I would say that for the price, this hotel is an excellent place to stay. The location is convenient, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. I would especially like to thank the man at the front desk, who went above and beyond to help me store my bags at the hotel until I was picked up in the evening.

I found the décor to be a little unusual and the hotel was often very dark until the sensor lights activated, but noting to make the stay unpleasant.

The Hotel Royal in Karlsruhe, Germany, located just a five-minute walk from the city center, tops all expectations. It features modern amenities, including a refrigerator and safe, and offers spotless cleanliness at very reasonable prices. The staff, especially Anna and Bela, are extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful. I am confident that if I visit Karlsruhe again, I will choose to stay at this hotel.

When we arrived, our rooms weren't yet ready, but we were willing to wait. However, the staff at the reception was very friendly and professional, offered us better and bigger rooms and free drinks. It was very much appreciated. The rooms were big, with a good size shower/ toilet room, very clean and nicely decorated. The hotel is closed to the city centre, with many shops and restaurants

Everything was great

The room was very clean, the staff prepared it in time for my early check in. The location was great for connections with public transport or walking to the city center. The room was small but cozy, had everything I would need for a short stay (mini fridge, shower, coat rack, safe). Definitely value for money.

Minor comment, but the gym was inaccessible during my stay.

I loved everything about the hotel, the space was great for the price, the staff member who I had seen most of the days was chill and very friendly and HUMAN. It was situated in a very comfortable place that is close to most general stores and places you’d need to visit. The lady at the time working the reception was very helpful, relatable and it helped so much that she was English speaking, it made my stay even more comfortable.

There’s nothing I didn’t like, everything was perfect in my eyes.

There was no person at the reception. But the fully digital system worked smoothly.

24/7 check-in air conditioning quality bedding spacing of the rooms (the building is large, but there aren't many rooms relative to the space, so you often get a very quiet room) very late and efficient check-out ample soap, shampoos, and bath towels

the decor is kitschy/leather/marble/flashy, but you can't have everything (and to each their own) rooms are pretty small, plan to leave your stuff at the hotel and go out visiting the city

We had the larger rooms under the roof, offering a charming view of a typical main avenue and more grooming products than expected. The 24/7 check-in with a separate card for each guest was extremely convenient. This is my go-to address for the best value in terms of price and location.

There’s no dedicated parking lot, so you’ll need a bit of luck to find a free spot on a nearby street.

The location was really good and the room was comfortable. The bathroom was nice and very clean.

We had to wait more than 30 min to get our room although we arrived far after the check in time. Our key was programmed for 1 night only although we booked two nights.

The hotel is very well located, is small, and the personal is very helpfull. In room you have a small fridge and you are welcome with a bottle of water. The bed is very good and the price also. The breakfast is continental, but the coffe is very good.

It can be a little more clean :(
