Hotel is very nice in a great location with a lots of restaurants, bars, shops etc nearby. Pool was nice, though it was quite cold, but we were there in October right before they were closing for a winter so it is understandable. Staff in hotel was very nice, both in reception and the pool guys were great :-) Cleaning was done daily (wow!), we never experienced such a thing before and we would be happy with cleaning once every 2 or 3 days :-) We had breakfast only once, it was good, but our children didn't like it so we prefered to do our shopping or eat outside. Beach was nice with a lot of sunbeds in a shade so this is a huge plus. From this area you can go to a lot of trips to a nearby historical cities, beaches, shrines, olive plantations etc etc. so definitely hire a car and enjoy beauties of west Crete!

Excellent hotel by the sandy beach with warm Greek hospitality. Staff is amazing and super flexible, they could even arrange early check in and late check out for us. Room was very clean and big and had a small kitchen which was convenient when making breakfast. By the pool there is a restaurant where you can also enjoy breakfast/lunch. Many restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel area. If you have a car they provide free parking, in late May-early June we could easily find space for our car. Very good value for the money!

Hotel offers a perfect combination of proximity to beach and relaxation (No loud restaurants next door). Pool area is also much nicer than in photos, meaning grass and trees are closer, you don’t get the feeling of being surrounded by concrete. Most of pool is quite deep, so you can swim around too. You have the option to lounge by the beach or take a shaded chair under the trees with grass around or you can just stroll 20 more steps to reach the sandy beach area with more loungers and umbrellas which you can enjoy all day for price of a coffee or more you wish to order from bar. We walked along Agia Marina further up and sections can be more pebbly (even found a stretch with seaweed). So beachfront of Eden Beach Hotel is positively clean, sandy and welcoming. Rooms get cleaned every day. Very friendly and chill bar staff and receptionist.

Rooms can be fairly small, but doesn’t matter much since you don’t spend much time there. Appreciated that both fridge and aircon were quiet.

The staff were wonderful, and you could see the sea and the pool from our room which was lovely. The bed was comfy (even whilst being 6 months pregnant), and it was a good location for access to Chania and the rest of western Crete. Maids came every day which was nice and the coffee at the pool cafe was great! There's also supermarkets and restaurants very close by, so it was a very convenient location with a nice beach. It's a nice sized hotel as there are people around but it's also very calm and quiet. Great value for money for the area.

Not much! Agia Marina was very quiet at the beginning of May, which was probably a blessing but it did mean there wasn't much going on in the area. We arrived on 1st May so the season was just getting started. Most restaurants were already open though which was good - lots of great food around. For very minor feedback, it would be nice to have a dustpan and brush in the room so we can sweep up sand ourselves. Due to personal preferences, we'd probably stay somewhere more rural in Crete next time, but it was a great spot for convenience if that's what you're looking for.

Location: So close to the beach, I had a see view which meant I could watch the sunrise and hear the waves, which was so therapeutic. I left the balcony door open most nights so I could fall asleep with the sound of the sea. My room had been modernised which was clean and contemporary. Easy walking distance to bars, tavernas and shops. A really good base for exploring, mins from Chania and arranging other trips. Great little Café for breakfast and snacks, sunbeds were free with a 10 euro spend. Friendly, helpful staff, throughout my stay, great service with the food, provided a shower room at end of stay because I had a late flight and arranged my taxi to the airport. Thank you, Eden Team.

First night I thought the mattress and pillow were quite hard, 2nd night I found a softer pillow in the cupboard and didn't really notice the mattress/bed anymore after that.

A hotel with excellent staff and location, nice pool (split with a separate part for smaller kids) and a direct access to the beach. Both the staff in the reception and pool / beach bar are super friendly and helpful. The pool / beach bar offers good salads, pizza, club sandwiches etc. for a quick lunch and there are loads of good restaurants in a walking distance (specially if you go towards Platanias). Everything at the hotel was well kept and clean. Yeah, sure the kitchen in the room might do good with some more equipment, but if you are not planning to cook big dinners in your room, but instead looking to enjoy your holiday on the beach or the pool with or without kids in a relaxing, safe and friendly environment, this is the correct choice.

What can I say. This was one of the best holidays we've ever had. Accomodation was perfect - couldn't have been any closer to the beach. Staff so friendly and apartments spotlessly clean. Open the patio doors and we could hear the waves. Beach was so safe and we walked a long way before we were out of our depths. Some fab restaurants right on the beach allowing us to experience the wonderful sunsets. Highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel and staff! We absolutely enjoyed our stay there and will be back for sure. The beach is perfect, not deep at all, the pool as well and it has shade in the morning and late evening hours. The rooms are spacious and clean. Our favorite part was how nice and caring everyone is - the bar staff, the receptionist and the kitchen ladies. They all took amazing care of our whole family during our stay and my daughter is still talking about them at home. Lovely place and absolutely great value for money.

A lovely little place right on the beach. Rooms were basic but spotlessly clean. On our departure day unfortunately we couldn’t have a late check out because people were arriving early but there was a shower that we could use and the staff were so accommodating.. they offered us towels and shower gel, even offered us bags to put our wet swimming costumes in, and there was a fridge that we could leave our drinks in too. Would definitely stay here again
