Breakfast - we received a coupon for breakfast at a pastry shop located about 300 from the hotel. You could choose from about 7 options for breakfast - the ones I ate were excellent - I recommend a scrambled egg inside a croissant - the croissant is baked on the spot and perfect. The food is accompanied by coffee or a glass of squeezed orange juice. I would like to mention the location of the patisserie - a beautiful alley where a climbing plant creates a kind of roof, and the atmosphere and service are great.

• The bathrooms, while clean and orderly, showed some signs of wear – they felt a bit dated compared to the rest of the room. • The in-room kitchenette is relatively small, and the coffee machine was basic – it functioned adequately but lacked convenience or quality. • The property does not have a kitchen, and therefore no breakfast is offered – which was somewhat inconvenient

The staff in this hotel is incredibly kind and treats you like family. They will go above and beyond to meet your needs and don't expect anything in return. Frosho, Constantina and I think the other girl's name is Magdalena go above and beyond and work as a team with their supervisor to satisfy their guests. When I come back to Athens, I will stay here again =)

The no refund policy is a bit annoying as well as the fact that they require you pay the entire cost of the room when checking in. These policies are pretty unique in the hotel industry.

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice decorated hotel facilites, cleanliness on high level, roof top with amazing view over the city. We got free upgrade to Junior room which was very nice touch. Great breakfast served 3 min walking from hotel.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! We were a group of 10 and truly enjoyed it — the rooms were clean and spacious, the staff incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Communication was easy, and the location couldn’t be more central! We highly recommend staying here. The lobby area was great for hanging out, and the rooftop was lovely. We even received fresh towels and extra ones for our beach trips. The price was very fair, too. Overall, we were really satisfied and would definitely come back!

One thing to keep in mind: because it’s so central, it can get a bit loud at night, and the walls are quite thin.

When I arrived I thought it was in a seedy area because of graffiti and rundown buildings around but it’s true Athens a mix of the modern and Play is a renovated property modern and cool! Lovely reception staff make the stay. I came for 3 nights and ended up 6. Room, shower, bed, AC, view to Acropolis from rooftop all excellent. A well know Greek tapas place on ground floor along with good quality Dosa Indian. The Acropolis ‘uptown’ all within 15 minute walk. Found excellent coffee and lovely spot at Myller Coffee Shop 5 minute walk.

The staff is a 100/10. They are extremely helpful, nice, accommodating, responsive and communicative. The space is nice and modern, close to many things, my room was very comfortable. The breakfast option they offer with the restaurant nearby is excellent.

It is advertised as soundproof and it is absolutely not one bit soundproof. I did not want to remove stars b/c the staff were trying so much to appease my complaints about it. Please remove that false advertising, nor the windows, nor the doors, nor the walls or ceiling are soundproof. This was extremely important to me as I was there for the Marathon, sleep did not go well at all. It does help that the street is a bit distant from where most noise happens, but still, you hear everything and everyone. If not advertised as such, no problem, you would still get booked and avoid issues

This is a great property. 1. it’s location is 150 Meters from bustling nightlife and wonderful restaurants. 5 minutes of walking gets you to Ermou St. and Monastiraki Sq. 2. The facilities are wonderful. The room was well furnished and had a coffee machine, cups and water. The hotel looks well maintained and clean. 3. Amazing staff! From the moment we walked through the door they were all smiles and nothing but helpful and courteous. Really felt genuine and thoughtful. 4. Breakfast was a 2 minute walk at a fabulous cafe with a menu of about 10 items to choose from. Generous portions, fresh and friendly.

The entrance is a little unflattering and smells slightly of the restaurant right next door. the elevator sometimes also smells strongly of spices and a fry. The smell was not noticeable in the room at all.

View from our room of the Acropolis was gorgeous! Walking distance to shops and restauranrs. Felt safe. Staff was wonderful and helpful!

The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. The room is pretty small, but if you're out most of the day and only come back to sleep, it's adequate. A chair would be nice though since you can only sit on the bed. Nice breakfast at a nearby cafe. As for location, it's both excellent but could be problematic for some - on one hand it's 5 minutes walk from Monastriaki Square and from the great nightlife of Psiri, many taverns, cafes, pubs and music and still far enough so it's relatively quiet. On the other hand, the streets right around the hotel can look not sympathic or scary for some, although they're actually not.

What I wrote about location, which can be uncomfortable for some, maybe for solo female travelers. There's a rooftop opposite to the hotel which has loud music on weekends until late. Depending on the room location it can be somewhat disturbing. Closing the windows blocked most of the noise though.
