We liked the location of the hotel which was very convenient: monastiraki metro station is some ten minutes away while Omonia metro station is some five minutes away from the hotel. The central location allowed us to visit all main sites on foot. The room and the bathroom were clean and comfortable. The mattresses and the pillows were clean and very comfortable. The room and the bathroom were designed in a smart way so that in the given space everything needed was available. The reception staff was well organised and friendly. The check in and check out process were fast. The breakfast was decent.

This hotel is very nice. The reception people are always smiling and helping and friendly. The room was very clean and they cleaned the room every day without we asking. They prepared for us fast breakfast because we leaved the hotel at 3 am. The hotel is very near to everywhere. We just walk little bit to arrive to the centre and to restaurants and the museums. If someone want enjoy Athens and don’t west a lot of money this hotel is the best choice.

The breakfast quality could be better. Somedays we could not sleep in the night because of the noise in the room and in the street. The pillow was not comfortable for sleep.

When we arrived, the guy at the reception was extremely helpful, he gave us a map and plenty of suggestions what to visit and when is the best time. Every member of the front desk team was very nice. Perfect location in the center of the city that makes it easy to get to all main attractions as well as get from and to the airport. The breakfast was varied, although we only stayed for 2 days, I certainly wouldn't have gotten bored of it even in 4-5 days. We could leave the luggage after check-out until the afternoon at no extra charge. Perfect for the price, highly recommended for a several days stay in Athens.

This was an excellent choice of hotel for a stay in Athens. It is around a 10 minute walk from the metro station in a very central location. We were able to walk to everything that we wanted to visit in the city. The hotel is in a safe area just one block from a main road. The room was modern and very clean with air conditioning and appeared to have been recently renovated. The photos on the website don't do justice to the room we stayed in. The hotel staff were very friendly and the reception is open 24 hours a day. A wide variety of choices were available for the breakfast. I would certainly go back and stay in this hotel again. It is excellent value for money.

There was really nothing that the hotel could improve.

Location was very close to everything, 8 minutes walking to Monastiraki square, Psirri, and some other neighborhood with nice nightlife and good food. Even though I saw some reviews about how unsafe this part of the city is, it was very safe, we were two girls in our 30s coming back at 1 am at the hotel and it was fine. You just need to be cautious like everywhere else. The room was clean, and they would clean it everyday with fresh towels and fresh bedding.The staff superb. Very nice and heplful.

The fruniture is a little bit not up to date, clean but old. Could do a makeover. The breakfast everyday is the same.

This is the best economy hotel I’ve ever stayed at – it deserves more than two stars. The room was spacious, very clean, and incredibly quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable, which I especially appreciated after a long day of exploring Athens. Breakfast was amazing! There was a wide variety of options so I think everyone could find something they liked. The staff were generally super friendly, but a massive thank you to all the gentlemen at reception for being so helpful! I highly recommend this hotel. If I return to Athens, I will definitely book my stay at the Economy Hotel. Thank you so much!

The receptionists were polite and hospitable. The hotel was near the city center. It’s just amazing how the starters are clean now compared to when I visited 3 years ago in Athens. I’ve only see few homeless people and addicts. It made us feel safe walking even in the middle of the night. The hotel is just basic but it give the comfort you need for a good 2-3 days of stay. The breakfast is varied . Thank you

The fridge elevator is a very good experience ♥️ like no other

Very clean although the room is small and it's not sound proof and you will hear the noise on the other room especially on a quiet night, but its tolerable and understandable. The hotel is not a 5 star hotel anyway. Everyday there's a housekeeping to clean the room. Staffs are very approachable. If you need something they are willing to help & assist you. And if you will check out very early they have a courtesy breakfast that you can bring, how thoughtful the hotel😊 Another thing is very near to the meeting point if you have day tours and the hop on/hop off is just passing near the hotel.

The food were good but I would suggest to have additional hot foods like scrambled eggs, bacon & sausages. Additional mixed fruits like fruitsalad.

It's a really good basic hotel. I was on the 8th floor and had a little balcony with a little bit of a view of Athens. Was equipped with the basics, although wish it had a kettle in the room. Had a fridge and TV. Bathroom was pretty basic but functional. It did have a little bit of an odour coming from the drain but not too bad. Staff were very helpful and apologetic when the power went out the morning I was checking out (wasn't their fault, due to roadworks, and we were warned the day before). The included breakfast was pretty good for Europe. They had some hot food like eggs and sausages along with the usual cold meat, cheese, bread, yoghurt etc.

The wifi was a bit spotty, there was the previously mentioned drain smell, and the location is a little grotty looking, but I didn't feel unsafe as a solo woman.

We booked a few months in advance and this is one of the cheapest options in Athens that is a actually good. I would recommend for people doing a brief stay in athens. Staff were friendly and it is 24/7 reception. They are happy to hold your luggage if you arrive early or leave late. Breakfast is open for a good amount of time, with a variety of options. It is not the most amazing gourmet breakfast but it is appropriate. Location wise, the touristy part of Athens is quite small, at the base of the acropolis. This is within a few minutes walk of some nice streets and you are soon within the main touristy area. This is within walking distance of monastiraki station where the metro will take you to and from the airport within 40 minutes

It is a little dated but oh well. Funnily enough, the hotel is only four minutes away from omonia which is one of the worst parts of the centre of Athens. Avoid this as there are many drug addicts there who will inject openly. Just walk in the direction of the Acropolis and not any further ;)
