the apartment was faultless and in great location

Trouble with apartment was the noise at night from restaurant below and also pedestrian traffic which occurred all night. We were on first floor immediately above restaurant' Also arranged to meet host between 4 and 5 pm to collect keys. we arrived at 5.18 bevause of traffic and he was gone. We did not have mobile data so message he sent at 5pm not received. luckily the man in shop next door was able to ring and get code. Not good start to holiday

Great location in the heart of Plaka/Athens. As you look up you'll see the Acropolis. It's not super close to the metro station but part of staying in Plaka is you shouldn't need to take the metro to go to the most impressive sights. Kitchen is convenient should you need to whip up something quick. There's no microwave though so you'll have to use the oven or stove top to heat up food Host is very communicative and was available for any questions we had. There's only one bedroom but the living room is essentially another one, and you can comfortably sleep 4 people.

Depending on which room you have, the view of the Acropolis may be more or less impressive. However if you just step outside you can see it

You can't beat the location. And the price was good. Wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was clean and well decorated. I would recommend to others.

Room for improvement: Checking in after hours was difficult with no one on site. An email earlier with the code would have been best instead of showing up and waiting for entrance. We rented 4 rooms, and the AC in one of rooms needs to be fixed. And the instructions to turn on the hot water and wait for 20 minutes, never worked...never found the "grey button on the electrical panel", so better instructions would have been nice.

Location was simply perfect, you can walk everywhere and the neighbourhood is clean, and nice to go for a walk. The apartment is spacious, and the room and bed very comfortable. The bathroom is well designed as well. The bed was super comfy and we had a good rest. Very nic in general!

The windows couldn’t be completely open and when closed, you can hear a bit the noise of the street although I must say is really minimum and you can sleep perfectly well. The kitchen is very little, for us was fine as didn’t need to cook, just have into consideration. The inside of some of the wardrobes were broken (nothing very important, but you expect to find it in perfect condition. Something to be improved would be to have a luggage room, we ask if possible to keep the bags and there was no option (downstairs there is a cleaning room (this could be an option).

Excellent location. Spectacular rooftop patio with amazing views of the Acropolis. Abundant natural light in the sitting/dining areas. Very comfortable bed.

The restaurant next door has an exhaust fan on the roof of the building which was not working correctly and was very noisy. It was on all day until midnight. Since it was very near the bedroom, it was impossible to sleep until the fan was off. We have stayed in the apartment on several other occasions, and this was not an issue. The apartment manager asked the restaurant to turn off the fan by 11:00, but, although they agreed to do this, they did not follow through. The fan is supposed to be repaired, but, until it is, you may need to plan to go to bed at midnight! (Except on Mondays when the restaurant is closed!)

The apartment is very big and generous in all ways. Two bathrooms (1 with a shower). The beds are comfortable and the whole place was very clean. Dark curtains in all window to block out light. Coffee and tea maker and all one could ask for. Spacious wardrobes too, a huge fridge, and a safe. The apartment felt very safe.

The only thing would be the noisy street, nothing that some earplugs couldn’t fix. As wanted to be in the middle of all the action, so we assumed it was going to be noisy on a Saturday night. For the rest, all top.

The location is excellent in the centre of Athens, with most of the prime tourist attractions including the Acropolis, within easy walking distance. The apartment itself is a little dated, but was still ideal for our short 1 night stay. It has everything you'd need for a short stay as a couple or small family.

Our only minor criticism would be that some of the decor in the apartment was starting to age a little, but this is really thinking hard to find a negative.

The location was perfect. Right in the heart of Plaka close to great shops and restaurants. All of the main attractions are within easy walking distance.The apartment was spacious and clean with a fully equipped kitchen. There was an elevator which was helpful with luggage. Parking is very close by if you have a car.

There was rarely anyone in the reception area but it was easy to communicate with the staff via text and all of our needs were met. There was a little noise from the street at night but it's to be expected on such a popular area. Nothing interfered with our sleep.

The flat was spacious, clean and a gorgeous view of The Acropolis. It was very quiet as the location was a bit off the main touristy area and the windows were high quality. The bed and large sofa were extremely comfortable. The people who were at the front desk were very helpful and responsive.

The hosts communicated with us via WhatsApp, which we did not expect. Although the listing said the desk would be staffed at check-in, it was not, and we had to call to find out they'd sent us an unexpected WhatsApp with instructions on using the keypad to enter. An email would have more convenient, or at least notice that we should check WhatsApp for check-in instructions.
