Central but still very quiet - an oasis of calm in a busy city. Hotel very clean with fridge in room and kettle available on request. Easy walking from here to all of Athens and public transport. The staff are so friendly and helpful and will help in any way they can. Special mention to Andy who gave us so much local knowledge and was just lovely and always so interested in his guests. Highly recommend this hotel.

The only thing we would comment on is the lighting in the room wasnt great for reading but not really a problem. As its an old building you can sometimes hear people on the stairs if they arent being considerate of other guests and talking or shouting but the rooms are very soundproof and hear nothing from neighbouring rooms. First impressions of the street can be a bit off putting but all streets in Athens look a bit run down. It certainly felt safe and we were two females. Just minor comments to give a full review but stay here again any day!

*Excellent choice if you want a room to sleep in and don't care about other hotel services like spa, breakfast, etc... *Great location *Most of the staff are nice *Large rooms *renewed interior *Great price (relative to other options that are close to the center). *if you rent a car you can easily find park in the street between 9pm-9am for free. Nearby underground parking charges 10€ overnight and more for staying hours during the day. It also opens after 6am or 9am which is risky if you want to catch a plane.

*Many mosquitoes in the rooms. *bed matrices could be a little more comfy (although not bad) *very small wardrobe, barely enough for 2 when the room takes up to 4. *I paid 70€/night which is the highest I have ever came across for 2 star hotel anywhere, yet for some reason all hotels in Athens were very expensive so it was "fair" somewhat. *toilet could've been designed to be a bit bigger or have bigger sinks

Size of room, location to Acropolis. Elevator. Walk to center. Very clean. Quiet at night. Near the local fish and meat market and near food. Friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. 24 hour staff on hand.

As stated- 2 star hotel which very basic amenities. Room 101- no coffee , no microwave- It did have a refrigerator. Bathroom doesn't have a vent. All minor. At first glance the area seems sketchy due to all the local graffiti. As per local taxi driver - it is "Art" and a hobby to many to write on walls. We were in the wholesale/distributor area of goods. So not touristy looking so gave the impression of scary. As with anything- be aware of your surroundings. Don't walk alone at night. Overall good value place and close to everything.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the Monastiraki metro station, and within easy walking distance of the Acropolis, the Agora, the flea market, and shops. There are plenty of places to eat and convenience stores. The hotel is very nice, with all the amenities, and the staff is available 24 hours a day and very friendly. The room was spacious, comfortable, and modern, cleaned daily, and had enough toiletries. The mini-refrigerator was very useful.

Actually everything was very good, maybe a water heater would be a plus to make some tea or coffee on the cold night

Staff were kind. Quick and easy check-in and check-out (I personally prefer it!). The cleanliness of the room and common areas of the building was excellent, it surprised me. The room was very spacious. It was a good experience 😄

I didn't fancy the location afterall. That's nothing related to the hotel building or staff interactions! It was really the city's neighbourhood that gave me this rough impression. Nothing happened to me on the streets nearby, but I didn't feel carefree. However, I felt the same in other parts of the city too.

Very nice budget hotel- well located, close walking distance to the historic center- when leaving hotel, turn left out of the door, and then right onto the main road (Athinas), and you can walk to Monastiraki Square in less than 10 minutes on a wide, well-lit and safe street with lots of stores and cafes, etc. Very friendly and welcoming front desk staff.

There were mosquitos in the room, but the desk person gave me a little device to plug in to repel them, and I got rid of most of them anyway and didn't get bitten.

The hotel was great. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was a great size for a twin with a great shower and perfect facilities. It was kept spotlessly clean too. While the street it's on is not much to look at, it's a short walk from everything we wanted to visit - we never needed a taxi to anything! I was surpised this was only rated 2 stars as I would say this is at least a 3 star hotel. It was the perfect base for us to explore Athens from and I highly recommend it - especially at this price.

My companion would have liked the air conditioning to be able to be set a little lower than 18 degrees though I was more than happy with this!

-Location, 5 min walking from Omonia and 10 min from Monastiraki (M3 stop). 25 min from the Acrópolis. So it's near touristic areas but not so crowded. -Close to good bars and restaurants, cheaper than the ones near Acropolis -Kind and helpful staff, above all Andy, who is very friendly -Rooms are quite big and comfortable, clean and filled with everything you may need: extra blankets, extra pillows, a small table, fridge and TV. -Vending machines at the reception

-the soundproof is not the best, but I travel a lot and I found the same problem in more expensive hotels as well

Clean! Clean! Clean! This is what is most important for me when traveling and I couldn’t fault the place. Very friendly staff. Unique building. Spacious room. Close to metro stop (10 min rolling bags).

I had doubts as I approached the building from the side street, but it was a lovely property. Bed not so comfortable (basic and firm) but I was so tired from traveling I didn’t care.

Great Location, everything is close and in walking distance. Proximity to the metro and Monastiraki Square is perfect. Psiri is a very cool and fun neighbourhood, many great traditional restaurants and lively bars. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable facilities. Would recommend to friends and family.
