We liked the location of the hotel which was very convenient: monastiraki metro station is some ten minutes away while Omonia metro station is some five minutes away from the hotel. The central location allowed us to visit all main sites on foot. The room and the bathroom were clean and comfortable. The mattresses and the pillows were clean and very comfortable. The room and the bathroom were designed in a smart way so that in the given space everything needed was available. The reception staff was well organised and friendly. The check in and check out process were fast. The breakfast was decent.

When we arrived, the guy at the reception was extremely helpful, he gave us a map and plenty of suggestions what to visit and when is the best time. Every member of the front desk team was very nice. Perfect location in the center of the city that makes it easy to get to all main attractions as well as get from and to the airport. The breakfast was varied, although we only stayed for 2 days, I certainly wouldn't have gotten bored of it even in 4-5 days. We could leave the luggage after check-out until the afternoon at no extra charge. Perfect for the price, highly recommended for a several days stay in Athens.

This is the best economy hotel I’ve ever stayed at – it deserves more than two stars. The room was spacious, very clean, and incredibly quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable, which I especially appreciated after a long day of exploring Athens. Breakfast was amazing! There was a wide variety of options so I think everyone could find something they liked. The staff were generally super friendly, but a massive thank you to all the gentlemen at reception for being so helpful! I highly recommend this hotel. If I return to Athens, I will definitely book my stay at the Economy Hotel. Thank you so much!

Very clean although the room is small and it's not sound proof and you will hear the noise on the other room especially on a quiet night, but its tolerable and understandable. The hotel is not a 5 star hotel anyway. Everyday there's a housekeeping to clean the room. Staffs are very approachable. If you need something they are willing to help & assist you. And if you will check out very early they have a courtesy breakfast that you can bring, how thoughtful the hotel😊 Another thing is very near to the meeting point if you have day tours and the hop on/hop off is just passing near the hotel.

The food were good but I would suggest to have additional hot foods like scrambled eggs, bacon & sausages. Additional mixed fruits like fruitsalad.

Tv with multiple channels Room 201 has strong wifi signal and good powerpoint plug location that ease us to charge handphone.

This is a gem of a property. Situated just a short stroll from Monastriki it is alive with restaurants, cafes, markets and shopping! Location A++. The staff are amazing. Dimitrios welcomed us warmly and continued to be of great assistance to us. Nothing was a bother to him! An exceptionally pleasant man. Other staff were also helpful and kind. Breakfast was great!!!! The lady in control was always topping up the supplies. Food was very fresh, varied and tasty. The whole building was impeccably clean! Linen was very fresh and white. We loved everything about the hotel. Thank you and we would 100% recommend this amazing place!!

Great location, within walking distances to metro stations and tourist spots. No frill hotel has all the basic amenities in the room. Nothing fancy, so if you are on a budget, this place is perfect. I love the bed. It was comfy. The heating/cooling system was great, too. Staff were friendly and helpful. They had good inclusive breakfast too for the price we pay. We had to deposit our key at the counter everytime we leave the place, some may not like it but I think it's good, didnt have to worry id lose the key when I'm out.

It was unfortunate there was a power outage on the first night of our stay, it was only fixed the next morning, so slightly inconvenient having to live in the dark for the whole night. Otherwise, I think it's worth the price I have paid.

This is a good inexpensive hotel based in the centre of Athens, The staff are very helpful and friendly. Security is excellent. It is a no frills hotel. Very suitable if staying only a day to two as most places of interest are within walking distance and there is no need to use public transport or taxis.

the breakfast is basic cereal S rolls toast cake fruit and boiled eggs cheese and ham. Nothing exotic but certainly filling. Excellent variety of coffees It’s a shame there is no roof bar in operation.

All the staff were impeccable, I was really impressed. From the front desk to the cleaners to those working the breakfast room, everyone was not just cordial but proactive and attentive. I stayed in a big range of hotels this year across 11 countries, and the staff of this hotel was the best group out of all.

The fan in the bathroom was exceptionally loud, so I only turned on the hallway light to minimize the noise at night. I was in a room facing the courtyard and it was pretty dark even during the day. I considered asking to change rooms but It's winter and I didn't think it would get much brighter in a different room. The lack of natural light would've been easier to deal with in the summer.

Absolutely helpful staff from the moment of making the reservation, if I had any questions everything was answered promptly and in a friendly manner. The room itself is a bit dated but it was clean and comfortable for our stay. The location was excellent for us, only about 8-10 minutes on foot from Monastiraki square, which is a great spot for both reaching the airport (as the metro stops there) and an entrance to the city center.

Sometimes we could smell cigarette smoke in the room which I imagine reached us either from the street or the vent, as we are non-smokers it bothered us a bit, but not too bad.
