Great hotel near centre of the city. Handy underground parking (probably not suitable for wide cars). Lovely variety of classic decor around the hotel including a nice outdoor area and various breakfast rooms. Room was large and comfy. Great huge TV. Sparkling water in room. Breakfast was excellent with a vast choice of items.

There were none of the usual instructions in the room; but we didn't comment on this. We found an open wifi called 'LAN1' but it was slow and probably insecure so we just used 5G. We received several annoying dodgy direct emails from the hotel before and after the booking, asking us to click a link to use their app and fill in some forms. We ignored all these and had no problem checking in anyway.

Hotel Kubler is, without a doubt, a consistently excellent choice when visiting Karlsruhe. For the past fifteen years, we have had the pleasure of staying here, and each time, it never fails to impress. The hotel's prime location, offering easy access to the city's key attractions while remaining nestled in a tranquil yet central area, is always a significant draw.

While our recent stay at the hotel was generally pleasant, we did encounter some issues with the condition of certain rooms. It became apparent that some of the rooms could benefit from maintenance, as a few elements were showing signs of wear and tear.

A hotel located very close to the campus of the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, with super clean and comfortable rooms, offering the best service, from comfortable retro-style accommodation to the preparation of the most diverse dishes served in the hotel's own restaurant located in the garden behind the hotel, all together integrated into the best example of the German hospitality, to which the entire staff contributed. If I had stayed longer, I would definitely have been able to mention more positive aspects, but I hope to return soon.

Oh, this is such an amazing place! I really loved the old decor of the room, the bathtub, and the cleanliness. The bed was very comfortable. The location is good, very close to the city.

I need to deduct one star for the parking situation. There's parking right in front of the hotel, which is prohibited for non-residents. There's a parking spot across the street, which is only free from 10pm to 8am, otherwise a whopping 4€ per hour. The suggested hotel option is a dilapidated underground parking lot for 9€ per day (or 1.50€ per hour). If I arrived with a tall car or a roofbox (which I didn't carry this time), I would be afraid to enter this area, as there is no height information but many tunnels with a narrow and low exit gate.

The room was comfortable. The beds were comfortable. And the breakfast was great (though there was a disconnect when I had paid for 2 people in a double room and the hotel had received only 1 breakfast payment). In all fairness, I had booked through booking.com. in short, I had to pay for 1 breakfast twice. The hotel honored our early check-in. The staff were professional, and the location great.

There were some construction; no big deal. But getting from the garage to hotel was a bit confusing.

The hotel and room had a lot of character, and the décor leaned heavily into the Victorian-era ambience. Reception was very helpful and handled everything in English as I do not speak German. The location is great, close to the center of town but far enough to not be noisy.

The room was fairly cramped and basic; this wasn't a problem for me but may be noted by other travelers. Finding the connected restaurant/bierhaus was quite challenging the first time.

I just spent a short night there, so didn't have breakfast (looked good,!) and didn't sleep long. So I didn't really mind the noise coming from the street directly under my window. I think otherwise that would have been a bit annoying I think for a longer stay a waterkettle in the room or a little fridge would be convenient

All fine, stop over while cycling. Storage for the bike could be improved. Interior style of the hotel a bit 'special' but it was good value. Breakfast pretty good and included in the price.

There is storage for the bikes but not much, seemed to be full of dusty unused bikes. Also you'll need a lock because though it's an underground car park it could be easily accessed by the public. That said, I had no issues, but I'd prefer a lockable room for bikes.

The room was ok, I like the design of the hotel. A complementary sparkling water was provided. A cup of champagne was provided at the bar, and also a voucher for breakfast, even though I did not use neither of these. The location was ok I guess, near the Europa Platz.

There were some weird insects in the bathroom, the facilities were a bit old. Also the design of the hotel is interesting, but I could imagine it is not super easy for older people and people with big luggage.

This is just an absolutely charming hotel to stay at. Its unmistakably stylish and quirky design paired with excellent service is a wonderful combination for everyone looking to visit Karlsruhe. The rooms are very clean, tidy and comfy, plus there is a brewery on site which guests receive special coupons for. Asides the overall atmosphere being lovely inside the hotel and brewery; the location is lovely, quiet and convenient, being only a five minute walk away from the central city area. We loved everything and will definitely be coming back.
