the breakfast was amazing. there were many choices and it was delicious. the location of the hotel is super central. you can reach everything by feet. the rooms were clean and designed very comfortable.

if you want to use the spa area you habe to book an appointment and if your time is up you have to leave. it would be more relaxing if you could stay as long as you want because some people like to relax longer some like to go in a second time.

Lovely comfortable room. Nice and quiet despite being on a busy street, and had blackout blinds. The bath and shower were great. Easy to walk into town or take a metro. Surrounded by good coffee places and restaurants. Excellent gym with a view of the parthenon on your workout! Plenty of toiletries in bathroom.

We were disappointed there was no swimming pool as we deliberately booked for this. Other hotels put their seasonal pool timetable on booking.com but this one did not. A little more transparency would be good. Having said that, I'm glad we chose this hotel anyway as it was so comfortable. No tea and coffee in the room - requires an upgrade (but I liked trying the coffee shops nearby, so no biggie).

The location is good, about a 20 min walk to the main events in Athens, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The hoteliers were lovely and very helpful. The rooftop pool is great, with a lovely view of Athens.

I found the beds a little soft, however this is a personal preference.

Excellent location with a pool view of the Acropolis and a short walk to the historic center. The breakfast offers a variety of options, even for vegans, including fresh bread, dolmas, vegetables, fruits, cereals, and soy milk. The room was always nicely tidied, and the cleaning lady was friendly.

There are only three umbrellas available at the poolside, leaving many lounge chairs exposed to direct sunlight. Some guests left their towels and belongings on the chairs from morning until evening, even when they were using them, to reserve their spots. Therefore, if you prefer shade, you will need to sit at the tables in the sky lounge bar. It was quite crowded there as well, and the waiters had a lot to manage, occasionally forgetting to take orders.

The Location was great. Very close to main areas. But not right in the middle of the action and the crowds so still quiet. Parking was great. There are free parking options in front of the hotel and a big parking lot (30 euros a day I think) right across from the hotel. Rooms were a bit dated; but they were very clean and had all the amenities that you need. The staff at the reception were friendly; and very helpful (just great in general.) The breakfast was good; with limited options but tasty. The rooftop bar & pool has a nice view of the city.

The rooftop bar is a bit dated and small; also doesn't have enough options for food or drinks. The room breakfast is served in; is small with limited tables and the hotel was full so it was hard to find a table to sit in, and when you did; you had to rush so people waiting for tables standing around could sit. Our room didn't have thick/dark curtains so there was nothing blocking the sun; so we were up at dawn. However the other room we booked that was right next to us had blackout curtains so I do not know what was going on with that. No "Level" option which I love when it comes to Melia hotels.

The room is spacious and clean. It was not a problem adding an extra bed for our daughter in the same room. Bathroom is big. The pool on the rooftop is great for Athens as you have a view to the Acropolis. The rooftop turns into a restaurant with a view in the evening and you can enjoy the sunset which was great. The location is not exactly in the center of the city, but you can walk to underground station in a few minutes or to Acropolis without a problem.

Most rooms are facing the main street, so you can hear street noise during the night. We asked to another room facing the inner court and it was not a problem.

Staff super friendly and cheerful . Roof top pool great . Hotel out of the main touristy area previous reviews spoke of it being sketchy so deliberated for a long time whether to stay there but we wanted a pool for the kids. We felt perfectly safe walking back from metro and eating out in the evening when we arrived late but we live in London and used to the city vibe. Nice to experience another part of Athens.

Breakfast very over priced . Disappointed with Cafe Mondo on ground floor thought would use it for convenience but limited pricey menu. Plenty of cheap and cheerful cafes close by where you can eat alongside the locals.
