It is a very good place for someone who wants to spend a few days close to a beach and relatively close to large city, such as the city of Chania. The one bedroom (plus a separate living room) apartment was spacious and it had all the necessary items if someone wants to prepare a quick dish, not sure about a full meal as we did not make any. The owner provided us with some items we needed, in addition. Maria's restaurant close by has excellent food with reasonable prices (open for dinner only-closed on Wednesdays) and short-order-like restaurant at the front of the premises would satisfy a sudden appetite. Back to the premises, in addition to the small, circular pool shown on the main page of the place, it also has a somewhat larger rectangular pool. The apartment being on the second floor had two balconies. Note that all such apartments are on the second floor (one above the ground level), so due to the number of stairs may not be appropriate for persons with mobility issues. Both the master double bed and the two single beds in the living room were comfortable. It was clean as was the bathroom. I would have preferred though that the bath were a shower stall rather than the small bathtub it had. They replaced our towels after two days. The beach is 50 meters away, across the road. It will be liked by most visitors, it is a long stretch of nice sand (500-600 m long, 30 m wide) and the water starts shallow which is perfect for small children. However, it facing north, is more susceptible to the usual northern winds and therefore it may have more and larger waves (may be good for surfers, though). The good thing (at least the days we were there, late September) was that the ugly sight of rows of sunbeds without end was not there, it had a few groups of them but far between. One or two supermarkets were close by but as they mainly catering to tourists have limited selections.

The place would have been excellent having been attended to detail. For example, a small light by the bed would have been very useful. Other such small things make one place to differentiate from another. Having said that, I would stay there again if I find myself in that area of Crete.

The accomodation was in a good location, close to supermarkets, restaurants and the beach. The bad was comfortable, and the room was well equipped. The Wi-fi was strong. The accomodation had a small pool with several sunbeds, good for some relaxation. There was opportunity for parking, close to hotel. There were several cats and a dog in the hotel area, they were friendly :)

The cleanliness was not perfect. The bed sheets contained some stains, and the drawers had some hairs left from previous visitors. The cats were a bit noisy at night, they were on mating period.

Extremely good value. 👍 We arrived 3hrs before official check in and the owner let us in the room - thank you. Friendly welcome and the Husband and Wife team will be on hand to help you with anything. They are very friendly. It was late season so there were some good deals around. For what we paid we felt that this property offered really good services. The room was spacious , clean and comfortable. Room cleaning every 2 days. Comfy mattress. Terrace on ground floor with drying rack and table and chairs. Yes, the facilities were basic and not new but everything worked fine. We had a microwave, hob with oven, kettle, pans etc. Didn't need air con but it was available. English news channel. Hot water. WiFi was slow in room but worked OK outside. Pool was clean and a decent size, obviously a bit on the cold side at this time of year. Close proximity to bus stop to Chania or opposite direction. Only 15 mins to Chania Centre by bus and 1.70 euro per trip. Close to the beach - 5 min walk. Close to a few Tavernas and small supermarkets - tourist prices! We liked the grounds and felt very comfortable for the 2 days we were there.

Noisy people above us scraping chairs and stomping around etc, not hotel's fault but if you are a light sleeper maybe ask or pay extra for a high floor. We were only there for 2 nights so not worth complaining about at the time. Blankets were a bit tired. Slight smell of cat poo in terrace planting area. Feral kittens were using it as a litter tray. We gave a 10/10 because it was such great value, despite a couple of minor issues.

The hosts were extremely welcoming and we felt at ease at once. They accommodated us in the best way possible and answered all our questions. The couple running the hotel gave out real grandparent vibes and had humour; you could easily tell that they really cared about their guests. We got a big apartment with three balconies— so much more than expected. The master bedroom was a dream come true, with windows and lots of space and light. The pool was amazing, peaceful and quiet without loud music. There were no time regulations as to when we were allowed to use the pool, so we could swim whenever we wanted.

The cleaning was superb the first couple of days, but mid week the surfaces stayed a little dirty. We had a lot of stuff lying around on different tables, so that may be why (🙈)

Owner and staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay and always smiling.The room and facilities were exceptional for the price paid.We were really impressed with the cleanliness and regular housemaid visits.The pool was clean,a comfortable temperature and good size for swimming. One minute walk across the road and you are on the sands.Plenty of tavernas and eating/drinking facilities along the shoreline here.

A little pebbly to enter the sea so would suggest beach shoes a good idea.The sea remains shallow for a fair way out.

We needed somewhere budget in the area and picked Evilion as it fitted the bill. Right at the start of the ‘busy’ section of this coast with the beach across the road. Very clean, large bright room with a comfortable bed and the basic facilities you need to make breakfast or a sandwich. Clean bathroom with plenty of hot water in the shower. A pool and friendly owner completed the bargain.

It is a budget place so be aware its not up to date modern. Conveniently by the busy road so on your balcony it is noisy. Once the door is shut a good sleep is not a problem at all. The pool is really deep and slopes very sharply.

The room was nice and spacious, clean and well equipped, with an efficient air condition (seemed to be like new). In addition there was a fan under the ceiling, which we've used quite a lot. Despite the property is next to a quite busy road, we've slept very well (thanks to efficient sound-proof windows with shades and really comfortable beds). The location is good, not far away from Chania and with a beach just across the street. We haven't spend too much time on the terrace, in the morning because of a sunshine and in the evening because of mosquitos. But, this property has two hammocks in the grarden, which we've explored quite a lot - what can be better than enjoying a cold beer in the hammock under banana palms after an exhausting walk through an overheated Chania?! There are 3-4 parking places in front of the property, but it was not a big problem to find parking on the street otherwise. WiFi is excellent, strong signal and stable all the time. I'm not sure I'd like to spend the whole say 2-weeks holidays in this area, but I can sincerely recommend this property to relax while exploring the Chania region. We'll definitely choose this accomodation next time we come to enjoy in stunning old Chania.

Despite the sheets being obviously washed and ironed, there were some stains visible (probably tome tough ones...). Not a big issue at the end, but definitely not nice to see. From time to time, there was a smell of sewage around the pool or in the garden, but I guess it's source was somewhere out of this property (so the kind owner of this property can probably not do much about).

The apartment was very spacious, overlooking the sea and the pool, and the neighboring hills. We arrived earlier, but we could leave our luggage in the apartment until the cleaning was finished, the hosts were very kind. We didn't have a meal included, but at the entrance to the apartment complex there is a small bistro with very good food and across the street two restaurants on the seafront. It was a very pleasant vacation.

The hotel was located close to supermarkets and taverns all minutes away the beach just over the road. We had a studio room which was very spacious and equipped with what we needed . The hotel owners especially his wife were exceptionally friendly we loved every minute and we will be back definitely. Many thanks from west wales .

Very clean hotel, nice and simple apartments for good price. Friendly owners, apartment was cleaned very often. Good size pool for small hotel, clean and not overcrowded, nice garden. Despite the fact that hotel is close to the street, feels very private and secluded. Will visit again for sure!

Few more sun beds by the pool would be nice :)
