Our room and en-suite bathroom were clean and spacious. The location of the hotel is quiet and semi-rural, yet convenient for the motorway, and there's ample parking space. The breakfast was very decent. The wifi was secure and reliable. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Everything was actually pretty much as I'd expected, given the price, the fact that ours was just an overnight stay on the way to somewhere else, and previous experience of German hotels. Here are a couple of things that prospective guests may want to consider, though: The mattress was maybe a bit on the soft side. If you want an evening meal somewhere other than the hotel's own restaurant, you'll have to drive there, as there's nothing else within walking distance.

The Deutsches Haus is a great hotel. The location is very good, just outside Hamburg in a quiet village. Very good if you're traveling to Hamburg by car or van, but don't want to get stuck in the city with its parking issues. Safe free parking on the premises. The rooms are a good size, bathroom was a bit small, but functional. Breakfast was good! But best of all: the staff is super friendly! I highly recommend this hotel!

Quiet, relaxing neighborhood outside the big city. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Very comfortable bed and clean room and bathroom. The breakfast was filling with diverse options. The schnitzels we had in the on-site restaurant were delicious! Don't miss visiting.

We visited during the wet summer time and a mosquito net/screen on the window would have been nice to have to keep the window open during the night.

Large comfortable room , good shower, good breakfast and lovely location. Close enough to town for local shopping but rural setting which was very pretty, a good find !

Had front room and had to keep windows closed because of traffic noise. Although rural, was a busy road with cars passing by very fast.

Large free parking area in front of the hotel, everything was nice and clean, the bathroom and shower are large enough, the staff was nice and helpful, and the price was rather inexpensive.

Location was nice, it was n7ce to stay out of town Room was clean and well presented. All was done for comfort stay. Kind personal, who was helpful and friendly.
