The hotel is located in an excellent spot - a few minutes walk away from the nearest Metro station; close to a big mall with restaurants and shops, and not too far away from the city's University. The room was clean and spacious, equipped with a kettle and a tea/ coffee set. What was exceptionally wonderful was the extra set of pillows available in the closet. The staff were friendly, professional, and with an excellent command of English. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of sweet and sour options (the coffee was amazing!). Overall, the Premier Inn is a wonderful spot to stay in if you visit the Ruhr region. Thank you to the staff for the accommodating stay!

Nothing was amiss, my stay was truly wonderful! :)

The decor was modern and to a high standard. Parking on site was underground. Air conditioning in the room worked well. Shower had the option of rainfall head which was nice. Breakfast had good selection. Bed was comfortable and a good size. Mood lighting was good for reading or using your phone.

Hotel corridors, lobby and restaurant was very warm. Locality didn't feel totally safe. Local restaurants were 15 mins walk away. Shower door was a bit tight to squeeze through. Lighting by main mirror could be improved. Parking could be cheaper.

Great location to explore the city, staff were always friendly and helpful and bar appeared to be always open, which was great.

Initially our room air conditioning did not work so the room was far too hot to sleep and quite uncomfortable. Luckily we had two bookings so changed rooms for the 2nd booking, but again, we experienced an issue as the TV stopped working, we reported this but it never got fixed before we left.

Location of hotel is good within walking distance of shops, station, restaurants etc. Rooms are a good size and breakfast is good and is available early if you need it. Good hotel generally and would go there again.

Storage for clothes, personal holiday items is OK but limited. Other Premier Inn's are better in that respect.

The service was nice! The rooms were quiet and the city centre was in walking distance.

The kitchen could use a place to put your dirty dishes, like a rack or a table. With so many toppings pancakes would be nice at breakfast, but that's a minor detail. The rooms should have been warm on arrival. Ours was but our friends room was cold at first.

Being woken up every morning by room service knocking on other doors (not even mine!) across the corridor and saying "room service" out loud. If I'm on holiday, I don't appreciate not being able to sleep in. I found the access to the bathroom to be rather impractical (the door has to be closed from the inside in order to reach the toilet.

Room was very clean, big enough for the days there, staff were very helpful, good luggage storage, location is good too.

Breakfast is not bad, but they ran out of bread for toast and other items during my stay which did not get corrected. Also one guy working hard to do everything. Food quality was very good despite problems. Also one lift was out of action for whole of my stay.

For the location to be so close to a town, it was loverly and quiet. I went for my first time in Germany for my baby moon and Christmas market. The staff was nice but very slow at getting things done. The rooms were very clean.

Parking is in a separate lot which is a bit expensive with no discount for staying in the hotel.

Perfect location, close to the centre but quiet enough. It was great to get free parking nearby for our van, which was too high to access the underground hotel parking.

Our stay was great, only small negative is the price of the breakfast and maybe lack of choice of meals for lunch or dinner at the hotel but there are many restaurants within walking distance.

Lovely hotel, that is not expensive. Not big, yet lovely park in front of it. Beds were extremely comfortable. Bus stop right in front of the hotel. Nice room and bathroom overall, quite bright, with big windows. AC worked perfectly.

Not the best location, around 20 minutes walk from the center. Some things were dated, and some dust and minor stains on the curtains.
