Nice location and the sea view was lovely. Suites were lovely and the pool area was very chilled. The sea was also a big hit with clean blue warm water.

We didn’t like the food overall. The menu isn’t great and a lot of fast food options which to be honest, didn’t look appealing. The food menu wasn’t 5 star more 3 star I would say. Breakfast was nice and lots of options. However, the lunch menu is poor and they didn’t use fresh ingredients for the pasta in the tagliatelle dish. See photo. The dish used some sort of ‘out of the packet pasta’ and which wasn’t even cooked fully. To be honest, we both couldn’t see ourselves in eating there everyday for this reason. Please invest in some fresh ingredients and a chef who can cook for your guests. The coffee was also terrible and came directly from a poor quality machine. It doesn’t take much to make a good coffee in terms of investment or staff training.

The all-you-can-eat breakfast was amazing, me and my partner both had plenty options (we have very different tastes: I usually go for healthy food, he usually goes for more processed foods). Eating the breakfast outside so close to the sea was amazing! Far away from the touristic crowds, intimate, stylish design. The free massage at the spa was amazing. Don't miss the sunset!

Zorba's beach and the bus stop are a 35 min walk away (by foot). From Stavros to Chania city centre (and return) are around 4 buses/day.

Our stay at Kavos Hotel & Suites was amazing! We stayed in a suite with a private pool that offered a fabulous view—definitely a highlight of the trip. The housekeeping staff was wonderful—always friendly and did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless. We loved the buffet breakfast each morning, which was delicious and had plenty of variety. The time we spent in the ocean was unforgettable, with crystal-clear waters that made it feel like we were snorkeling in an aquarium. The hotel went above and beyond with thoughtful touches like a complimentary bottle of local wine, honey, and snacks, which made us feel truly welcomed. Another bonus was the car rental included with our room, which made exploring the area easy, and the complimentary shuttle to the airport was incredibly convenient. Our driver also gave us great local recommendations, which we really appreciated.

The hotel is in a remote location, so having a car is essential to explore the area and access nearby restaurants and attractions. It’s beautifully secluded, but you'll need to plan ahead for dining and activities outside the property.

My room was gorgeous, large and had its own small pool. Hotel pool area was fabulous, lots of lovely seating and sunbed areas. Staff were friendly, warm and very helpfull. I had a late flight and was able to keep my pool towels and continue to use the pool etc until i left about 21:00. Food was great, large portions. Call bell service from your sunbed. Views and sunset were lovely. Had an amazing massage in their spa.

The only thing was the little pool could have been a bit warmer. If the rooms had faced the sun that would have made it a 10/10. A small shower changing room for those checked out but with late flights would be useful and welcome. Some of the food choices were not available.

Booked this place for one night as it was close to airport for an early flight. Very happy with the stay, staff were all lovely. Beautiful views from the pool and glorious sunset. We got a kavos special for a late lunch and it was the best club sandwich I have ever had! We also got a free upgrade to a garden suite which was super and had a touch of class. Wish we had another night but if you are looking for somewhere for your last night or two to chill, for the price I would highly recommend.

A bit of a distance from anywhere but for proximity to airport and views great for a short stay

Pick up and drop off to airport included was really easy.. only 20 min drive.We arrived at midnight and the guy who picked us up made a detour so we could stop at a shop! Good quality hire car as well that are at the hotel waiting for you and easy hand over. We stayed in one of the suites that has it's own pool which are a 2 min walk from the main hotel. Lots of privacy so my wife enjoyed lots of topless sunbathing! Awesome view over the little cove where you can swim and is good for snorkeling. The room itself was brilliantly clean and modern. Housekeeping turned up every day to tidy The main pool is really large and clean and all surrounding areas are really nice and well kept. Breakfast was good with something for everyone and served from 8 till 10. We preferred lunch to dinner as it was more to our taste although both lunch and dinner were both really well priced so it's not expensive to stay in. Location wise you have great beaches near by, the main 2 approx a 5 min drive away. A couple of little shops around the corner a 2 min drive away that have everything you really need and they do absolutely banging coffee about a third of the price of Starbucks! There's a supermarket about a 10 min drive and probably another 15 min from there is Chania Old Town which is very pretty. We have been to this part of Crete a few times now and this was by far our best experience and will 100% be coming back here. It's not the cheapest place to stay but you get what you pay for and if you want a luxury relaxing break with zero to worry about don't go anywhere else

The only thing I can think of is the light switches in our suite where really complicated! 😂

The location of this hotel is its greatest advantage. A great place to relax and chill. Helpful service and proximity to interesting beaches are additional advantages. If you like snorkeling, the private bay is an ideal place to admire underwater life. A nice place away from the hustle and bustle of Chania. and those sunsets..

They could work on breakfasts a little bit :)

Perfect place for our honeymoon! It’s a wonderful place, we stayed in the junior suite with infinity sparkling pool and it was just amazing. The private pool was fantastic and you can see the sunset over the sea from it! The hotel restaurant is very nice and staff were lovely. We got an option with free car rental included which was also great, it was a very nice car and meant we could explore the area (Chania about 30-35 mins away, plenty of nice tavernas nearer too). I recommend it so highly, it was really everything we could have dreamed of! :) We hope to return for an anniversary one day!

There was nothing we didn’t like, everything was perfect for us! The only thing I’d say, is if you don’t want to drive (or can’t drive) then it’s a remote location (which is part of what makes it so nice). It wasn’t a problem for us, as we wanted to drive around and explore Crete anyway, but it’s something to consider just in case if you dislike driving.

We loved the location and rooms at Stavros. It is a wonderful property. Great food, wonderful spa, love the pools.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at Kavos Hotel & Suites. I had booked this resort for our honeymoon so my expectations were high – and they were exceeded in every way possible. The location and resort grounds were absolutely stunning. A lot of thought has been put into planning this resort, and the ambiance is just so stylish and relaxing. Our suite with private pool was a real gem – so stylishly designed, modern and immaculate. We spent a lot of time enjoying our own large terrace and pool. Then I would like to give a special thanks for the staff of the hotel. They had clearly been well selected since every member of staff was highly professional and genuinely friendly. The overall vibe of the staff was just fantastic, and they made sure our honeymoon would be a success. Also, big compliments to the restaurant Methexis. The quality of food and value for money was exceptional. We eat there nearly every day, and every meal was really delicious. As many say, it was also a nice addition that a restaurant of this quality and style was so affordable. And above all, the service was outstanding.

Everything was just perfect. The lights in the room were very hard to figure out but this is just feedback, not a complaint :)
