the castles in Füssen (10min max). 👍We were happy to stay here where it was more peaceful , compared to beautiful, but busy Fuessen. Plenty of choices for restaurants, cafes 👍 The south facing rooms (the “logias “) which face the lake are highly recommended! 👍 Breakfast was wonderful, with tables overlooking the lake and alps. Perfect! 👍 Great service! Friendly and helpful staff!👍 Sauna 👍 Parking 👍 Walk/hike/stroll/cycle - any level 👍 We will go back if we’re in that area again 👍

Clean and comfortable room with my own balcony and a great view of the lake and mountains, very spacious room with table, chair and TV and a wardrobe. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. Breakfast in the mornings was plentiful, hot and cold food, scrambled eggs, bacon, selection of breads and selection of meats, cheeses, yoghurts and fruit, fresh coffee served at your table. Restaurant had a good selection of traditional dishes, good service and all with a lake and mountain view. Parking for motorcycle and cars, motorcycle parked under cover.

Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Geiger. Fantastic location right on the Hopfensee, beautiful views if the sunrise on the mountains. Room itself was very spacious and comfortable and quiet. I really enjoyed the restaurant too, creative and delicious dishes. And the morning breakfast was excellent.

All was excellent, I highly recommend this hotel. I might add that if you're planning to explore the castles, you may want to rent a car. There is a bus into Füssen, but then you'll need to coordinate your schedule around the bus. Plus, it's really beautiful driving around the area.

This is a beautiful place ! The location is breathtaking with mountain view and it’s only 5’ walk to the cute little center. It is an older property but it was clean which matters the most to us! The mini bar was for free with some tasty beer, sodas, apple juice and water !Breakfast was amazing !! Also I have to mention that hotel staff was super kind, helpful and friendly !! From the moment of check in you feel welcomed! We loved it so much we would definitely chose it again if we are lucky enough to come back to Garmisch!

We had a wonderful meal in the dining room on our first night and the view facing the lake was fantastic.

Not the hotel's fault but the guests in the street level room below were very noisy and playing music and smoking and the smoke and smell came up to the room so we had to shut the balcony doors which was disappointing as the weather was beautiful as is the view.

The breakfast was nice.

There was not always space to park the car and then you had to park the car on a public parking place, which cost a little. I missed a nearby charging station for a plug in hybrid car (Type c connector)

Nice big rooms and great to have a little fridge. Super to have live music some nights. (Finished at an early time so didn’t disturb those who don’t like music).

The pillows weren’t great. It would have been nice to have tea making facility in the room. Breakfast was basic but fine.

The Geiger hotel is incredible, the facilities are beautiful and clean, the personnel is very polite and very helpful. The main suite is like a dream. The location is perfect and the breakfast, delicious. I will return to this beautiful place in the mountains and hotel as often as I can.
