A bit of renovation to the rooms

Overall value for money was excellent. We take breakfast only. Ordered the car rent trough the hotel for reasonable price and also were able to leave the car at another hotel (we split the vacation). The prices in the pool bar are ok. We were in bars nearby, the cocktails were even more expensive there. The room was clean and big, a lot of space. The breakfast was basic but very good, including fruits and vegetables.

I didn't like to pay for beach towels. 3 euro per towel for two days. The second thing was the absolute abcense of tea, coffee and sugar in the room. There is kitchenette, but no ability to make tea. The staff said that we can take tea bags from the restaurant. But why?

Really good location. A stones throw from the very nice beach and plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel facilities were as expected. Breakfast got busy (as you would expect given the time of year) but the staff did manage to keep on top of keeping the buffet options populated. If anything did run out they we quick to replace it when asked. We only used the front pool and found that to be large enough to accommodate the guests. It did get a little busy at times but there was still space to have a small swim or play games with family. The apartment we were initially given was not what we expected but after speaking to reception they happily gave us a different apartment after one night, when it became available. The new apartment was very good and plenty big enough for a family of 4, including two teenagers.

The apartment we were originally provided with was split on two floors with the double bed upstairs. The stairs to the upstairs room were very steep and the room was incredibly hot, even with the air-conditioning on. The room downstairs felt very narrow and a bit cramped. These types of rooms are not mentioned or pictured on booking.com nor the hotels website. However, as mentioned, the hotel were happy to move us to a different apartment on a single floor as soon as one became available.

All I can say about this hotel is that it exceeded my expectations. Rooms are very comfy and exceptionally clean. The main areas are also very well kept. Pools are quite large and clean! As for the breakfast, not much to say except that it is top with a large variety of food to satisfy everyone's tastes and cravings. From a basic buffet breakfast to specialities such as doughnuts, pancakes and more! And last but not least, I cannot finish this review without praising and thanking the whole team who runs this hotel and made our stay a real pleasure and a memorable one!! I do not remember all the names however I want to thank the reception staff: Sofia, Eva & Petrus for your help and warm welcome, Stella and her staff at the restaurant, the persons who clean the hotel in general and cleaned our room, bar attendants and last but not least Jimmy the barman who is a giant in his role, so very friendly and a great barman!! He is truly one of a kind!! Thumbs up to all of you great people at this hotel! Words cannot thank you enough for making our stay one to remember forever!

The only two minor things I can complain about are the water tap and the sink in our bathroom which I am sure that it can be sorted. The water tap was slightly corroded and the sink's tap does not close. Nothing else to complain about!

The pools were very clean and perfect for kids with different depths for all ages. The pool bars played great music and the drinks were delicious. The buffet breakfast was also good. The location is wonderful with many walkable restaurants and super markets and just a short bus ride to Chania.

There is a fee for pool towels which is not refunded when you turn them in. There is also a fee for beach chairs. We were disappointed these weren’t included with our stay.

Great breakfast with good variety to suit various nationalities. Nice large room with balcony and air con, lovely swimming pools. We were not disturbed at all by noise from the other guests. The staff were very friendly and polite and efficient. Excellent location just across the road from the sea, near plenty of restaurants. 20 min drive to Chania old town and a little more to the airport.

The cocktails at the bar and the coffee at breakfast were a bit disappointing. There didn't seem to be enough deck chairs at the main pool - or the guests kept them constantly 'reserved' with their towels. That was a shame, but probably reflects more on the selfishness of guests than the hotel itself. The bathroom was a little tired but perfectly adequate. I couldn't adjust the aircon to a good temperature (but maybe that was just me) so at night I was too hot without it, but a little chilly with it on. However, in all we were extremely happy and these are tiny little grumbles

The Creta Palm Resort is worth it their price ,food was very good ,friendly Staff especialy Jimmy great barman with positive Vibe ,rooms were clean ,sea is just opposite the hotel for sure I will come back to this hotel again )

Excellent services, very helpful staff, good size room with kitchenette and balcony, family oriented hotel with good size children's pool, very good pool bar operated by Athena who was super helpful and smiley!! Food served was very good and the hotel is only one minute walk to a beautiful beach!!!! Great value for money!!

Lovely breakfast

Photos were more beautiful then in real. I would say is 3* hotel and the price could be smaller.

Staff were outstanding. Friendly, helpful and hardworking. The cleaning staff were amazing. Hotel and accommodation were spotlessly clean. Breakfast buffet was very good.

Would have loved softer beds, and a kettle with tea making facilities (not just coffee) in rooms. Rooms were smaller than appeared in the photograph, but were OK. Dinner buffet could have been better. One child couldn't find anything to eat there which meant eating out more often than not, depsite paying half board. Maybe some kid friendly food could have been an option e.g. pizza, chicken nuggets etc but were not offered.
