The building is a renovated castle. The pictures do not correspond to the reality for the external appearance of the building. The room was comfortable and clean. It has a medieval appearance. Everything is dark, the lighting is very weak. The bed is very good for rest. The bathroom has everything you need. Unfortunately, our hot water tap was stuck in the open position and we need to use force to turn off the water. For those who are passionate about antiques, it is probably something special. There is parking in the inner courtyard, for a maximum of 4/5 cars. Also, there are many cats. Nearby, at 100 m, there is Nikos tavern where you can eat very well, at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, there is a gas station next to the tavern, which smells strongly if you sit at the table on the terrace.

The breakfast is poor. Tea and coffee are served on the ground floor, after which you go upstairs with the cups to serve the meal.

Really good price quality ratio. The room was decorated in a unique and special way, with traditional Greek stuff. The parking is inside the yard so your car is always safe. The room where they serve breakfast is nicely decorated as well and the food is good quality, mostly consisting of Greek style products. There is hot water at any time and the room is very spacious. The reception and the yard are decorated in a pleasant way. The room is clean and welcoming. What we appreciated the most was the fact that the owner waited for us to come after the check-in time and acted nicely even though we arrived over midnight. Thank you! We will surely come back!

The location is good, right after the boarder line between Bulgaria and Greece. It is a good location for those travelling to the seaside.

Although the concept of this facility is retro, kind of mid century, I think that it needs a little bit of renovation, because the furniture is very old and I could feel the dust and mold. Also, the bathroom needs a new shower curtain, for example, and better lighting. Finally, during breakfast, there wasn't a variety of food, just hot dogs, eggs, salami and cheese. And they didn't refill after some of the things ran out.

Spacious and very clean apartment, located very close to the border between Greece and Bulgaria (Kulata-Promachonas). It offers free parking. Decent breakfast, charming atmosphere in the restaurant. The staff was very kind. Quiet village. Nearby, 100 m away, is the Nikos tavern where you can eat very well, at reasonable prices. It was the best option for us for a stopover along our trip to the west coast of Greece. The medieval atmosphere was very pleasant. We will definitely come back!

Really nice and cosy place. A lot of attention to details. Very warm and helpful owners. Rich and tasty breakfast. Beautiful nature around... What to say more... Don't miss this place, we will definitely come back again.

The bathroom in our room was very beautiful, but rather small to be fully functional. The internal noise isolation is not perfect, as well. However, these are small details that did not affect the overall impression

The apartment was spacious, with 2 bedrooms + 2 toilets/bathrooms. Really convenient for 2 couples. Looks like the pics. Located in the center of Agkistro.

The apartment was in general clean, but behind the doors you could see there was dirt and also in the bathroom there were spiders/spider's net. Only one of the 2 bathrooms is renovated. One of the 2 beds is not big enough for 2 persons to sleep comfortably without touching each other all the time. The breakfast was basic with just a few options and no local products apart from some biscuits. Not value for money.

We had a nice stay, the person that checked us in was considerate and offered us the informations we needed. The rooms were beautiful, nice decorated, vintage style and the bathroom had modern utilities even though it had elements that looked vintage. There is a taverna nearby (2 min walk) with good food, there was good internet speed and TV and free private parking. We had breakfast included that was ok. The best part was the bed because it is super comfy and also the cats that were really cute and friendly. Overall the place gives Dracula's Castle vibes.

The only minus that I saw was the cleaning part. The rooms weren't properly aired before we arrived, and there was dust in a lot of places, the frame of the bed and the bathroom radiator included. Also the shower curtain had a moldy smell (maybe because of the humid). The sheets and towels were good.

Quirky hotel with a relaxed vibe. Very interesting idea to create an up-to-date hotel based on an old theme, full of quintessential decorative elements specific for a possibly mid -19 th century.period building. Little details of good quality - like quality toiletries, real fruit juices for breakfast, excellent coffee...The Don Pablo restaurant is a little lovely gem ! Tbe hosts are nice too.

Can not find many faults. OK, maybe the fridge in the room a bit noisy and the roosters in the neighborhood in the early morning ...but there is actually a little village, so....For the reasonable price payed, one may manage all that.

We had our own house, very spacious, quiet and intimate, wirh a nice terrace in front of the house. Parking inside of the property

Breakfast was almost finished when we arrived there at 9:15, so there was not so much food left for us. Probably we were too late... Apart from this, everything was very fine with accommodation

The chateaux is a fantastic place, a vintage boutique hotel with Caracter. Very nice vintage decoration, comfortable beds, very clean and cozy rooms. Excellent staff very helpful. The breakfast is served in a magnificent restaurant Don Pablo. The buffet has local products and handmade cookies. Fantastic smoked ham and salami. We recommend this Fairytale place!
