Although checkin was listed as 3.00 pm, we arrived early and were allowed access to our room. This was particularly appreciated as we were travelling by bike and it had been a rainy day. Our twin room was a decent size with a small adjacent anti room containing a sofa. Breakfast was the usual continental style and was adequate. A large garage was available to store our bikes and, although the door was not locked, we were able to adequately secure the bikes. The train station is right across the road and there is a supermarket only minutes away.

The male staff member who checked us in was certainly not a barrel of laughs. Although polite and helpful, he could have been more pleasant and friendly. The hotel is not located in the old town so there is a walk of about a kilometre to get there. This may disuade some people.

The hotel was very close to the historic old town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, just a few minutes walk away - we travelled by car but the rail station was opposite so perfect if using the train. We had breakfast both mornings we stayed and really enjoyed what was on offer. Our room which was very clean with a comfortable bed was on the front of the hotel and there was traffic noise from the road outside but the excellent windows shut kept it to a minimum. All the staff we encountered were polite and helpful.

A kettle and coffee/tea-making facilities would have been nice in the room.

Comfortable beds with comfortable nice and clean linen. 4 beds in room so we could stay with our kids and not to be split. The temperature in room was always perfect , not cold in chilli nights or too hot no matter if we left window opened in bathroom. Train station only across road which we loved after our all day travel. And only 3 min across road to grocery store !

Shower didn’t have enough pressure , hair drier was aged and over heating

The room was large with a small balcony and a large bathroom. The A/C worked perfectly at cooling down the room and while the hotel is outside the main city area, it is a five minute walk into town. There was also easy and convenient parking on the premises. They are also pet friendly.

It's an old building which has a specific smell but it wasn't a big deal or something opening the windows didn't help.

Beautiful room, cosy and warm, great hospitality. The receptionist was really kind and helpful. The room had towels, shower gel, hair dryer and two small plastic cups for drinking water.

There was so much noise from the street, which was annoying during the night. The hotel is near the station (good location), but because of that there is so much noice from the highway. There were no shutters, only curtains, so you could also see the lights from the cars outside. The bathroom was really small and the sink was outside of it, as a part of the room. So you had to go out of the bathroom to wash your hands. Also, the pillows were not that comfortable.

The property is very opposite to station, the lady at reception was very courteous and overall supportive staff. Rooms very neat, clean and so were the linens. They helped us for early checking by an hour.

Our room door kept banging moment someone else open or closes their door due to rooms being bit old. The layout of room was not right, the television was behind the bed/head, so cannot watch lying in your bed. The toilet was extremely small and towels were very old.

Location across the street from the train station was excellent. A shopping center with a grocery store was also across the street. Very short walk to the entrance to the city through a city gate. Delicious breakfast was included in the price. Room was very clean and neat. The sitting area by the window gave us extra space. I think the price was competitive for a triple room booked six months in advance.

Next to a busy street, but I'm hard of hearing, so it didn't bother me as much as my travel companions. Only an issue when the windows are open.

The hostess was absolutely so very helpful and friendly. We were allowed to keep our motorcycles in the locked garage on the property. Everything about the stay there was top notch

Nothing i have visited Rothenburg before and its a beautiful town and this hotel was no distance from it so all good and i highly recommend. Particularly if you are travelling by motorcycle.

A little pricey for location and confusion about breakfast, we booked three rooms, one included breakfast and the other two didn’t. I had the option to add breakfast, but it was odd to have one room included and not the other two.

Nice employees at reception. After arriving with the train, the hotel was just few minutes away and we could leave our luggage in a side room until check in time. They also had toilets downstairs that we could use when we arrived.

The room took some time to warm up, so the first night was a bit cold.
