“Great Stay at Hermes Beach Front” We stopped here while passing through the area and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were exceptionally attentive, super friendly, and always willing to help, which made us feel very welcome. The hotel is located right on the large beach but slightly off to the side, which means it feels quieter and more relaxed than the busy central stretch. The small section of beach in front of the hotel was almost empty, perfect for escaping the crowds. The rooms were clean and equipped with everything we needed. For noise-sensitive guests, traffic from the nearby street can be heard at times, but overall it was a comfortable and fairly priced stay – with the highlight being the wonderful hospitality and peaceful seaside setting.

Hermes was exactly what we had hoped for — as three couples with kids, we truly felt at home. We had a wonderful time. The room we stayed in was spotless, and beach towels were provided, which was a nice touch. There were complimentary drinks and snacks, as well as a well-equipped kitchen. Parking was available right in front of the property. Although breakfast wasn’t included, there were plenty of cafés and bakeries nearby, so it wasn’t an issue at all.

Nothing, wish they had sunbeds at the beach, but not an issue since its just a minute of walking from the sea to the hotel’s garden.

Perfect place for families with children. We loved the sea front view, nice garden, 2 steps away from sea. The room was big and comfortable with a large bed, equipped kitchenette...exactly way was needed for a lovely holiday at the seaside. We didn't mind the breakfast arrangement, meaning we had to go up 40-50 steps up the hill. The view was great and we could enjoy our coffee, while our toddlers were making noise in/around the pool 🙈 Getting back to the room and seaside : just around the corner there is a fruit/vegetables shop with delicios & fresh items. Coffe and lunch are also available at the nearby food truck. Perfect location for a great holiday!❤️

The welcome by the team before and at arrival. The services while we stayed. The location and the facilities within the room. It was lovely clean and bright with a wonderful view of the ocean. Close to bus stop to take you into Chania.

We could only use chairs on grass of property and so we continually had people in front of our bedroom during the day. And limited space meant it was crowded.

Location by the beach is simply perfect. Many small shops and restaurants around make it really easy to stay, parking on the street is free and almost always available. The rooms are very clean and comfy, all in all, exellent value for the money.

Traffic is really noisy during almost all night. Two appartments with street view really suffer.

Short distance into Chania... Our unit was right on the beach. Open the slider and hear the waves crashing. The breakfast every morning was excellent (especially the person that ran it named Alistea!). Helen the manager was friendly and helpful as well. Our room/bungalow wasn't big however it was nice, clean, and recently remodeled.

Our unit was the farthest from the main sea view building up the hill so the wifi was a little spotty.

I'm travelling a lot, but I never felt so welcome like here. All personnel were so kind and helpful, they helped us with everything. Any request that we had has been solved with a smile. The area is perfect. Everything is there. The apartment has everything you need. Beach towels, sunbed, and fridge with freezer. Me and my friend enjoyed every single minute, and we will definitely come back. Thank you all!!! 😊

Probably the best location in Stalos. It was right on the beach and the property itself had a very beautiful garden. We enjoyed the interactions with everyone from Hermes Beach Team, very welcoming and kind throughout our stay. Thank you Bianca and the team!

Absolutely great! Lovely rooms, the beach is just in front of the great garden. Shops and many restaurants within 5 minutes. Cool beach bars are literally a few steps away. Professional and very kind hosts, do not hesitate for a second to spend a wonderful time here with your family or friends.

The only downside is that there is a single bathroom for 4 people, but everything else is perfect.

Great location, waterfront. Staff was very friendly. Close to shops and stores. Each bedroom had an air conditioner.

Ants. They were mostly in the bathroom and patio. Probably due to the location of the property, being right on the beach. To access the swimming pool had to go up the hill. The walk is fairly short but it was an “exercise”, not an easy one especially during the hot summer season.
