Very friendly welcome, very clean, good breakfast, parking on site, 5 min drive to Koblenz centre.

This place could easily be excellent with very little improvements, fixing the light switch tightly to the wall, loose door handle, there was an empty shower gel dispenser in the shower cubical, and just changing a mattress in the smaller beds which were very soft ( we had 2 rooms for 5 people), one of the bedrooms the back of the wardrobe wasn't attached properly. And maybe a good sweep with a broom. In the beer garden. Saying all that these are only a little things which could bring the rating much higher, it didn't bother us really and we would stay again. The man at reception was really friendly. I hope this will help the owner to remedy these little details.

It was a short drive to the city centre, but we did not experience public transport. The hotel staff were helpful. It was a great surprise to see the view of the river Rhein through the trees from the window of the room. The hotel rooms were clean. Breakfast was very satisfactory. I would like to stay in this hotel again and I recommend it.

It would be nice to have a kettle and tea/coffee facilities in the room.

Excellent breakfast, large and nice room. Staff were pleasant and nice. Hotel left key for us because we arrived after midnight. Good internet.

Had to park a few blocks away by a bus stop where parking was free from 7pm to 9am because hotel parking was full. Room door was hard to latch when closing.

Lovely place, we only stayed one night but the family room was big and clean. The owners went out of their way to give us an extra bed due to opposite gender teenagers not able to share with each other or willing to share with a parent. The breakfast was nice with a good choice. Within short driving distance to the main town but not really walkable (not a fault of the hotel obviously, more an observation for others).

I had a nice dinner, prepared at the very last minute by the staff when travel complications forced me to arrive at almost 9pm. I was a little surprised that the restaurant was about to close that early, but that may just be the local culture. (It is closed on Sunday and Monday nights.) The bed was very comfortable for my bad back! And the staff was warm and helpful.

The wifi didn't work until the end of my 3rd of 3 days. For some reason (no relation to the hotel) the travel pass on my French smartphone didn't work either, so all this put me in a bad situation: I was too far from Koeblenz to walk and had no way to contact the friends whose big mutual birthday party I'd come for, or even to call a cab. The owner was extremely kind in trying to fix the problem and help me out, and 2 days later succeeded in getting the wifi to work, but meanwhile I was in a hard situation.

The whole place, the staff and the locale were all ideal for a 1 or 2 night stay. On a hill so walking anywhere involves effort. Nice beer garden.

Sofa beds are pretty solid so not the most comfortable.

Parking can be full (especially if arriving late) and you may have to move to a parking which is 5 minutes away.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. My room was quiet, well-furnished, and clean. Internet worked from day 2 of my stay and had very good quality. The hotel also contains a restaurant (Croatian and German food). I didn't try the restaurant during my stay, but the food smelled great.

No Internet availability on day 1; while parking is generally available, there seemed to be parking shortage on busy nights.

I arrived really late, they had prepare a note in English explaining what time was the breakfast. The toilet is incredible. They are renovating the place, and all worked well.
