We liked Casa Maria very much. Good parking. Very dogfriendly. Good breakfast. Clean rooms. Good beds. Terrasse_Balcony. Nice staff.

We liked everything. But we can give some recommendations for new input. The rastplats for the dogs, could have a fence around it. At last near the "nightdoor"...In the night it would be nice, when the dog want to walk around. The balconies are very good and nice to have.. a real PLUS! And they are beside each other... they have fences between each other.. BUT: small dogs can run away under them.. but the owner not :-) my dogs came back so I did not have to push the "emergency-button" ;-) COULD BE BUILT WITH AN EXTRA ADDED NET OR SOMETHING NEAR THE FLOOR. Then perfekt.

The location of Casa Maria was fabulous, across the bus stop, and situated very conveniently close to hiking and bike routes that overlooked a mountain range and lush green Bayern landscape. The room was quiet, nice, bright, clean, and smelt nice and had a beautiful view. The restaurant was very convenient and served delicious Italian fare and wine for dinner. A nice breakfast buffet spread was included in my booking, so was very convenient.

The shower head was leaky, and the bath exhaust fitting seemed haphazardly fitted. Since we stayed for one night, it didn't matter much.

We had a great room with a terrace and a view of the mountains and...Neuschwanstein Castle (it was far away but zooming in on the phone allowed me to see it). Clean room, very good breakfasts with a wide selection. Friendly service. Thanks to the kindness of the receptionist, we were able to check in an hour earlier, so we still had time to buy tickets for the castle and visit it. I highly recommend it.

Great buffet breakfast in the morning. I also noticed that this place was a restaurant- thus you could go and grab meals during the day-time if you liked. Room was pleasant- comfortable beds, clean/hot showers. I also found it very close to lots of tourist destinations including Neuschwanstein Castle and Fussen. It was also very quiet at night-time/easy to go to sleep.

A very confortable room for one night and a good breakfast. Casa Maria is 10 minutes away from Neuschwanstein Castle and the whole area is very beautiful. The room had a small terrace which was nice as well.

Restaurant isn't open on Mondays and Tuesdays... so we couldn't have neither lunch nor dinner, only breakfast, which was nice. There was no much soap left to wash hands in the room but for the shower there was enough.

To sum it up: Liked EVERYTHING! This rating comes from a 100% German that's very picky ....! 1. Hotel Facilities and Room were very clean! 2. Room itself was beautiful (down to the smallest details!) with an attached balcony and fabulous view, there was even a table with an ashtray and chairs on the balcony! 3. Dining Rooms (yes, there are more than one!) have a great cozy set up! The awesome self-serve breakfast included freshly cut German Cheese and Wurst, just baked German Bread and Rolls, Cereals, German Jelly and Pastries. Besides regular Coffee, there is also Cappuccino, Latte, Tea and Milk to choose from! 4. The evening of our arrival, we had an awesome dinner in the Hotel Dining Room. The dinner was prepared by the Italian Owner of the Hotel that is also a Chef! I noticed, that there were lots of Guests there just to eat dinner, which requires reservations for people not staying in the hotel. The Menu features great, mostly Italian Specialties - the dining room was full of people and that on a Thursday evening! 5. Reception: The area was very clean and pleasantly set up / decorated. The Receptionists were very friendly with a "no hassle -" and make you feel "like you are family" attitude! Overall, I must say, that, in my opinion, this Hotel really deserves the Award that it received for this year! Salute!

There is not one thing I did not like!

Beautiful property, we managed to book last minute on our travels and all the staff were very accommodating! From the lady behind the front desk when we arrived to the gentleman that was there before we departed, and the gentleman that served us during breakfast, all either spoke amazingly good English and were very polite or were just very helpful in general!

Staff was very sweet, hotel was clean, water was hot, and area was quaint and quiet. The perfect place to stay if you want to visit Neuschwanstein via car, as you need to drive 20-30min to get the the foot of the mountain. The breakfast was awesome, had so many options - ranging from eggs, bacon, homemade yogurts, meats, coffee, tea, etc.

Nothing. The rooms, staff, and our stay were all wonderful.

The breakfast was simple, with few options but satisfying. The location was great, with free parking, which was nice. The castles were close. The Garmich was a 1-hour drive away — overall, great locale to have a base camp when going hiking in the Alps—note — not car travelers only. The staff was lovely, friendly, and organized. Rooms were fresh after renovation, very clean, and with the most comfortable beds. Nice view from the terrace :)

There was no mini fridge, kettle, or safe in the room. Rooms were not well isolated from the outside sounds — you could hear other people in the corridor when they passed by. The breakfast could have had a better selection — scarce offering for vegetarians. The bar/restaurant did not have plant milk for vegans.

Great facilities. Bigger and comfortable rooms, with a balcony. The breakfast was great. Try also the restaurant for lunch/dinner. It was not too expensive even being phew kms away from the castle area. Also, good hiking spot.

If it had a swimming pool, it was even better. But in the surroundings you've got other options.
