We liked our stay very much. The staff, the location and our room with the view of Acropolis are excellent. 👍🌹

The only thing we hope for improvement is the dinning— we were pressured and reminded to give tips when we were paying for our meals. We were asked if we are satisfied with the service when we chose not to tip , then we were continually asked “so you don’t want to leave a tip”when we replied that the service is ok… This dialogue ended when we concluded “the service is ok but we are not giving a tip”. I hope the hotel to give some training to their staff—- it is not polite or graceful to pressure or coerce customers to pay tips. Tipping should be at the customer’s wish.

There are a few positives about the Hotel. The location was perfect. Right in the heart of Athens. I spent a small amount extra to have a slightly larger room and this was a good choice in my opinion. The bed was comfortable and the room had a nice clean modern living standard. The shower was also great, the water pressure was superb. We ate dinner at the rooftop bar on the first night of our stay. The food was well prepared and our waiter upbeat and welcoming, I am coeliac and the waiter was brilliant in making sure my order was gluten free. Let's not forget the nice view of the Acropolis. I don't usually favour a city break for vacations but I was there already for a work trip and my husband joined me for a short vacation. After our experience in Athens, it has opened us up to booking future city vacations. I recommend that you visit Lake Vouliagmeni and the beach, we used the train, trams and buses with ease, Google maps helped too.

I don't have a true negative comment only observations and it did not affect my stay. The hotel provides an espresso machine and no kettle for tea drinkers - I drink tea and coffee so I purchase from lots of different cafes and at the rooftop bar. On day 1 we received bottled water and it was not replenished, the water is also safe to drink for tourists. I did try some tap water and it was fine. You can buy 500ml mineral bottled water for 17 cents at the local convenience store or other places at various prices but mostly 50 cents for 500ml which is great. It was not as noisy as expected to be in a city when inside the hotel room - it did not affect my sleep.

Location is excellent. Easy access to Monastiraki and Syntagma Square. View from second bed was full view of the Cathedral. Clean room. Rooms 502, 503 and 504 have a clear view of the Cathedral and are quieter. Fridge and an Illy coffee machine with two capsules. Shower wash and conditioner pumps. Powerful rain shower. Elevator as well as stairs. Reception staff very friendly and helpful, and printed out boarding passes (thanks). Adjoining cafe.

Room 501 is disappointing compared to rooms 502, 503 and 504. Room 501 does not have a clear view of the Cathedral like the other rooms. The photos show the view from the main bed, the end of the main bed and the second bed. Noise issues: the lift can be heard, the security door can be heard and the Manager's Office can be heard... all disturb during evening, late evening and early morning. For all these reasons it's suggested that the room rate for 501 should be lower than the other listed rooms by around €15. Very small TV at the furthest point from the main bed. No kettle.

The rooftop breakfast is spectacular - not included in the room since it operates for the public, but well worth the elevator ride. Direct view of the acropolis and the rest of town, and delicious food. The rooms were simple but nice with clean lines and enough space to store two big suitcases without tripping over them. One room had a nice view on the cathedral, the other faced an ugly building, but the oh-so-refreshing AC made up for it! One big advantage over the airbnb - we were able to drop our suitcases early in the morning.

The guests were noisy in the hallways.

Location was excellent, clean, modern, pretty view of the metropolis.

The one lift to the rooms is the same lift used for the roof top bar/cafe thus used by everyone making it difficult to actually reach the room at peak times. Always on the way down we used the stairs but couldn't go up 4 flights of stairs.

Great location, walking distance to everything you need in Athens. Quaint alleyway that felt safe and slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of the middle of Athens. The air conditioning worked a wonder.

Although not a part of the hotel itself, the rooftop restaurant was somewhat expensive for what you got. Noted, this is expected considering it's within the middle of where most tourists stay in Athens, it would have been nice to receive even a slight discount considering we had stayed at the hotel that belonged to the building. We also opted for the "City view" to receive a view of the neighbouring building. Sure, it's the city, but it's not exactly a view you'd opt for!

Very cosy rooms, good bed, nice cleaning staff.

There were construction works at the moment of my stay, starting at 7:00 in the morning.

The location was amazing for visiting the landmarks we wanted to see. A rooftop restaurant/bar was super convenient for us with kids and just outside the hotel we had all the shops and restaurant. Our stay was amazing! The kids loved Athens and in big part due to our hotel!

The only small suggestion I would make is to add a few shelves or cabinets for guests to be able to stow away clothes and belongings. There are hangers but a few shelves would go a long way for families.

Absolutely Amazing Stay at Ciel Living Athens! We had the most wonderful experience at Ciel Living Athens. The entire place was spotless and beautifully maintained. The staff went above and beyond—so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. But the absolute highlight was the rooftop bar… breathtaking views, great atmosphere, and the perfect spot to unwind. Truly unforgettable. Could not fault a single thing. Highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Everyone at front desk were very helpful and professional and very friendly. The room 504 was nice. Our baggage was lost by airline and when told was going to be delivered to hotel i asked if hotel would place in room when we were not present and they did without any issues. hotel also arranged both our transportation from airport and to ferries which were really well organized and the company personnel excellent. Location was perfection.

Queen size bed comfortable but it is foam and i had to turn bed end to end after 1st night for better comfort due to previous indentations, but, was comfortable.
