We stayed in penthouse number 2 Everything was perfect. The apartment is on the third floor (there is an elevator) and it's pleasant, bright, very clean and equipped with everything you need and beyond. There is an exit to a spacious sun terrace from both the living room and the bedroom. We were a family of 4 so we slept also the living room sofa that opens into a double bed and surprisingly it was comfortable. The location is perfect. In the picturesque Plaka neighborhood but on a quiet street and accessible to every area on foot. Plenty of restaurants and shops around and everything is very colorful and happy. The check-in and check-out process is independent - fast, easy and comfortable. The owner of the property is very kind and available for any questions and concerns on WhatsApp. We felt at home and are sure to return there again.

The Marble suites are placed in a fabulous place called PLAKA, everything is within easy reach. The suites are fairly modern with all the basic facilities one would need. The air conditioning was a very welcome as the temps were high outside and allowed us to Cool after spending time on the lovely balcony. The hosts are absolutely amazing and looked after all our needs remotely.

The suites are obviously well used and some areas in need of repair, the kitchen sink tap handle fell off in our hand, the cabinet knobs also fell off every time you opened the cupboard. Although a washing machine symbol was displayed on booking.com we later discovered that there was no washing machine, however a laundry facility at €15 a bag. The shower was an issue for us as the shower was in front of a very large window and everything above your groin was exposed to all neighbours as my wife discovered when she spotted a neighbour photographing her whilst in the shower. That needs to be rectified.

The hotel is located in a very central spot yet away from the crowd. You shouldn’t expect a reception, there’s a code to enter the building, no keys. I found this a little unusal:) but we didn’t have any problems. It’s a concept between air bnb and hotel. The room was super clean and comfy. The treatments of the owners was lovely :) There is a coffee machine, refrigerator, simple kitchen supply and even a microwave. Perfect for the families with little children. The location was 5-10 minutes to all touristic places like Syntagma,Acropolis, Psirri, Ermou St.

The only problem is church bells in 7.30 am wakes you up early because it’s opposite of the hotel. More than that, there was a construction next to the building and the workers start working at 7.30 too like only for one hour! We thought they would be asked start a litttle bit late. It wasn’t a big problem for me but it would be for people prefers to wake up late.

Beautiful and very clean apartment in the beautiful and cozy area of Plaka. The greek yoghurt, and the host Vassilis’ mom’s cherry jam to put on it, was delicious! The roof terrace was wonderful to hang out on in the evening, with a view of Acropolis. The hosts Vassilis and Andreas are great too, very kind and helpful. We loved every second of our stay!

The only minus (but overall it’s still 10 points out of ten) is that it’s a lot of noise from outside of the apartment - so we recommend ear plugs during the night :)

Excellent location, right in the heart of the old city. Very walkable. The apartment was a good size. We opted for the penthouse to enjoy a private terrace, but the public terrace at the top of the building is lovely, with a view of the Parthenon. The hosts were very responsive via email and their instructions on how to use and care for the apartment were comprehensive. We also appreciated all the appliances - coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, microwave, etc.

Everything was fine.

Perfect location amongst the old town of Plaka but quiet. The apartment had absolutely everything and Vassilis and Andreas left us home made Greek yoghurt in the fridge and a beautiful pot of Toula’s (Vassilis’ mother) home made cherry sauce to go on the yoghurt. The communication of Vassilis and Andreas was exceptional and fast. I asked them everything from booking transfers, to where to buy decent jewellery and where to find a bar showing the English Premier League. Nothing was a problem for them. The best experience we have had with both hosts and accommodation. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Everything! Cute decorated and equipped apartment, great hosts, the best location. Very easy and precise instructions entering the building and apartment. The hosts were available on WhatsApp whenever we needed and gave us a complimentary cleaning.

The only small thing was the bathroom. It was great like the rest of the apartment but the ventilation wasn’t that good so it stayed wet long after we finished taking a shower. The extra complimentary cleaning helped with that.

Marble Suites Plaka was the perfect place for our family of four! The kids slept in the living room sofa bed and my husband and I used the main room. So much natural lighting and lovely wooden shutters to block it out and for privacy when needed. The kitchen had all the crockery and utensils we would ever need plus a big fridge and gadgets such as coffee filter, nespresso machine, toaster and kettle, and the dining table made mealtimes cleaner and less messy. Smart TV and a well appointed bathroom completed it all. The place is actually bigger than it looks in photos. The hosts were available on WhatsApp to answer all our questions and were incredibly polite and professional. The best part of the suite was the location! In a very safe bylane but close to literally everything. We were able to walk to all the sites. Don't think twice just book this place already!

I would give Marble Suites a 20 if I could. The communication and instructions were completely clear and timely. They also have someone available for questions from 10:00am to 10:00pm. I called this number and the pick up was immediate. The fridge was stocked with yougart and homemade preserves. One of the best things about the Marble Suites is the location. It is steps away from Plaka activity but on a very quiet pedestrian way- extremely convenient to sites and restaurants, but a little oasis in central Athens. We also took advantage of the roof deck with views of the Acropolis - no need to go to a spendy roof top bar. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend this spot very highly for your Athens stay.

Our host was great with communication and setting our larger taxi (for a family of 5) up to and from the airport. The yogurt and cherry topping that was left for all 5 of us was the best yogurt I’ve had. The location is the absolute best. You can walk to everything. We walked to 2 other neighbors and Plaka and this location was by far the best. Now if you only speak English and have children (or yourself) that want to chill and watch a show (it’s hot mid day in the summer) there are not many options unless you log in to your own streaming. The shampoo, conditioner, and body milk that they have in the shower is great….we meant to ask to purchase and forgot. I felt safe walking Plaka with no concerns. There are many shops and restaurants to enjoy.
