First of all can't say enough about how nice the whole staff was. Everyone was very helpful, from advice on where to go for food, what to visit, from where to rent a car etc. Rooms were very big with an awesome view of the sea., and most important it was facing north which for me in Grece is a bonus. General hotel clenliness was good, rooms were also cleaned daily. Beach is awesome everywhere in Agia Marina. Nothing but smooth sand and clear waters. Perfect for kids.

Breakfast was just okay, could have been better. Didn't like the pool area as it was a bit weird being separated in two different pools. The worst part is that there was absolutely no shade anywhere. They don't offer half-board as during the day I'm usually nowhere near the hotel. Bathrooms need a refresh.

The property is absolutely fantastic. Location is superb. Facilities are great. Great breakfast, variety of Lunch, snacks and wonderful dinner every day. We were on All Inclusive, so we didn’t need anything else regarding food and drinks. We had 2 rooms, one of them with a private pool and it was really beautiful. Rooms are very spacious and with all the necessities required. Both rooms were equipped with a small kitchenette a living room which we had a sofa bed in, separate bedroom and a bathroom . Shower was very spacious and comfortable. The room with the private pool was also with snacks, wine, beer, soft drinks etc. The private beach and the beach is really nice. The people from the reception are really helpful . They suggested us with excursions which we really enjoyed

The property needs some minor refurbishments. Lifts need to be renovated . A/C in the reception area needs to be more powerful.

Loved it! Hotel was a good size with two pools, two bars/restaurants and it’s right on the beach, as well as being very close to bars, restaurants and shops and a few mini golf/arcade type places. Staff were all lovely and our room was clean with a big balcony overlooking the hotel and the beach. We did all inclusive and the food was amazing with so much choice. Drinks choices were great too, especially liked being able to help yourself to wine, beer and soft drinks. We’ll definitely be staying here if we come back to Crete.

It fully met our expectations. The staff was kind and helpful. The environment and the room were comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Abundant and delicious breakfast. We received a welcome gift. Many program options that the hotel arranged for us. The pool is cleaned every day. We loved it, they made our a holiday and honey moon fantastic.

Right on beach, nice sunrises, clean nice sandy beach where one can take long walks, low sea good for kids when weather good, excellent superhelpful staff, clean, all inclusive covering all basic needs, convenience stores all around.

Uncomfortable beds, busy traffic on the street separating the two halves of the property (but a crossover bridge in place), pool chairs reserved from early morning (despite unoccupied during parts of the day), food a little monotonous with too much sauces (more natural would be better, sauced could be kept on the side).

Staff were really friendly, helpful and welcoming. They took very good care of us! Food was excellent. There was a great choice in the main restaurant and all the food was prepared and seasoned really well.

The main restaurant was a little like a canteen and echoed a lot when there were a lot of people eating at the same time.

The Hotel was in a very good location and the facilities were excellent. Both swimming pools were well looked after and great for families. We preferred to spend most of our time on the beach which I thought was in an ideal location and had the right number of sunbeds so as not to over crowd it. The water was shallow and safe for children and you had to go out at least 100meters before it became chest deep, perfect. The staff were excellent too, hard working and very friendly, especially reception who were exceptionally helpful for information and excursions and basically everything to do with the hotel. We were all inclusive so local drinks included were OK. But the lunch selection was very good with an ample selection of hot and cold choices in a Restaurant/Bar different and better than the evening meal restaurant.

The only downside was the breakfast/dinner restaurant which we felt was like a canteen, with coloured bucket chairs with metal tubular legs and Formica type tables. This did not feel like a nice dining experience so we ate out more than we did at the hotel, even though we were on all inclusive.

It was a wonderful stay in Iolida beach, it was so comfortable to be there. There are no luxury design or a lot of events, but it was so cozy, clean and the food was amazing! It was the most delicious all inclusive in my whole live. Stuff was super friendly, we felt like we were at home there. The beach was clean, sea was amazing and we could find sun beds at every time of the day. Our room was a bit far from the beach in second part of the hotel, but we had a wonderful sea view and it was super quiet there

The food is super tasty. They really put heart in cooking. They also have a different theme of the day, like Mexican or Chinese day, but on that day you can still get a proper local food. The view from balcony at 9th floor is breathtaking. People are super nice. We will definitely come back. All the best!

The staff is amazing! Always smiling and ready to help, the cleaning was great and done twice a day with new sheets and towels. Great view from the room. Breakfast was really good. The beach connected to the hotel was great.

The rooms are a bit outdated and some parts need a bit of a fix-up. The hotel is split in half by a rather busy road, which you have to cross when going to the lobby or to breakfast. There is a bridge over it but stairs on both sides, impossible for strollers and my family had two of those. The part of the hotel by the beach is reserved for a special travel agency, it was my understanding that part was not bookable on Booking.com. (To be fair, all of this was covered in older reviews and we should’ve read those before. Overall we were happy with our stay and that was largely thanks to the amazing staff - we moved to a 5star hotel later in the trip and ended up missing Iolida and their amazing staff!)
