The hotel is very close to the Old Town, with two metro stations nearby. The room had everything we need, the kitchenette was very well-equipped. We had complementary beers and water in the fridge waiting for us. The room itself is arranged very well, with a small table to have a snack or work. The breakfast was very good, with a good selection of meets and cheeses, pastries and fruits, with possibility to make freshly squeezed juice.

The room soundproofing is very bad: we had a door connecting our and a room next to us, and we heard everything happening in that room (even when they were stirring tea in the cup with a spoon). So if you are sensitive to sound - ask for a room without this connecting door.

A tale of two rooms. We went with another couple, we got a free upgrade to a spacious apartment with a balcony, our friends had the business standard room with no balcony. As there is no air conditioning and it was very hot weather, I would recommend paying a bit more for a room with a balcony. Otherwise the rooms are good value for the money we paid. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great. The hotel stocked the fridge with water every day and there were also complimentary bottles of beer. We would stay again, only a twenty minute walk into the old town which is great.

Could be noisy if your room is on the front of the hotel overlooking the main street. No air conditioning.

We liked the balcony. The kitchen was equipped with everything you needed. When we arrived, we found 2 bottles of water and 2 beers in the fridge and in front of the reception, you could choose juice or tea from the guests fridge. And when we left, we received 2 gingerbread cookies.

The hotel was on the street and there were no places to park the car in order to go and check in. After we checked in, we found out that the hotel’s underground parking was full or at least that’s what we wear told. We had to look for parking on another street near the hotel. We found the last available spot. The room was small, the bed was right in front of the balcony door and it was very hot. It was 30 degrees outside and the fan in the room couldn’t handle the heat. We ended up sleeping the whole night with the fan on and the balcony door open. If something were done about the air conditioning, everything would be fine.

Lovely little room, designed well to have maximum facilities. It was very hot when I was there but the fan was effective enough. A lovely little balcony was also nice. The tiny kitchen was a bit fiddly space wise but it was perfectly workable and I only wanted a few snacks things. It was a nice extra. Bed and linen were nice and comfy. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I am a fresh coffee person so instant doesn't do it for me, thought this let the stay down slightly. Nothing else really except location but that was my own fault for not looking properly!

I really loved this place, when I go back to Nuremberg next year I will see if I can stay here again. Bed was very comfortable, the room was big and had a kitchenette, I didn't need it but it was great to have it. The shower was wonderful, no tub but not needed. It is far away from the city center, but it is located a block away from the U-Bahn, so it is quiet, clean, ample, comfortable and within 10 min distance from the center. What's not to like?

The price was a little high, but I guess it depends on the season. This was a last minute trip and many other places were already booked, but now I know where to stay so I can book in advance to prevent very high prices.

Very spacious room, clean and neat. Kitchenette is well equipped, complimentary mini bar a very nice surprise. Friendly staff, most of them speak English very well. Amazing breakfast with great choices for people with food limitations (gluten free, lactose free & vegan options). Walking distance from a city center.

The rooms were too hot, we couldn’t put the temperature down. It really almost felt like a sauna. Bed not so comfortable, bed sheets were from a material that makes so much sound when moving even just a tiny bit - not so pleasant, especially when sharing room with children.

Staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs.

While the room had been renovated, the lobby and corridors of the hotel were straight from the 90s, which isn't a problem really, but we hadn't seen that in a hotel in a long time (lots of shiny gold fixtures and trimmings, "Dallas-style"! Like a blast from the past. The heated floor of the bathroom ran super hot the whole time we were there without any possibility to turn it off -- the room was consequently quite hot. As for the location, if you're coming to Nurnberg to visit the old town, know that this hotel is outside this area and is definitely off a 'big city' street that is utterly devoid of charm, I'm afraid. But it's close to the S-bahn from which you can quickly escape to a more pleasant part of town.

Good location next to the town center. Underground parking is right under the hotel and the entrance to it is only 10 m away from the hotel's entrance. If you have a car bigger than mid-size, the parking may become a little challenging but it's a common issue for such kind of parkings. Very good breakfast plus your can have it on an outer terrace. Quite a large enough safe box in the room, which easily fit two laptops and would have fit two more.

No ventilation or AC in the rooms so when it's more than +20 degrees outside it gets really uncomfortable to stay in the room. Opening the balcony door doesn't help much since the windows and balcony face the same side, there is no air movement at all. Plus if some people are sitting on the neighbouring balconies, you hear their talk and this noise doesn't help falling asleep as well.

The hotel's impeccable cleanliness standards are truly commendable, as evidenced by the consistently spotless rooms that were meticulously maintained by the dedicated staff members who ensured they were cleaned daily. The attention to detail extended not only to the overall tidiness of the accommodations but also to the thoughtful gesture of keeping the minibar constantly restocked with beer and still water. This level of service reflects a commitment to exceeding guest expectations and creating a comfortable environment for visitors. By upholding such high standards of cleanliness and attentive care, the hotel sets itself apart as a professional establishment that prioritizes customer satisfaction and goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay for all guests.

There is very little about my stay at the Living Hotel that I didn't like. I've would like to have gotten a cheaper rate. But that won't prevent me from booking in the future.

The Living Hotel is well located, 23 minutes from the old city center and a maximum of 8 minutes from the metro station. The area is quiet and beautiful. The staff was very kind, they offered me a very nice room because I told them it will be my birthday in two days and I also received a gift from the hotel. Unfortunately, I couldn't take the cosmetic products I received because their weight is not accepted in hand luggage on the plane. Breakfast, although not very varied, was always fresh and tasty. The room, on two levels, was very clean and spacious, had access to a small private terrace overlooking the garden and a well-equipped kitchen. However, I would have liked to have a wine and beer opener in the kitchen. Cleaning was done daily and towels were changed also daily. I found the mattress and pillows very comfortable. .

One disturbing thing was that I didn't have the king size mattress but two mattresses next to each other. Another disturbing thing was that the sink in the bathroom had a malfunction and I would have preferred to fix it rather than offer us another room.
